Telstra
ASX:TLS perfect contraction ??ASX:TLS gave over 33% in just over one year from last analysis - what a peaceful ride
just hovering around for several weeks on line that was acting as major resistance
looks like stock is taking time for next rigger
growth is an issue
Having captured captail gains plus life long dividend scenario can't get better than this..
Telstra Jumps On Declared Special DivAbove we see the TLS weekly time frame. Technically, the moving averages are in a bullish stack with the shorter-term green > intermediate orange> longer-term red. Moreover, there is good angle and separation which indicates a strong momentum for the telecom. On a classical charting basis, TLS may have charted a double bottom, which is an accumulation pattern. The company released its results today, saying that it expects to return to full-year growth in its fiscal 22. During the current period, the company paid down debt and monetised more than $2bn of assets. Of note, shareholders will receive a fully-franked dividend (i.e., paid from earnings after tax) of 8cps, which included a special dividend of 3cps.
Telstra CorpStrong Buy - Have re set alert a couple of times on Telstra looks a little bit volatile but looks to me like it is on the move has broken above downward trend line also.
Return on Assets Return and on Equity is Green so that's good, Revenue has been dropping since 2016 yoy but still makes 1.8 Billion net profit a year that's more than me wowza !
So could be a bit of a worry, if earnings are supposed to be the main factor in driving a companies' share price higher, which it often isn't, if that was the case it would be too easy.
Look at A2 milk they said they won't be making quite as much as last year and their share price has dropped 50% makes Net profits of $385 million a year increasing 100 million yoy and everyone is dumping it makes no sense too me it's just a case of last one out looses the most it isn't logical.
Anyways

Tesltra - Ride the bullPlease see my previous chart below to get a better understanding of where I believe we are currently. At the moment I have Telstra as a strong buy due to the belief we are coming to the end of our 4th wave of it's minor cycle. With previous support holding and large interest from ETF funds shown in volume I believe we are about to push onto our fifth and final wave into our distribution zone.
TELSTRA DOUBLE BOTTOM EMA BULL CROSS?Hello Traders,
Another chart worth having a look – Telstra Corporation Limited ASX
Points to consider
- Monthly double bottom
- EMA’s turning bullish
- Broke resistance, turned potential support
- Stochs testing upwards region
- RSI Testing upper level resistance
TELSTRA is looking quite similar to previous price action before a 92% rise in value!
We can confirm that price has put in a monthly double bottom which is quite bullish; price was also able to break multiyear resistance with strong bull volume. We need to see bulls retest this resistance and confirm as support before we see another leg upwards.
The EMA’s are close to turning bullish at current given time, this will be confirmed by more bull volume and a retest of the now potential support.
There are sparkling similarities between the previous rise in TELSTRA to where is it currently. We need to see the stochastics hold upper region in the highlighted box. Also the RSI needs to break local resistance and hold upper regions to support bullish price action.
The VPVR shows decreasing levels of transactions from this current point, we can use this knowledge to dictate to probability of price being able to reach local resistances.
The next couple months will be interesting for TELSTRA is the bullish EMA cross and Double Bottoms holds true, we may be in for a bull trend if the probabilities hold true…
What are your thoughts on TELSTRA, will it confirm support or break down bearish from this point onwards?

Telstra increasing in price! With Samsungs Galaxy Note S10 5G and the beginning of 5G technology, Telstra will be thriving to dominate in the new 5G market. Already Telstra has sold many new Galaxy Note S10 phones, hinting that 5G will soon be in demand. 5G will be a big expense but can easily be profitable due to what 5G will be supporting such as remote surgeries and Artificial Intelligence. 5G only has a radius of 150 meters, meaning the cost will be more than 4G and will only be in cities until further technology is researched.
This is a massive opportunity for Telstra and one that they will not miss, Samsung phones are thriving in sales and only need more 5G antennas to support all features of the phone.
My intentions towards Telstra is to Buy Long and remain a holding owner until 5G has reached its peak price thus slowing Telstra's revenue. This is due to everyone having 5G and becoming the norm, similar to how 4G is today.
Time to Long TELSTRALooks like we bout to hit bottom. This should be a good place to go long. If it breaks down more, then you can always bail at a stop loss, but this right here is a seven year low. With the recent job cuts and 5G around the corner, I fully expect a rebound.
Also every single analyst right now is telling you to sell. Thats a buy signal in itself.
Telstra (TLS) Analysis - 1 Month CandlesTLS has been on a downtrend since 2015. It looks like it has now completed its ABC correction right to the 78.6% retracement mark. There is a five wave pattern within it's most recent downtrend, shown within the dotted downtrend channel. As TLS has now looked to have completed its ABC correction after a strong run up from 2010 to 2015, it looks to have now started a new market cycle. Be on the look out for the downtrend channel to be broken and for the trend line to be a possible new support.
$BUD On The Rise$BUD has broken above tops of $0.265 with volume On the back of an announcement by Telstra on Friday. Support should come in previous highs ($0.250) Good product with long-term potential.
