Our Stock of the Day / TLRYToday, we will share a long setup; here is the full explanation:
a) The price has broken a descending trendline after reaching a support zone and making a reversal movement
b) Currently, we can see a corrective structure making a throwback on the broken area
c) Based on that, we have set a long setup above the trendline of the corrective structure (check Entry, Take Profit and Stop on the chart)
d) We will move our stop loss into break even if the price reaches the yellow line.
e) We will risk 1% of our capital on this specific trade
f) Remember: Trade Safe, protect your capital, and always understand what you are doing!
TLRY
TLRY buy the pullback!TLRY did not disapoint and is now making a correction. Correction should be between 5.17 and 5.71, lower than that and would put the pattern in question. Also like the volume distribution in that level of pricing, should be great support. Buy dips or sell short term dated calls and collect premium!
TLRY taking off?TLRY presenting an excellent risk/reward trade...With support at $4.41 that is near the 78.6% retrace, I'm looking for it to go to 11.56 before a retrace, then break 21.05 convincingly and go to 38.25 at a minimum. After, retrace to around 21.05 to finally go to a minimum of 38.25. Has potential to spike towards 70+ if it holds this bullish pattern.
MJ- Cannabis stocks in the accumulation zoneACB, APHA, CGC, CRON, GTBIF, TLRY are in my Cannabis watchlist. I am bullish on APHA and GTBIF.
MJ is a more conservative approach to capture the gain with limited downside risk.
Ladder buy within the demand zone. Set the stop loss 10% to 15% below the demand zone for the swing to intermediate setup.
ETFMJ- Cannabis ETF- Capture the gain (Industry)Cannabis industry, after a wild run-up and capitulation in 2018, has been trading under its intrinsic value for a while.
For investors who want the exposure to the industry without taking on the excessive amount of risk associated with individual cannabis stocks, ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF is the way to go.
Go long now in the trading range or go long in the demand zone if the consolidation break-down happens.
Tilray ShortNice H&S pattern on TLRY in overall downtrend. Reported earnings a few days ago which could
serve as the catalyst for a plunge.
I've seen many times now where a stock has a couple-day delayed reaction to earnings before making a big move.
Could be a nice short with a potential 60%-ish drop to get to the last support (prior low), which is not far away.

OPENING: TLRY SEPTEMBER/JULY 6/10 LONG CALL DIAGONALBack to the "Weed Well" immediately post earnings with 30-day still ginormous at 198% while I wait for June opex ... .
Metrics:
Max Loss: 2.89/contract
Max Profit: 1.11/contract
Debit Paid to Spread With Ratio: 72.2%
Break Even: 8.89 versus 10.01 spot
Notes: Extrinsic collected with the short call far exceeds that in the long, so I make money if it just sits here or does anything but drop below the break even at 8.89. If it doesn't approach near max at July expiry, I'll look to roll out the short call for additional cost basis reduction.
