GBP/USD: 12/05. Buyer's OpportunityGBP/USD remains on the defensive near 1.2530 even as it renews the intraday high ahead of the all-important UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data early Friday. Not only positioning ahead of the data, but optimistic market expectations and fears of a positive surprise also allowed the Pound to ease its recent losses.
GBP/USD trades near the lower limit of the ascending retracement channel, currently at 1.2560. The 50-period simple moving average (SMA) also consolidated that support. In the event that the pair confirms it as resistance, then 1.2530 (100-period SMA) would align with the next downside target ahead of 1.2510 (psychological level, static level) and 1.2450 ( 200 period SMA).
On the other hand, 1.2680 (static level) forms temporary resistance ahead of 1.2670 (midpoint of ascending retracement channel). A close above the four-hour close could attract buyers and prompt another move higher towards 1.2710. OANDA:GBPUSD
EUR/JPY: 11/05. Expectations for SELL BREAKOUT BEFORE PPI NEWSEUR/JPY has printed consecutive bearish sessions breaking last year's high of 148.48, extending its losses past the 18-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA). The evening star three candlestick pattern shows that further downtrend is expected. But the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator remains bullish, while the 3-day Rate of Change (RoC) depicts the momentum sellers are gathering.
If EUR/JPY falls below the current week low of 147.02 and the RSI breaks through the 50 moving average, it will exacerbate the decline of the 50-day EMA at 146.00. A decisive break will reveal the right price to enter a sell point at 146,800 today.
Conversely, if EUR/JPY recovers and confirms the 20-day EMA, it can move above the 148.60 mark. Once cleared, the next stop would be last year's high of 148.50, followed by the 150.50 figure. OANDA:EURJPY

Who is at fault?
Let's start by acknowledging that we shall identify who is to blame for the irreversible. Who exactly is at fault for the money you lost?
A market that is unprofitable? A market maker seeking increased compensation? A deceiver who desires to put everyone out of business? A signalman looking to overcharge for his signaled closed channel? Children who find it difficult to focus? Always a troublesome partner?
No, you alone are at fault. You initiated the deal with your own two hands, which resulted in the destruction of everything. Nobody else compelled you to risk everything. Realizing this should cause you to cease blaming others for the results of your own behavior. It gets worse when you realize that your actions caused the money to be lost; it consumes you internally and prevents you from thinking clearly. You shouldn't worry, though, because life continues on. regain your composure.
Errors are acceptable
Each of us has the right to make errors because we are all human. Making mistakes is a necessary part of learning because otherwise, how would we know what is worthwhile and what is not? Just understand that mistakes are a necessary part of our journey and give yourself permission to make them. We learn from our failures and gain priceless experience that helps us reach higher heights. There are numerous examples of people who went completely bankrupt making a comeback among the Forbes list participants, using the priceless expertise they received as a result of their past errors to increase their earnings, accelerate their business growth, and improve as entrepreneurs.
We all know all this famous success stories so the same is true with traders. How did Jesse Livermore come to be the subject of the memoir "Memoirs of a Stock Operator"? He completely lost all of his money and occasionally had to start again from nothing. He persisted and saw the setbacks as vital lessons that he could use to his advantage to eventually succeed.
Work on your flaws
Work diligently to correct your errors, consider your past, and determine what caused you to fail. What were you going through right when it all started? What feelings did you experience? What were you contemplating? What did they desire?
You work
Will you be able to make regular long-term gains with your current trading approach and mindset? Study technical analysis, system trading, money management techniques, trader psychology, and all that comes after if the answer is no. You can only succeed with system trading, restraint, and patience. Find someone whose primary source of money is trading, who is knowledgeable about the aforementioned, and trade with him if you don't have the willingness or time to do all of this and trading is your secondary source of revenue. However, when looking for someone like this, exercise extreme caution and thoroughly research his prior experiences.
Are you plagued by the thought of wondering why, after earning a sizable sum for themselves, they didn't remove money from the market? Did you have any objectives or was money your main concern? Unless, of course, you are a fan of waste paper, money cannot be an end in itself; it can only be a means for achieving goals.
It is not unexpected that you did not withdraw money if your aim was an illogical abstraction, such as a "abstract house," "abstract automobile," "abstract journey," and so forth.
Change of direction
You must express the objective clearly in order to succeed:
The statement "I want to buy a good apartment" will not be effective, but the statement "I will purchase an apartment with panoramic windows in Paris, will be effective. If you don't know why you need money, trading will become for you a toy that rapidly becomes boring and destroys your life. But keep in mind that the objectives should be realistic and truly vital for you.
This strategy will enable you to consistently take winnings from your trading account, set aside money for your objectives, and enhance the quality of your life.
Enjoy yourself
Don't go overboard a while frequently withdrawing money from a trading account. Make sure to spend at least a little money on your family and friends. You will thus be able to envision the outcome, feel inspired, and replenish your mental resources, which you can then use to make money.
Put your affairs in order.
You should bring yourself into balance after addressing the errors.
Take care of your personal affairs, devote time to loved ones, your health, your children, pursue self-education, and relax in order to do this. Money and fresh ideas will undoubtedly come to you, and you'll discover a way out of the predicament.
Life continues; it has not ended. You have a roof over your head, pleasant living conditions, food, water, good health, close friends, and many other things that you take for granted. Trust me, your life is someone's dream. Remember that many people do not have access to all of this, so be grateful for what you do have and enjoy life; everything else is just a minor annoyance.
For your own benefit
Due to the harsh circumstances, you will begin to see opportunities that you previously missed because of your comfortable lifestyle. However, your perspective will change totally as a result of these extreme circumstances. You now have experience, something most people do not. Your own success formula must include experience. He is the one who will keep you from making snap decisions and assist you in working through a challenging circumstance.
"People become weak in good times. Poor people create poor times. People become resilient under tough times. Good times are made by strong individuals."
The more challenging and challenging it is for you, the more probable it is that you will succeed if you manage.
"A person wins internal victories during a tough time, and external victories during a prosperous time."
Success, wealth, and acclaim will come to those who are diligently working on developing their character without giving in to hopelessness and despair. If you look around, you'll observe that most individuals behave in the exact opposite way during difficult times:
Such people start to look for someone to blame for their difficulties when they become depressed, start drinking, and moan to everyone around them. This is due of their moral weakness, and they blame the government, presidents, officials, bankers, family, and friends. The victim's position entirely negates a person's advancement and ends his accomplishment. A person who is upset by fate criticizes more successful and strong people rather than making changes in his life and improving himself.

BTC last level of supportBTC is breaking below the lower part of the range that has been in place over past months. Note there is one last "hope" level for the bulls, the puke lows in mid June, just shy of 18k. The price is well below all moving averages, with the 50 about to break below the 100 again.
Bitcoin hits 2022 low and struggles to clear 2022w/avgDespite some positive developments earlier this month, the crypto market is experiencing some moderate bloodletting as Bitcoin hits its 2022 low.
Bitcoin has fallen under $19,000, the support zone of 2017 highs. The crypto market cap has also fallen below $950 billion. After a bearish reaction below the $19,500 support, Bitcoin price started a major decline. The price is now moving lower low towards the $18,500 support zone. The next intraday support is near the $18,200 zone, below which the price could even test the major $16,300 support zone.
The Bitcoin price has been struggling with the 200-week moving average for 14 straight weeks, longest in history. Same goes with Crypto Fear & Greed index which is in extreme fear zone for more almost entire 2022.
ETH in descending channelEthereum is moving inside of descending channel and with simple trading strategy it can be very successful time to trade even if the price moves down.
A descending channel is a chart pattern formed from two downward trendlines drawn above and below a price representing resistance and support levels. The descending channel pattern is also known as a “falling channel” or “channel down“.
On this chart I use only RSI indicator for entry and exit points, while MACD is there only for bias (in negative territory it charts bearish trend). The relative strength index (RSI) is a momentum indicator used in technical analysis that measures the magnitude of recent price changes to evaluate overbought or oversold conditions in the price of a stock or other asset. The RSI is displayed as an oscillator (a line graph that moves between two extremes) and can have a reading from 0 to 100. An asset is usually considered overbought when the RSI is above 70% and oversold when it is below 30%.
With that in mind, you can simply draw support and resistance lines of the channel and trade inside of it with short and long setups until the price breaks out from the pattern. Stop loss should be used accordingly when you enter position.
On the chart you can see that the price turned down when it reached resistance area and when RSI was indicating “overbought” levels and the price turned up when the RSI was marking “oversold” levels and when it touched support level of down trendline. Until the price stays in the channel you can use this tool to trade, but watch out for breakouts as usually they are big with greater volume behind, so use your SL in place.
BTC at first major resistance on HTFBitcoin is printing bullish candles on lower time frames, while it has reached very important 50-week moving average on higher time frame. This is strong resistance line and a big test for the bulls. If it surpassed, BTC could extend the move higher.
The 50-week moving average represents one year of price action because there are 50 weeks in a ‘market year’, representing a long-term measure of the status of prices.
LONG MATICMATIC surged from descending wedge, retested support trendline and bounced back up again. By the book pattern. I’m long from the retest, targeting $1,67 and $1,775 for first targets.
XRP bulls in controlXRP bounced off the 20-day EMA which acts as a support level in bullish movement. Both moving averages have started to turn up and the RSI is in the positive territory, indicating that the path of least resistance is to the upside. My first target is $0,93, followed by $1.2.
Latest news on XRP ->
The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), a sub-organization of the Arab League, has named global payments network RippleNet as a possible alternative to central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
DOT LongPolkadot token (DOT) found support on higher time frame and price made a higher high formation, which was the first bullish sign after long period of price decrease from December ATH. DOT is now moving bullish from the break out of descending triangle pattern. The same pattern was established in July last year, when DOT bottomed out at around $10. RSI is nicely picking up and is in bullish zone on daily chart, price is above 13- and 20- moving average, indicating, bulls are in control.
BTC still in range with neutral indicators The financial world is still circling around the war in Ukraine and the general sentiment is that this is not going to stop very soon. Bitcoin and broader crypto market saw mostly sideways movement with some volatility connected to news and sentiment change. In past week most of the noise was made from Biden's executive order on cryptocurrency regulations, USFederal Reserve’s announcement about increasing interest rates and EuropeanParliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs vote against a version of the Markets in Crypto Assets, or MiCA, bill that could have effectively banned proof-of-work-based cryptocurrencies within the EU. This comes as a huge relief for the crypto industry, whose representatives had previously warned about the threat of a hard regulatory scenario. Bitcoin has been following an ascending trendline since Jan. 22. The line has been validated numerous times, but not broken. Technical indicators are mixed and more or less in a neutral position, indicating more range trading. All major altcoins were moving in a similar pattern, waiting forBTC to show direction. On Wednesday the Fed announced it would raise rates by 25basis points to 0.5% — the first such move since 2018. The decision was accepted as bullish among traders as the FED seems more careful and they are less hawkish. This pushed the stock market up and also Bitcoin with broader markets followed.
Bitcoin failed to overtake $42,000 for now, but is still maintaining a higher low pattern, marking bullish momentum is still in play. In the majority of time frames, technical indicators are neutral. This is especially evident in the RSI and MACD, which are close to 50 and 0, respectively. These readings are considered signs of a neutral trend.
A Chat With Traders: Traders And Psychology With EnochEnoch Baz, the 19-year-old, who literally pays his mama’s bills with: forex trading. Baz is a penultimate student of Architecture in Nigeria. He started forex because according to him, “it’s the only way I can work minor and earn major from home”.
Enoch is an indices fan as he says, “that’s where the money is for me (lol). Work less, earn more.”—US30 and S&P500 do the trick. Chatting with Baz made me realize his undeviating and unswerving approach to trading these pairs. “I trade against Supply and Demand zones looking to be Liquidated and Mitigated”, he utters.
The trader also advances to explain this strategy. To Enoch, It’s more of combining Zone to zone with smart money trading (institutional trading)”.
In addition, he got introduced to Forex in October 2018, after he graduated High-school—by his cousin who’s not a trader currently. Albeit, he took it seriously in 2019. Enoch started off making researches and reading multiple PDFs in his genesis.
Enoch And His Trade Management
Hello Baz, so, how do you manage a trade when in it?
Yeah, before I hop into any trade, I have 3 goals: Firstly, I close with big profits, secondly, small profits, and lastly small loss. Either way, I let my trade run. After I’m in—I go ahead with my day. I always have my risk in mind. Once I’m fine with it, It’s a good day then.
Love the simplicity I must add. However, social media has allowed us as traders to have a wider footprint outside of the forex industry, what do you think your impact is in the industry?
Well, I started my forex-focus-Instagram-account in October 2020, I’ve gotten a lot of messages regarding me leveling up individuals-forex game involuntarily from contents I post. It has been a good impact—helped people over the world know what this grind could bring.
Love the term “over the world” What is your trading plan? And what is your go-to asset class (what pair(s) would you consider are your favorites) and why do you prefer these pairs?
As for trading plan, It’s definitely the: Zone to zone ( risking just 4% of my account maximum), cos of its simplicity & direct approach to the market. I started trading XAUUSD, but currently, I trade indices like US30 & SPX500. Reason—that’s where the money is for me lol. Work less, earn more.
Enoch On Trading Techniques
Work less; Earn more. Yeah—the fun of trading the indices. Do you have a special way you trade this particular pair? If yes, can you share a tip for that pair?
Trade against Supply and Demand zones looking to be: Liquidated or Mitigated. It’s more of combining Zone to zone and smart money trading (institutional trading).
Woah. That’s a lot to take in. However, Fast one Technical, Fundamental or Sentiments? Why?
Technical. Although, fundamentals fuels the market, but only runs for a certain period. After that, we are left with the naked chart. So, Technical is king to me.
A personal question, How much money do you handle now?
Well, I handle two accounts: a $30,000 and a four figure on synthetic indexes.
That’s huge and inspiring, What are your forex weaknesses? How do you plan on going about them? Have you succeeded in doing that?
Forex weakness? Hmm. I’m thinking about that. I basically just trade my thing and what I have an edge in.
Totally threw me of with that one. The confidence. I admire that no doubt. Who is one person/academy you think Neophyte or everyone should follow and why?
Definitely—Cue banks. Following him on Instagram would give you valid reason not to quit.
Enoch In Trade environment and Work history
“Take a cue from cue”—I’ll do anything to interview him. He’s indeed a great trader. How would you describe your ideal work environment?
Love trading alone. So just me and my screens with—UK Drills music playing in the back ground.
The lone wolf. Tell me about a time you disagreed with a decision. A time you didn’t follow your trading plan. What did you do?
Took out my SL, I didn’t want to get stopped out because, it was a fundamental market on BTCUSD, short story, lost over 85% when I got back.
Ouch! What was your salary in your last job before forex? Was leaving it for forex worth it and why?
I’ve never worked a job. I was barely 16 when I started Forex.
Right. Makes sense—What are your trading aspirations? I know many trade for “financial freedom” but what happens when that’s achieved? What do you plan on doing with trading?
Plan on putting young boy and girls on this grind. I know what it feels like earning above average.
Enoch Talks Trading Psychology
Great plan. What keeps you sane? Cos’ I won’t lie trading can stress you out and some even get depressed. So how do you overcome this.
You know, I feel people risk money which they basically can afford to lose. Like I say, everyone needs to have a passive source of income to fund their trading accounts. That way, you stress-less after losses because it’s OPM (other people’s money). I leverage on OPM a lot, that way I don’t have to beat myself up after losses.
Other people’s cash. Hmm, That requires trust though. However, this may sound “cliché” but why forex? What is your major reason for choosing forex?
Personally, I got caught up with the lifestyle, but as a kid, I loved exploring. I had always wanted to test out everything, new gadget and stuffs I see. That way, I knew I could afford this when I make literally free money, that’s why I’m still trading; love giving major portions of my withdrawals.
Who doesn’t love a giver? Do you trade for any proprietary firm? If yes, which one and how is it going?
No, But FTMO is looking nice haha.
What would you consider to be your biggest forex achievement? Tell me about a forex accomplishment you are most proud of.
Being able to pay my mom weekly. Paying her more than her salary is a flex for me at 18. I’m also proud of being able to afford my trading gadgets without anyone’s assistance, fully funded by me and the markets. Good flex too. Also surprising my cousins with quite expensive gifts on their birthdays.
Aww. That’s really nice. Indeed a big flex for a trader your age. Okay Baz, Let’s visualize now. So what would you want your forex dream to be like (in details).
Inner circle for billionaire traders with the dope garages and cribs. That’s enough.
Enoch In The Business Of trading
Do you keep a journal? If yes, what does it consist of?
No journals. Just Notepads with Risk calculations.
Oh, okay. When you’re not trading, what are you doing?
On YouTube watching pranks and skits. I don’t watch movies longer than 15mins or I’m working on my “Social Media Management” site (SMM).
That interesting an weird. What would say is your “win-rate” and what really drives results in your trading?
Haven’t really had time to know my win-rate. But 78%- 82% is reasonable, because I rarely over trade. Haha! My Risk management is key, that’s my major sauce in trading. With my style of risk management, 38% win rate is still Profitable. I love hopping on high-rewarding trades.
Well, you ain’t lying. Listen, I think psychology is one of the most important if not the most important part of trading. So, that’s why I’m laying emphasis on it. What are your trading rituals and how has it helped your trading?
Pray, plan my trades and trade my plan. That way, I worry less because I’ve literally done the easiest things which are the most important things too.
Trading inspiration
Who or what inspired you to start trading? If you have a mentor, what’s their name and what about that individual inspired you?
I got inspired by Inyang Jude “Forex bae”. My cousin showed me his picture back in 2018. He was literally the first trader I saw from Nigeria. I’m grateful for the inspiration! Another mentor I have is MomoForex. His lifestyle is simple and that’s me.
Yeah. I actually love Nick Shawn. I believe he was a mentor to Momo—drop a forex secret you feel should be shared and no-one talks about.
How much are you risking on this trade? if you can’t answer that before taking the trade, don’t trade. Because I feel most people get surprised by how much they lose on a trade. They lack the background idea of how much they should be risking.
Interesting. How long do you plan on trading forex and Where do you see yourself in five years with forex?
Till forever. Let’s wait
Enoch and trading strengths
What are you biggest strengths in forex and What’s one thing you think you are very good at in forex?
That will be, determining market directions in the long run.
Nice. We have the Neophytes trooping in the industry. What’s your advice to them and what would you recommend they start with?
Knowledge first. You’re here for a long run. “Do what is right and cash will flow”
You hear that, it’s always the knowledge first. How do you handle pressure, impatience, fear, doubt and greed in forex?
I only experience doubt. If you’re doubting a trade, it’s best not to take that trade. And if you’re in a trade already and you doubting, it’s safer to close or move your Stop-loss very tight to curb losses.
Tell me about the toughest decision you had to make in the last six months. Was it a trading decision? If yes, tell me how you handled the situation.
Leaving a MLM company (best decision). I left this company that offered to help my trading journey. But it was clear BS! Full of fake traders and lifestyle. I was earning 3 figures for two months. My journey skyrocketed after I took the bold step to leave that company and start trading Full-time. Grateful for the growth now.
You calling MLM out like that, makes me want to ask further but, I WON’T PRY. Tell me how you think other people would describe you. What do you want to be remembered for in the industry?
Don’t really care of how anyone would describe me, Everyone has various opinions. I want to be remembered for the impact.
Trading traits
Straight-forward. Like that… What are traits do you have that keeps you successful?
Fearless. I take calculated risk always I involve myself in profitable relationships.
I know this particular question may sound weird. The reason asked is because as humans we have the whole “act now, think later” thingy going on even when it’s not the right thing to do. So, do you have a trading “guilty pleasure”? If “yes” what is it and how do you handle it when it happens?
Heh, FOMO “Fear Of Missing Out” from cryptos, If you don’t ignore the internet noise these days, you tend to hop on trends due to the hype and find yourself getting screwed up after.
I can hugely relate. We all talk about trading psychology, what can you say about that? Good question Baz. What is your go-to strategy? I would also love that you explain why that is your go-to. Do you have a major reason why you chose that strategy and how it has helped sharpen your trading.
Why beat yourself up when you were not comfortable risking such amount of money? That’s the major thing I can say. Always going to be: zone to zone. I spend two minutes analyzing a trade that would be take a regular trader hours. Yeah, it helped me create more time to do other important thongs.
Final words from Enoch
What’s your take on Neophytes that want to learn forex? Do you prefer they paid for the knowledge or stick with YouTube videos and free materials?
This question. First of all, there are two ways to acquire knowledge. By Discovering or Duplicating. These two approaches require different sacrifices. Time or money. When Discovering, You spend time in search of knowledge, absorbing but important & less important stuff. As time goes on when trading, you’ll find out you have a lot of things to unlearn cos they’re literally useless. That way, you spend another precious time trying to focus on the main sauce. For Duplication, you meet a “Guru” Mentor, who’s been in the game for a while, this way you don’t have to pass through the process of sourcing for a scheme. This guru puts you on what’s needed in the market and that way, you’re starting the major aspect of the market with enough time to execute Knowledge gained (while someone discovering is still trying to unlearn some things) either way, experience is important.

BTC bullish on HTFBitcoin and most of the other major coins in the top 10 started the 2022 slightly in the red, with no clear directional bias as the volumes are still thin after Xmas and NY holiday. The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is hovering around $47,000 atm.
Bitcoin is trading with some bearish pressure on LTF, but still above crucial $46,000 support. A break below would push the price to $43,500, while a break above would take the price up to $49,000 and $53,600; my targets for now. I'm simply waiting for directional bias and have a neutral stance atm. A fall to $43,000 would change nothing in the big picture, but would create an even more impulsive move to the upside.
On HTF it has been trending up with higher lows (HH), where the most previous low was in late September, while the last low was in mid-December. Every time BTC forms the low it also creates a falling wedge pattern with a breakout before the next leg up. I think it will do the same this time, but we need to stay patient and wait for the price to break to the upside to open a long position. I'm bullish on the overall market and I think we will have another leg up, before some larger correction.
ETH in channel and inside of falling wedgeEthereum is moving inside of falling wedge and between range of $3550 and $3960 on daily chart. ETHBTC pair is moving slightly bullish and needs to remain bullish in order to for ETH to breakout above the wedge pattern. The move should be impulsive but also Bitcoin needs to stay in range or bullish at the same time.
Read my post about Ethereum and Bitcoin movement. ETH is stronger than BTC and it is outperforming big brother.
On the LTF the chart is having some volatility, but moving bullish in channel. We need to wait for breakout to take long position. Above $3,960 Ethereum will gain speed and move bullish.
DYDX moving bullish after long timeDYDX seems to bottom out. It closed bullish in weekly chart after 11 weeks. It closed bullish on daily chart as well and even made a break from the smaller falling wedge (red dotted line). The price is now trading above 13 and 20 MA and closing the gap to larger falling wedge – break above would trigger very bullish move (yellow dotted line). DYDX has lots of potential on the upside. My targets; TP1 $11.5, TP2 $15, TP3 19.2, TP4 $23.6; SL under 7.1 - small chance.
Moonriver trade idea - LONGMoonriver touched the lower support area and started to move bullish. On daily chart the price is trading above 13 and 20 MA, RSI momentum indicator is picking up and closing to the 50 level, MACD is also showing upward movement. My targets for MOVR; TP1 $235, $292, $468; SL $170. Price must stay above MA on daily chart.
DOT is deeply undervaluedPolkadot price is bottoming out around $25 and its showing signs of turning bullish. RSI indicator is starting to rise from the oversold levels as bulls strongly defend the support zone. The price is down some 50% from all-time high reached in November and has lots of room to grow. This is a good area to accumulate positions. Don't forget DOT has staking option.
Bullish news on DOT ->
Deutsche Telekom AG subsidiary – T-Systems Multimedia Solutions (MMS) has bought an undisclosed amount of Polkadot (DOT) tokens in latest blockchain push. MMS is not new to the world of blockchain technology as DOT has become the fourth blockchain that the German telecommunications giant has added to its list.
LINK on long term trendlineLINK is moving on long term trendline which proved to be strong in the past. Above $20 level, LINK should get more strength, opposite, below trendline, the price will turn bearish. It is trading from oversold position, which is good entry point for accumulation. RSI momentum indicator is rising and closing on 50 level, indicating bulls are gaining on strength. MACD is also picking up, although still in negative territory. Intraday chart is still choppy and I’m waiting for a breakout on which I will take long position.
