BTC Hourly Analysis – Day 1 | Trend Structure & Key Reactions⏱️ We’re analyzing Bitcoin on the 1-hour timeframe.
👀 After breaking below its support zone at 107,402, Bitcoin experienced a correction along with increasing sell pressure. The price then moved toward the 112,200 support area, where it formed a V-pattern — which has now been broken to the upside.
🎮 We’re using Fibonacci levels to identify key resistance zones and long-entry triggers. A higher low has formed above the 112,217 support and above the 0.382 Fib level, which could serve as a strong confirmation of the breakout .
⚙️ The RSI oscillator on the 1H chart is currently above 50. If buying volume increases, RSI may enter the Overbought zone. The critical level here is 70 — breaking above it can act as a confirmation for a long position .
☄️ A specific Fibonacci-based zone, linked to market maker sellers and supply pressure, was touched, triggering a reaction — around 177 BTC were sold following that touch .
🖥 Summary : As long as Bitcoin stays above its previous high, there’s no immediate concern for long positions. Based on the confirmations above, you may consider entering a long position upon a resistance breakout and taker-seller zone clearance .
📉 No short positions are planned until the 110,000 support level is clearly broken .

TradeCityPro | Bitcoin Daily Analysis #144👋 Welcome to TradeCity Pro!
Let’s dive into Bitcoin analysis. Today is the first day of the week and Bitcoin has made a bullish move.
⏳ 4-Hour Timeframe
After the weekly candle closed, Bitcoin made an upward move and pulled back up to the 0.5 Fibonacci zone.
✔️ The long trigger I provided yesterday in the 1-Hour timeframe has been activated. If you opened a short-term position, it has likely already hit the target. If it was a long-term position with a larger stop, then it should still be open for now.
💫 The current 4-Hour candle has wicked into the 0.5 Fibonacci zone, which indicates a strong rejection from this area. If the candle closes red, the probability of starting the next bearish wave will increase significantly.
📊 Besides the resistance from the Fibonacci level, the SMA25 is also overlapping with this zone, so this upward move could also be seen as a pullback to the SMA25 before another drop begins.
✨ However, the candle hasn't closed yet, so it's too early to decide anything. In my opinion, Bitcoin has re-entered a choppy and sideways phase that doesn’t provide good and clean positions — most trades like yesterday’s need to be scalps.
🔍 If a deeper correction happens, our lower support levels are already identified (with the most important one being the 110000 zone). For shorts, I’ll look for entries below 110000. As for longs, I’ll wait for confirmation and stabilization above 116000. For now, I’m only observing this box between 110000 and 116000.

Will a Drop Below 4.12 Push BTC to New Highs ?👋 Hello, and welcome to Satoshi Frame .
📊 USDT Dominance , after a sharp move toward 6% , got rejected strongly from that level with a powerful candle .
🔻 Following that , it lost its key support and entered a deep corrective phase .
🚀 During this period, Bitcoin and altcoins experienced a strong upward trend , and 🟠 Bitcoin even recorded a new all-time high .
📉 The key support level for USDT Dominance is at 4.12% .
⚠️ If this level is broken, Bitcoin could potentially reach a new all-time high again .
📐 I’ve drawn my Fibonacci from the point where the support was lost , the structure broke , and the previous uptrend turned into a corrective or bearish trend .
🔽 The breakdown of that key support pushed USDT Dominance down to 4.12% , where we saw strong buying pressure in Bitcoin and altcoins, leading to a sharp upward movement.
🔄 Price then retraced to the 0.382 Fibonacci level (4.61%) , acting as a corrective pullback within the ongoing downtrend.
❌ However , this area triggered a rejection , and now we are witnessing another decline in USDT Dominance.

Crude Oil Update
OPEC+ V8 members have announced an additional 547K bpd unwinding of voluntary cuts. Notably, crude prices have not reacted significantly to the expected OPEC+ figures. As we’ve previously highlighted, the market's focus remains firmly on demand-side factors. Despite geopolitical shocks, trade tensions, and recession concerns, crude oil prices have remained relatively stable—trading within a consistent range for over two and a half years since August 2022. According to Amena Bakr at Kpler, the V8 will meet again on September 7th to potentially reassess the reinstatement of 1.65 million bpd of cuts, currently scheduled to remain in place until the end of 2026.
Earnings Recap
With over half of S&P 500 companies having reported Q2 earnings, YoY earnings growth is now projected at 9.8%, compared to the 5.8% estimate as of July 1, per LSEG data cited by Reuters. More than 80% of reporting companies have surpassed analyst profit expectations—well above the 76% average from the past four quarters.
Macro Outlook
Fed Vice Chair Williams provided further insight into the central bank’s posture ahead of the September FOMC meeting, stating he remains open-minded but continues to believe that modestly restrictive policy is warranted. Williams also emphasized that the notable downward revisions to May and June payrolls were the key takeaway from Friday’s jobs report, reinforcing the theme of softening labor market momentum.
In addition, the Fed announced on Friday that Governor Lisa Cook will resign from the Board effective August 8. A replacement is expected to be named in the coming days, though it is not anticipated to materially alter the policy outlook in the near term.
Looking ahead, if both inflation and unemployment tick higher between now and the September FOMC meeting, it would represent a worst-case scenario for the Fed. The August NFP report due on the first Friday of September and July and August 2025 inflation reports are key data points to monitor before the next FOMC Meeting on September 17th, 2025.
Although equity futures sold off on Friday following a disappointing jobs report, market pricing has adjusted notably. Participants now expect the Fed to deliver three rate cuts in 2025 and two cuts of 25bps each in 2026. This marks a shift from pre-NFP expectations of two cuts in 2025 and three cuts in 2026, per CME FedWatch Tool.
Market Implications:
On the back of rate cut expectations, in our analysis, this may help sustain upside in the equities complex. Although, it may be prudent to adjust portfolio and re-balance strategically according to sectors that may continue to outperform namely tech, AI, defense stocks, commodities and USD per our analysis.

NeoWave Alert: BTC G-Wave Sets Up a Brutal Drop After $116K PumpAs anticipated in our previous NeoWave analysis, the market appears to be deep within Wave G of a Contracting Diametric structure (A–G), originating from the March 2025 high.
⸻
🔻 Key Developments:
• After rejecting from $119,000–119,500 (Wave F resistance), price dipped to $112,000, breaking below the previous channel’s lower bound, and now appears to be forming a steeper descending channel.
• This new channel’s resistance has shifted lower to $116,000, becoming a potential bull trap zone.
• The bounce from $112K is likely a liquidity sweep, preparing for one final upside to $116K, followed by aggressive distribution.
⸻
💡 Trading Thesis:
We’re likely seeing a trap-style rally within Wave G, aiming to:
• Attract liquidity up to $116K
• Induce late longs before initiating a more violent selloff toward $105K or lower
⸻
🔍 Smart Money Confluence (SMC / ICT)
• 🟥 Confirmed bearish structure on 1H (Lower Highs + BOS)
• 🟨 Liquidity above $120K already swept during Wave F
• 📉 Order blocks around 119.5K rejected
• 🔻 Price currently trades above $114K, but trapped inside a sharper descending range
• 🧲 Unfilled FVGs between $113K–$110K may serve as magnets
⸻
🧠 Wave G Structure (Diametric)
• Possibly unfolding as a Zigzag or Complex Combination
• Channel boundary now capped at $116K
• Wave G likely targets a breakdown below Wave E ($113K) and toward $105K
⸻
📌 Primary Scenario:
• Final push to $116K → strong rejection expected
• Bearish continuation targeting $110K → $105K
🧯 Invalidations:
• Clean breakout & daily close above $120.5K invalidates this diametric structure
• Watch for triangle or flat morphing if structure shifts
⸻
⚠️ Risk Management:
• $116K = key distribution zone
• Watch closely for rejection and breakdown confirmation
• Shorts valid below $114K with tight invalidation above $117K
⸻
📌 Conclusion:
Bitcoin is nearing the climax of a multi-month complex correction. The current setup favors a liquidity trap toward $116K, followed by continuation of Wave G toward major demand zones. Smart money bias remains bearish below $117K.

TradeCityPro | Bitcoin Daily Analysis #143👋 Welcome to TradeCity Pro!
Let’s dive into the Bitcoin analysis. Today, the weekly candle will close and the market will return to its normal condition starting tomorrow. It’s very important to have a solid analysis today so we can make profits in the upcoming week.
⏳ 4-Hour Timeframe
Yesterday, Bitcoin had another short drop and wicked down to around the 111747 zone, but then returned above the 0.618 Fibonacci level.
💥 Even from this timeframe, it’s clear that a long trigger has formed on lower timeframes, and it seems like a V-pattern is being formed, which we’ll analyze in the lower timeframes.
📊 If the market activates the long trigger today, I’ll try to enter so I don’t miss out in case a bullish move starts with the new weekly candle and I can have an open position.
✔️ The RSI oscillator also entered the oversold zone yesterday and exited it. Since Bitcoin is still above the 110000 zone, I still view the trend as bullish. So this double bottom that formed on the RSI is a very good sign for bullish momentum in the market.
⏳ 1-Hour Timeframe
In the 1-Hour timeframe, we had a short trigger at the 114560 zone in the previous analysis, which was activated and the price moved down. I had mentioned in that analysis that I wouldn’t open a short position with this trigger, and I didn’t.
🔽 Now the position of that trigger has shifted and moved to the 114028 zone. Today I’m watching the market closely, and if the price moves up toward this trigger with increasing volume, I’ll open a long position if 114028 breaks.
🔍 This is one of those positions where you can use either a small or large stop loss. If you go with a larger stop, you can ride the next bullish leg that may push the price back toward the 120000 zone. But if you go with a smaller stop, it becomes a short-term trade that will be closed with smaller risk-to-reward ratios.
📈 Personally, I prefer to go with a larger stop loss so that if Bitcoin starts another bullish leg, I can have a well-positioned entry. (Just make sure to practice proper risk management — I personally won’t risk more than 0.25% on this position since the main momentum hasn’t entered yet.)
💫 As for short positions, I won’t provide any triggers for now because I’m not opening shorts myself, and if you open one, I won’t be able to guide you on what to do with it.

DOW THEORYBack to the Roots: Learn the Theory, Improve Signal
Charles Dow
Before we explore Dow Theory, let’s take a moment to understand who Charles Dow was — and why his ideas still matter today.
Charles Dow wasn’t a financial expert. He was a journalist with a sharp eye for market behavior. In the late 1800s, he began to write about how prices move, how trends form, and what they might mean. His goal was simple: to bring structure and logic to the chaotic world of stock prices.
More importantly, he believed that markets move in trends , and that these trends reflect the collective psychology of all investors. This basic idea became the starting point of technical analysis .
Dow created one of the first stock indexes, which helped investors see the bigger picture instead of focusing only on individual stocks. He also promoted transparency in financial data — long before it was required by law.
In 1889, Dow co-founded The Wall Street Journal, a newspaper that became the voice of financial markets. Through its pages, he published his observations on price behavior, setting the foundation for what would later be known as Dow Theory .
Dow Theory
At the heart of Dow Theory lies a simple but powerful idea:
The market discounts everything.
This means that all known information — earnings reports, interest rates, economic events, political changes, and even future expectations — is already reflected in the price. Price is not random. It is the result of collective investor behavior based on all available knowledge.
Charles Dow didn’t write this exact sentence, but his work clearly reflected this belief. He trusted that by analyzing price movements alone, one could understand the overall direction of the market — because price already includes all the important signals.
Dow and later analysts outlined a set of guiding principles. These are now known as the Six Core Principles of Dow Theory , and they continue to serve as a foundation for modern technical analysis.
The market discounts everything
The market moves in three trends
Major trends have three phases
Averages must confirm each other
Volume confirms the trend
A trend stays in place until it clearly reverses
🔸🔸🔸 The Market Moves in Three Trends 🔸🔸🔸
According to Dow Theory, market movements are not random. Prices move in three different dimensions and time frames: the primary trend , the secondary trend , and the minor (short-term) trend. These three types of movement often occur at the same time. It is very important for an investor to distinguish between them.
The primary trend shows the general direction of the market and can last for months or even years. It’s the major upward or downward movement.
The secondary trend refers to corrections or pullbacks that move in the opposite direction of the primary trend.
The minor trend typically consists of daily or weekly fluctuations and is often considered market “noise.” These short-term movements can occur in the same or opposite direction of the primary trend and may last from a few hours to two or three weeks.
Dow Theory emphasizes that understanding this three-layered structure can protect investors from many mistakes. The theory not only classifies trends but also offers valuable lessons about investor behavior.
It especially highlights the importance of three key principles:
Don’t go against the main trend
Short-term moves can easily confuse traders. Trading against the primary trend often leads to losses. That is why it is crucial to identify the main trend and follow it.
Diversify your exposure
In Dow’s time, technology wasn’t as advanced as it is today, but he still followed multiple indexes (like industrials and transport) to reduce risk. The same principle applies today: investors shouldn’t rely on a single asset — diversification remains a critical part of managing risk.
Define your holding period before entering a trade
Each type of trend comes with a different time expectation. The holding period you choose will play a key role in shaping your trading strategy and aligning it with your financial goals. Instead of debating how long each type of trend should last, it’s more important to define your intended holding period before entering a position.
Your answer to the question “Which holding period suits me?” reflects not only your trading style and lifestyle, but also determines which chart timeframes and indicator timeframes you should use.
🔸🔸🔸 Major Trends Have Three Phases 🔸🔸🔸
According to Dow Theory, major (primary) trends consist of three phases. This structure reflects how investor psychology changes over time and how those emotions are reflected in price action. Regardless of whether the trend is bullish or bearish, each major trend includes these three stages:
Accumulation Phase
The first stage of a bull market often looks like a small bounce during a bear trend. Most people still feel negative about the market. They are afraid to buy again after losing money. Trading volume is low, and prices move in a narrow range. The market stops making new lows, but investors are still unsure. Many have left the market or are very careful now. The price action becomes slow and sideways. It feels boring. But during this quiet time, smart investors slowly start buying. This is how a new trend begins — silently and with doubt.
However, there is no clear signal that a bull market has started. Buying now carries two big risks. First, the market may still go lower. Second, even if a bull trend is coming, no one knows when it will start. How long can you wait while the market does nothing? Holding positions in a flat market has costs — financial, emotional, and missed opportunities elsewhere. That’s why this phase is difficult for most traders to handle.
Public Participation Phase
The market begins to recover, and the broader investor base starts to notice positive changes. News improves, technical indicators give bullish signals. Prices rise, and trading volume increases. This is usually the strongest part of the trend. At this stage, more disciplined and research-driven investors — who follow the market closely — start buying in. They see confirmation in both price action and economic data. Their confidence supports the trend, and momentum grows. The market attracts more attention. Confidence replaces fear. Many investors who stayed out during the earlier phase now feel safer to enter.
Joining the market during this phase is important. The trend is already underway, but there’s still room to grow. Risk is lower than in the early phase, and potential rewards are still high. For many investors, this is the best time to take a position.
Excess Phase
The market enters a phase of excessive optimism. Prices have been rising for a long time, attracting more and more participants. However, during this stage, institutional investors and professional traders who entered earlier begin to gradually take profits.
Although prices remain high, momentum weakens, and the rate of increase slows down. Looking at the volume profile, prices may reach new highs but often without volume support. Technical indicators frequently show bearish divergences. These conditions generate early technical signals that the primary trend may be coming to an end.
🔸🔸🔸 Averages must Confirm Each Other 🔸🔸🔸
According to Dow Theory, a market trend is considered valid only when different indexes move in the same direction. The term “average” here refers to an index or the general direction of a price series. This principle is used to assess whether a price movement is supported by broad market participation.
A single index reaching a new high or low is not enough. For a real and sustainable trend to be confirmed, related indexes are expected to show similar movement and generate signals in the same direction. If this confirmation is missing, the current move may be considered weak or temporary.
How to Analyze It:
Identify related indexes
Choose multiple indexes that represent the same market, sector, or economic domain.
Compare trend direction
Review the price structures of the selected indexes. Are they all showing similar patterns? Did the new highs or lows form around the same time?
Look for confirmation
If multiple indexes form new structures in the same direction (e.g., all make new highs in an uptrend), this increases the validity of the trend. If only one index is moving while others are not participating, confirmation is lacking.
Be cautious without confirmation
When confirmation is missing, trading strategies should be more conservative, or additional signals should be awaited before taking action.
🔸🔸🔸 Volume Confirms the Trend 🔸🔸🔸
According to Dow Theory, the validity of a market trend depends not only on price movement but also on trading volume. For a trend to be considered strong and sustainable, price action should be supported by volume.
Why Is Volume Important?
In a rising market, increasing volume is expected. This indicates growing investor interest and broader participation in the trend.
In a falling market, if the decline happens with high volume, it suggests serious selling pressure and strengthens the trend.
Declining volume may signal a loss of momentum and suggest that the current trend is weakening or nearing its end.
How to Analyze It:
Observe the relationship between price and volume:
Price rising + volume increasing → Strong trend
Price rising + volume decreasing → Lack of confirmation; caution is advised
Check volume during breakouts:
If resistance or highs are broken with strong volume → Reliable signal
If breakouts happen on low volume → May indicate a false move (fakeout)
🔸🔸🔸 A Trend Persists Until a Clear Reversal Occurs 🔸🔸🔸
This core principle of Dow Theory is at the heart of all trend-following strategies.
It states that once a price begins moving in a certain direction, the trend is assumed to continue — until there is clear and technically confirmed evidence that it has ended.
Why Is This Principle Important?
Follow, don’t predict
Instead of guessing what the market will do next, traders stay with the current direction.
Reduces emotional decisions
Trades are based on technical signals, not assumptions like “the price is too high, it must fall.”
A weak trend is not the same as a reversal
Not every pullback means the trend is over. You need clear confirmation before assuming a reversal — such as a breakdown, volume shift, momentum loss, or structural change.
How to Apply It
First, identify the trend direction clearly, and trade in that direction.
Pullbacks are seen as normal movements within the trend — not as reversals.
Even when signs of a reversal appear, wait for confirmation before acting.
Confirmation signals may include:
Failure to form new highs or lows
A break of previous support or resistance
Sudden drop in volume or volume rising in the opposite direction
Weakness or divergence in momentum indicators
Strategic Benefit
This principle is especially useful in trend-following strategies. It helps avoid premature exits and allows traders to stay in profitable trends longer. By focusing on technical confirmation instead of speculation or panic, it encourages disciplined and systematic decision-making.
GOLD 1H: Fibo speaks louder than words - $3365 in focusGold is testing the upper zone near $3362–3365, which is just above the 0.5 Fibonacci level ($3353) from the previous impulse. The price has already bounced from the top of the channel, indicating potential exhaustion of the current upward move.
Technicals:
- MA50 and MA200 are below the price — bullish trend intact
- RSI is cooling down from overbought territory
- Fibo 0.5 ($3353) was breached, but no clear confirmation yet
- Channel resistance remains unbroken
Plan:
- If price rejects $3365, targets are $3340 and $3314
- If price holds above $3365, next move could be toward $3377+
- EMA structure supports further upside, but caution is needed at this zone
Gold isn’t shouting - it’s whispering key levels. Listen closely.

TradeCityPro | Bitcoin Daily Analysis #142👋 Welcome to TradeCity Pro!
Let's get into the Bitcoin analysis. Yesterday, Bitcoin continued its correction and we need to see what is going to happen in the market today.
📅 Daily Timeframe
First, let’s take a look at the higher timeframe. On the daily chart, that curved upward trendline we had was broken by yesterday's candle, and the breakout candle had high volume.
✔️ For now, I don’t consider this trendline as broken and I’m waiting to get confirmation of the break.
🔍 Currently, the price is in a correction phase, and this correction is quite natural since the price had very low volatility for a long time and was stuck below the 120000 zone.
💥 But no trend reversal has occurred yet. In my opinion, as long as the price is above the 110000 zone, the trend is bullish, and I will consider the trend reversal confirmed only if a lower high and a lower low below 110000 are formed.
⏳ 4-Hour Timeframe
Yesterday, the corrective movement of the price continued, and after a pause at the 0.5 Fibonacci level, another bearish leg formed down to the 0.618 zone.
🔔 The RSI oscillator also entered the oversold area and then exited it again. I believe there’s a high possibility that until the end of the week, Bitcoin will range in these areas and the probability of a bullish or bearish move is much lower.
🔽 However, if the 0.618 Fibonacci level breaks, the price can move to lower areas like the 111000 zone. I think the likelihood of this happening in the future is high because that zone is a strong PRZ, and at the same time, it counts as a pullback to the 110000 zone.
📈 In the bullish scenario, if the price is supported from this area and starts to move upward, since we currently have no highs below the 116000 zone, we need to wait until the first bullish leg is formed and then enter on the second leg after the new high is broken.
⚡️ For now, I’m not opening any short or long positions. I prefer the price to form more structure so I can make a more comfortable decision.

Finally, these triggers reflect my personal opinions on price action, and the market may move completely against this analysis. So, do your own research before opening any position.
AUDJPY: goodbye uptrend? On the 4H chart, AUDJPY has printed a textbook double top pattern, breaking the rising trendline and diving below the 95.6–95.78 support zone - now acting as resistance. The pair is currently retesting this zone from below, which often provides a clean re-entry point for bears.
This area also aligns with the 0.705–0.79 Fibonacci retracement, reinforcing it as a key resistance. If the price rejects this zone, the next target is 93.85 (1.618 Fibo projection), followed by 93.25 and potentially 91.71 if momentum strengthens.
Fundamentally, the yen gains strength on risk-off flows and diverging rate expectations, while the Australian dollar is pressured by falling commodity prices and a likely pause from the RBA. This widens the rate differential and weakens AUD.
As long as price remains below 95.78, sellers are in control. Watch for a rejection from this retest zone.
AAVE Daily Chart – Key Buy Zone & Two ScenariosAAVE is currently moving within a well-defined ascending channel on the daily timeframe. The last major bullish leg began from the $120 support and surged nearly +180% to a local high near $330.
Now, after a 25% pullback, price is consolidating around the midline of the channel near $250. More importantly, there’s a strong bullish order block sitting between $220–230, making this a low-risk buy zone with a stop below the order block.
🔸 Scenario 1 (bullish preferred):
Price dips into the $220 OB zone, completes a possible ABC correction, and launches a new bullish leg targeting the channel top above $500.
🔸 Scenario 2 (bearish alternate):
If the $220 order block fails, deeper correction could follow toward the channel bottom near $135.
⏳ This is a critical area to watch for reaction – Smart Money will likely show its hand soon.
🔗 Analysis by CryptoPilot
Long-Term Technical Outlook: Critical Decision Point Approaching
The chart illustrates a long-term technical structure where the price has been following an ascending channel after a prolonged bearish trend. However, recent price action indicates a breakdown below the green ascending trendline, raising concerns about a potential shift in market sentiment.
Currently, the $117 level is acting as a pivotal support zone. A sustained breakdown below this level — and more critically, below the red lower trendline — would validate the bearish scenario. This could trigger a deeper correction phase, with downside targets aligned along the red projection path. Such a move may lead to significantly lower price levels in the medium to long term.
🔽 Bearish Scenario:
If the price fails to hold above $117 and breaks below the red trendline, this would confirm the start of a bearish leg. Based on historical structure and projected trajectories, this could result in a descent toward the $93 level initially, with the possibility of extending further downward depending on market conditions.
🔼 Bullish Scenario:
On the other hand, if the price manages to reclaim the green trendline and more importantly, stabilize above the $204 resistance zone, it would signal renewed bullish strength. Such a move would open the path toward higher highs, potentially re-entering the previous upward channel and continuing the macro uptrend.
🧭 The price structure is now approaching a decisive zone, where either a confirmation of bearish continuation or a bullish recovery will likely unfold. Both scenarios have been visually outlined — green lines indicating bullish continuation, and red lines representing bearish momentum.

GOLD TRADING PLAN – Triangle Squeeze, All Eyes on NFP【XAU/USD】GOLD TRADING PLAN – Triangle Squeeze, All Eyes on NFP
Gold continues to trade within a large symmetrical triangle, tightening toward the end of its range. However, current candle structure shows clear bullish momentum, indicating the potential for a strong upside breakout.
🔍 Today’s Key Focus: Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP)
Market expectations are pointing to weaker-than-expected US economic data, which could trigger strong FOMO-buying for gold if confirmed. A poor NFP report would likely weaken the USD, supporting bullish continuation.
🔑 Strategy and Key Technical Levels:

Happy Friday, folks!
Today is the first Friday of August, and that means the highly anticipated Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) numbers came in at 7.30 am CT.
US Non-Farm Payrolls (Jul) 73.0k vs. Exp. 110.0k (Prev. 147.0k, Rev. 14k); two-month net revisions: -258k (prev. +16k).
Other key labor market indicators were as follows:
• US Unemployment Rate (Jul) 4.2% vs. Exp. 4.2% (Prev. 4.1%)
• US Average Earnings MM (Jul) 0.3% vs. Exp. 0.3% (Prev. 0.2%)
• US Average Earnings YY (Jul) 3.9% vs. Exp. 3.8% (Prev. 3.7%, Rev. 3.8%)
• US Labor Force Particle (Jul) 62.2% (Prev. 62.3%)
Data and Key Events Recap:
What a year this week has been! It's been packed with high-impact economic data and pivotal central bank decisions, especially from the Federal Reserve. On top of that, trade and tariff announcements have dominated the headline.
U.S. economic data this week was broadly strong. Second-quarter GDP came in at 3.0%, beating expectations and signaling solid growth. The ADP employment report also surprised to the upside, printing 104K vs. the 77K forecast. Consumer confidence showed resilience as well, with the Conference Board’s reading rising to 97.2.
Inflation data was mixed but mostly in line. Core PCE for June rose 0.3% MoM, while the YoY reading ticked up to 2.8%, slightly above the expected 2.7%. The broader PCE Price Index also came in at 0.3% MoM, with a YoY print of 2.6%, slightly higher than forecast.
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) voted to keep the federal funds rate target range unchanged at 4.25% – 4.50%. Notably, Governors Waller and Bowman dissented, favoring a 25-basis-point rate cut as expected, however, marking the first dual dissent by governors since 1993.
Changes to the FOMC Statement included a downgraded assessment of economic growth, reflecting slower real consumer spending. The Committee reiterated that uncertainty around the economic outlook remains elevated. It maintained its view of the labor market as "solid" and inflation as "somewhat elevated." Forward guidance remained unchanged, emphasizing the Fed’s readiness to adjust policy as necessary while continuing to monitor risks to both sides of its dual mandate.
Here’s a summary of key points from the FOMC press conference:
• On current policy stance:
“We decided to leave our policy rate where it’s been, which I would characterize as modestly restrictive. Inflation is running a bit above 2%... even excluding tariff effects. The labor market is solid, financial conditions are accommodative, and the economy is not performing as if restrictive policy is holding it back.”
Chair Powell commented on the need to see more data to help inform Fed’s assessment of the balance of risks and appropriate Fed Funds rate.
• On labor market risks:
“By many statistics, the labor market is still in balance... You do see a slowing in job creation, but also a slowing in the supply of workers. That’s why the unemployment rate has remained roughly stable.”
• On inflation and tariffs:
“It’s possible that tariff-related inflationary effects could be short-lived, but they may also prove persistent. We’re seeing substantial tariff revenue—around $30 billion a month—starting to show up in consumer prices. Companies intend to pass it on to consumers, but many may not be able to. We’ll need to watch and learn how this unfolds over time.”
Trade Headlines:
US President Trump announced tariffs on countries ranging from 10%-41%. Average US tariff rate now at 15.2% (prev. 13.3%; 2.3% pre-Trump), according to Bloomberg. US officials said that if the US has a surplus with a country, the tariff rate is 10% and small deficit nations have a 15% tariff, US officials said they are still working out technicalities of rules of origin terms for transshipment and will implement rules of origin details in the coming weeks. No details on Russian oil import penalty. Sectoral Tariffs White House said new reciprocal tariff rates take effect on Friday. Although Canada’s tariffs were increased to 35%, excluding USMCA goods, the effective rate is only 5%.
The economic data is showing strength, on the contrary, tariffs announcements for most countries have now been announced. Investors need to consider that tariffs are not just a tool to reduce trade deficit, it is also a geopolitical tool presently being used to shape alliances. The US wants to soften BRICS, China and Russian influence on the world stage.
Key to note is that these tariffs are substantially lower than what was announced on April 2nd, 2025.
The key question now remains, do participants buy the dip or ‘sell the fact’ is the current playbook?
Market Implications
Given the prior revisions in NFP data of -258K, July’s payroll came in at 73K, missing forecasts of 110K. What does this mean for markets? Markets are now pricing in 75% chance of a September rate cut. Prior revisions along with the current job market slowing down imply that risks to the downside are substantially increasing. Fed’s current policy is not just moderately restrictive but rather it may likely tip the US into a recession if Fed Funds rates remain elevated. The Chair asked to see more data, and here it is but I do wonder why they did not take this data into account for the July meeting. Surely, it would have been available to them.
Another question to ask would be, is it due to defiance of rate cut calls by the US administration? Is the Fed already behind the curve?
Fed’s dual mandate targets inflation and maximum employment. While inflation is sticky, the Fed may need to abandon their 2% mandate in favor of average inflation of 2.5% to 3%. A less restrictive policy will provide needed stimulus along with the fiscal stimulus provided via the BBB bill.
This drastically changes, in our analysis, how investors position themselves heading into the remainder of the year.
Markets (equities) may retrace slightly but the dip in our opinion will still be the play given weaker labor market data and increased rate cut bets. The bad news here means that the Fed has the data it wants to see to start cutting. Market pricing in 2 cuts seems to be the way forward for now.
XAUUSD – Strong Bullish Reversal from Key Support XAUUSD – Strong Bullish Reversal from Key Support
Chart Summary:
Gold (XAUUSD) has shown a clear reaction from a strong support zone near 3260, suggesting bullish momentum is gaining strength. The chart highlights multiple key market structure elements and confirms the potential for a bullish move.
Technical Highlights:
🔻 Strong Support Zone (3260–3280):
Price tapped into a well-defined demand zone with historical significance, initiating a bullish response.
🔺 Resistance Zone (3460+):
A strong resistance level lies ahead. This area may act as a potential target for bulls.
🔁 Break of Structure (BOS):
Multiple BOS marks on the chart indicate trend shifts and liquidity grabs. Most recent BOS aligns with potential reversal.
💹 Bullish Fair Value Gap (FVG):
A bullish FVG near mid-structure confirms institutional interest and adds confluence to the upside move.
📈 Target: 3,366.984 USD
Marked as the next probable short-term liquidity target. If momentum sustains, price may approach resistance above this.
Price Expectation:
If the current bullish momentum holds above the strong support zone, we may see a rally towards 3,366–3,400 USD.
This move could be driven by:
Buy-side liquidity grab above prior highs
Breakout traders entering above BOS
Reaction to macroeconomic calendar (highlighted on the chart)
✅ Educational Takeaway:
This is a textbook example of:
Support-resistance flip
Liquidity concepts (Buy-Side Liquidity)
Fair Value Gaps usage
Volume Profile confluence

Let’s dive into Bitcoin analysis. Yesterday, the exact bearish scenario I told you about happened. Let’s see what opportunities the market is offering us today.
⏳ 4-Hour Timeframe
Yesterday, I mentioned that the price had tested the 116829 zone too many times and that this area had become very weak. I also said that if the price made a lower high than 120041, deeper corrections would be likely.
✔️ Another perspective I have on the market is that sometimes certain support and resistance levels simply aren’t strong enough to continue the trend.
🔑 For example, in this case — despite Bitcoin being in an uptrend across all cycles — the 116829 support couldn’t hold, and the price broke it to reach a stronger support zone, one that might be capable of continuing the trend.
📊 Right now, this is what might be happening again. Support levels like 0.5, 0.618, and 0.786 Fibonacci retracement zones could be where the next bullish leg begins.
✅ At the moment, price has reached the 0.5 Fibonacci level, and the previous strong bearish momentum has slightly weakened. If you look at the volume, momentum is still in favor of sellers, but based on the long lower wicks on the candles, we can say the bearish trend is showing signs of weakness.
💥 On the other hand, RSI is approaching 30, and in an uptrend, when RSI nears the Oversold zone, it can often be a good entry point for a long. However, we’re not acting on this yet — we’ll wait for more confirmations before opening any positions.
⭐ For now, there’s no trigger for a long position on this timeframe. A break below 115000 could act as a short trigger, but given the trend Bitcoin is in, I’m not opening any short positions at the moment.
⏳ 1-Hour Timeframe
The price has dropped down to 114560, and I believe today we might enter a corrective phase. However, if the price stabilizes below 114560, the correction could continue. The next targets would be the Fibonacci levels from the 4-hour timeframe.
🔽 I won’t open a short position with the break of 114560, and I suggest you don’t take that short either.
📈 If this move turns out to be a fakeout, the first trigger we have now is at 118736, which is quite far from the current price. For this trigger to activate, we’d need to see a V-pattern form.
🔍 There are no other triggers right now. But if more range structure forms, we might consider opening a risky long on the breakout of the range top.

TradeCityPro | Bitcoin Daily Analysis #140👋 Welcome to TradeCity Pro!
Let’s dive into the Bitcoin analysis. Yesterday, the interest rate decision by the US Federal Reserve was announced, and once again, just like the past few months, it remained unchanged. Let’s see what impact it had on Bitcoin.
⏳ 4-Hour Timeframe
In the 4-hour timeframe, after the announcement of the unchanged interest rate and Powell’s speech, Bitcoin printed a red candle on the support zone and even wicked lower, but then recovered and the price returned back into the box.
✔️ Basically, we can say that this month’s rate decision had no real impact on the market, and Bitcoin is still moving inside its range box. The fact that the support zone wasn’t lost is a positive sign for the continuation of the trend.
⭐ But the important point is this: if the uptrend is going to continue, the price must print a higher high or at least a level equal to 120041, and in my opinion, if for any reason a lower high gets printed, the chances of breaking below 116829 significantly increase.
📊 I currently have no new position on Bitcoin, and all my entries are below 110000. But if 120041 breaks, I’ll open a long position for the next bullish wave that Bitcoin might start.
💥 A major trigger for starting a new leg is the 61.67 level on the RSI. As long as RSI remains below this level, there’s no bullish momentum in the market — and considering that the number of touches to 116829 has increased, the probability of a correction is also rising.
