USDJPY | Perspective for the new week | follow-up detailsThe U.S. dollar edged lower to post a weekly loss on dovish projection from the Federal Reserve. From a technical standpoint, it is worth noting that the price has been caught within a support and resistance (142.500 and 138.000) in the last two weeks to emphasize the indecision in the market. The coming week is laced with major market-moving economic releases, both from the US and Japan; the fundamental backdrop from these events will be anticipated by participants in this market as the price remains within the identified channel which also shares a confluence with the bullish trendline on the daily timeframe hence warrants some detailed understanding of the current structure before positioning ourselves for any trading opportunity.

GBPUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-upThe US Dollar still portray the tendency of heading for some gain in the new week as Federal Reserve pushed back on market expectations for an early end to the aggressive interest rate hikes to combat inflation. From a technical standpoint, the consolidation phase characterized majorly by selling pressure from the $1.19700 area during last week's trading session might continue this week as a retracement into the either the trendline or $1.14000 area in anticipation of a continued bullish momentum is a strong possibility.

EURUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsIt was was a choppy situation for the EURUSD as price action was caught within a channel between the 1.04450 and 1.03150 level through out the course of last week's trading session. The bullish momentum that started two weeks ago was strongly resisted by sellers around the 1.03750 - a level that shares a confluence with the bearish trendline on the daily time frame. All bullish attempt at this juncture in the market appear to be negated by the bears as I am of the opinion that we might be witnessing a breakdown of the 1.03150 level to signal a retracement phase in the coming week(s).

XAGUSD | New perspective Despite been on a long term bearish momentum since the beginning of the year, the breakout of the bearish trend line on the daily timeframe a couple of weeks ago opened up the possibility of a potential reversal pattern in the coming week(s). However, since the breakout of the trendline we have noticed the appearance of a consolidation phase just above the $21.000 zone which also reflects selling pressure in the last 2 weeks.

USDJPY | Perspective for the new week | follow-up detailsUSDJPY continues to look for a support level as the price plunges to close the week at approximately a 5% loss for the Greenback. Attention will remain on the Retail Sales event as participants in this market will anticipate how price action will react to this high-impact event. From a technical standpoint, the price is at a critical level as it tests the trendline that has been guiding bullish momentum since the beginning of the year. So, patience is needed at beginning of the week as we need to see how price relates to this area before making an informed decision.

AUDUSD | New perspectiveBuoyed by a weak US dollar, the Australian Dollar keeps rallying to close the week on a bullish tone. Going into the new, all eyes shall be on the RBA meeting minutes, Unemployment Rate, and Employment change to decipher if a breakout of the 0.67000 level will happen or not.

EURUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsThis is a follow-up detail to my previous analysis where we close the week on a profitable note (see the link below for reference purposes). The US CPI weighs on the US Dollar as the EURUSD surged with about a 4% gain to close the week on a bullish tone; However, in addition to the high-priority event coming up in the new week (stated in the video), it is worth noting that price is at a critical zone (around the $1.03750 area) as it edge towards the major bearish trend line that has been guiding bearish momentum in the last 18 months. Are we going to be seeing a breakout of this trendline or is there going to be selling pressure below this trendline to incite another crash? Stay tuned in as we navigate this together in the new week.

GBPUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-upThe Pound appreciates to fresh new highs as price tested the $1.1800 area at the end of last week's trading session. Despite the UK Gross Domestic Product exhibiting a 0.2% contraction, the Pound was still able to rally approximately 5% growth in a week and this could be a result of the US CPI which slowed down to a 7.7% yearly rate in October - not too good figures for the Greenback. From a technical standpoint, we are at a critical point in the market as price action seats at the key level at the $1.1800 level; an area where we shall be waiting for signals to help make an informed decision.

EURUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsFollowing the bullish engulfing candle on Friday, the Euro has a tendency to reach new highs in the coming week only if a significant breakout of the $1.000 level happens. However, we can not ignore the possibility of a possible bearish momentum considering the fact that the price has been trading below the $1.0000 level in the last couple of months.

XAUUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsAfter scooping over 5,000 pips profit from last week's trading, the price is at a critical level as we witness buying pressure around the $1,640 level during the latter part of last week's trading session to insinuate a potential bullish momentum. In anticipation of a week laced with many high-impact events, the price of Gold price slid and extends its losses and from a fundamental perspective, this could be connected to the high US inflation. So from a technical standpoint, this video illustrates the two possible scenarios we want to be looking out for in the new to take advantage of a trading opportunity.

GBPUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsWe closed last week's trading with about 100 pips as the much anticipated $1.14000 level was finally broken by the buyers to set the tone for a bullish momentum in the coming week(s). The GBPUSD is moving higher and it's looking to go all out in the nearest future if the price can break out of the $1.1800 level. However, we can not ignore the possibility of a downturn as the price is presently consolidating below the bearish trendline identified in the daily timeframe.

USDJPY | Perspective for the new weekFollowing the buying pressure at the 147.000 zone, the greenback rallied during the latter part of last week's trading session to insinuate a potential bullish expectation in the coming week(s). The dovish rhetoric of the BoJ’s monetary policy appears to have caused a plunge which makes it uncertain to jump to any major conclusion at this juncture. However, it is worth noting that next week is laced with a series of high-impact events that participants in this market will be looking forward to in other to make an informed decision to either buy or sell.

USOil | New perspective for the week | Follow-up detailFollowing the OPEC+ decision to cut oil production 2 weeks; we have witnessed an increase in the price of crude oil. However, during last week's trading session, there was a drop in oil prices which could be a s a result of "take profit" activities and we still do not know how far the retracement move will go. It appears that the fears of recession and weak oil demand, especially in China, is outweighing the move to cut oil production at the moment, but from a technical standpoint, this video explains where to look out for buying opportunities that is likely going to be inciting the second phase of the bullish momentum that started two weeks ago.

GBPUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsThis is a follow-up video to my previous analysis on the GBPUSD where we close the week with over 300pips profit (see link below for reference purposes). Since the price tested the $1.14000 area during the latter part of last week, we observed selling pressure which gives us a clue into the strength of the sellers at this juncture in the market. Despite expecting selling opportunities in the new week, I will keep an open mind as a possible bullish continuation is very possible from this juncture in the market.

This is a follow-up video to my previous analysis where we closed the week with a profit of over 5,000 pips ( see daily commentaries in the link below for reference purposes). Gold has witnessed its worst-performing week in recent times as US Yield hit a 14-year high to close around the $1,640 zone. As we head into the new week, we are not sure if a trend continuation to the downside will be happening since there are no high-priority events that will be serving as a catalyst for price movement this week.

XAUUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsIn anticipation of the NFP result on Friday, Gold plunged to about 50% retracement of the bullish momentum that started the week but still posted a second straight weekly gain as price action evolved into a reversal pattern just around the bearish trend line identified on the daily time frame. The current structure screams a possible downtrend continuation but I am very much open to the possibility of a bullish continuation after considering the last week's activities.

USDJPY | Perspective for the new week | follow-up detailsThis is a follow-up video to my previous analysis on the USDJPY as trading activities were largely sideways during the course of last week's trading session. So, price action was caught within the 145.000 and 144.200 zone, emphasising the indecision in the market at this juncture. Though price action is still within the sell window at the psychologically important 145.000 area which was identified in my previous analysis (see the link which includes daily commentary for reference purposes), the current structure could lead either way as participants in this market anticipate NFP coming up this week.

XAUUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsGold plunges to a new two-year low below $1,640 during the course of last week's trading session to set the tone for the risk of further decline in price. As the Greenback continue to soar, I want to see how price action is going to relate to the current structure identified on the 4H timeframe before making an informed decision next week.

USDJPY | Perspective for the new week | follow-up detailsIt is worth noting that Japan has been more aggressive in jawboning the Yen in the past week and results might start trickling in the coming week.
However, from a technical standpoint, the multiple rejections of the 145.000 area in the last 7 days appear to be revealing the possibility of the selling opportunity getting ready to explode! I have been looking forward to this bias in the last couple of weeks and the breakdown of both the bullish trendline and key level at 142.500 identified on the daily timeframe this week might be the beginning of the reversal structure.

USOil | New perspective for the weekOn a weekly basis, we have witnessed how the price of oil fell for a fourth straight week to incite a risk of a further decline in price action in the coming week. However, I won't be jumping to conclusions considering the current structure as we need to look out for significant signals that will guide our actions during the new week.

USDJPY | Perspective for the new week | follow-up detailsAfter being part of the second wave of the bullish journey that began 3 months ago; the appearance of a reversal pattern on the 4H timeframe might just be a signal that selling momentum is evolving behind the scenes as we head into the new week. In this video, I shared my technical opinion and how I plan to trade the USDJPY in the coming week.

EURUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsLooking at this pair from a long-term perspective, it is easy to say that the sellers are very strong but we can not give up on the bullish potential opportunity that might be evolving after witnessing the multiple rejections of the $0.99 area in the last 3 weeks to project a certain level of strength from the bulls to resist selling pressure from this zone. So, this video illustrates in detail how I intend to trade this pair in the coming week.
