USDCAD Potential DownsidesHey Traders, in today's trading session we are monitoring USDCAD for a selling opportunity around 1.35800 zone, USDCAD is trading in a downtrend and currently is in a correction phase in which it is approaching the trend at 1.35800 support and resistance area.
Trade safe, Joe.
DXY: Some more downside is expected. Is it a buy after? The U.S. Dollar Index is on strong bearish levels on the 1D technical outlook (RSI = 36.538, MACD = -0.480, ADX = 39.006) as it is extending the Channel Down with a rejection today exactly on its top. The very same Channel Down was seen last October-December (2023) and declined by -6.25% before recovering. The buy signal was a DB (double bottom) on the 1D RSI.
Consequently we will remain bearish on DXY (TP = 99.550) and only buy after we get a clear rebound (around -6.25%) and a DB on the RSI.

Interest Rates Dropped to 5%!The fact the Federal Reserve & U.S. government cut interest rates by 50BPS, more then they were expected to, goes to show that interest rates have done MORE DAMAGE then they were suppose to, to the economy.
Now the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 50BPS, is them trying to put on a show to the public & saying “look we know the damage has been done by us, but we are trying to rectify it by making rates lower”
GET READY FOR A GLOBAL FINANCIAL & ECONOMY CRASH IN 2025!
The Global Liquidity Index is looking very interesting here. The GLI is looking very interesting at these levels. It's currently bouncing around within the Fibonacci retracement levels shown. Stocks and crypto usually perform better during times of increased liquidity for obvious reasons. Now that we are heading into a period where central banks around the world are propping up markets with freshly printed cash, we may see this index set a new high, which will be good for asset prices overall.
Good luck, and always use a stop loss!

Why the US dollar bear should tread with careThe USD saw a sharp reversal higher despite a 50bp cut, simply because the markets were positioned for a more dovish dot plot. I have argued in prior analysis the USD exposure is a bit stretched over the near-term, so perhaps shorting the USD is getting a bit stale. We also have several key markets at inflection points after a risk event. Matt Simpson takes a technical look.
GU is now Bearish! Now that we have gotten the fed rate announcement out of the way we now have a bullish Dollar. In turn making GU turn bearish. Price took out the Monthly high but still managed to close the day below it. I'm expecting price to be choppy till London session when we should get some bearish price action.
Sell EURUSD Channel Breakout (FOMC) The EUR/USD pair on the M30 timeframe presents a potential selling opportunity due to a recent downward breakout from a well-defined Channel pattern. This suggests a shift in momentum towards the downside in the coming Hours.
Key Points:
Sell Entry: Consider entering a short position around the current price of 1.1117, positioned close to the breakout level. This offers an entry point near the perceived shift in momentum.
Target Levels:
1st Support – 1.1076
2nd Support – 1.1051
Stop-Loss: To manage risk, place a stop-loss order above 1.1152. This helps limit potential losses if the price unexpectedly reverses and breaks back upwards.
