FOREX AUDUSD LONGAUDUSD appears to have formed a fakeout at the lower end of the range. This suggests that traders who entered short positions when support was broken are now either closing their positions or adding to their losing trades to avoid liquidation. This dynamic could fuel the price toward 0.64, where the 21-week exponential moving average is located.
I'm watching for the price to reach the nPOC zone. However, if the price finds support around the 21-day EMA within the next 1–2 days, I plan to enter with half of my position.

USDINR Best sell signal you can find. The USDINR pair has been rising parabolically since the late September 2024 bottom. This rise has however most likely come to an end as the 1W RSI hit the top of its 16-year Resistance Zone.
This Zone has been holding since the October 2008 High and as you can see, it has offered 7 excellent sell signals. Most of those times, the rejection hit at least the 1W MA50 (blue trend-line), so if you are looking for a long-term short trade, you can consider this.

DXY rebounding on the 1D MA50 and bottom of Channel Up.The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) has been trading within a Channel Up since the November 05 2024 Low and the break-out above the 1D MA200 (orange trend-line). Yesterday it made a new Higher Low exactly at the bottom of the Channel and shortly after breaching the 1D MA50 (blue trend-line).
This MA recovery confirms the start of the pattern's new Bullish Leg. The previous two delivered a rise of exactly +4.50%, and as such we will be looking for a similar Target at 111.650.
Note that, even though the 1D RSI resembles the May 15 2024 Low, which despite an initial rebound, it was rejected on the Lower Highs trend-line at the time, now the long-term trend has shifted to bullish as that Lower Highs trend-line turned into Support on the December 06 2024 contact.

GBPUSD: Channel Down forming a top on the 1D MA50.GBPUSD is neutral on its 1D technical outlook (RSI = 54.465, MACD = -0.003, ADX = 25.916) hitting today its 1D MA50 for the first time after October 9th 2024. By doing so, it reached the top of the 4 month Channel Down and is technically the best level to short. Attention is required as the 1D RSI broke over its 4 month Rectangle, so it may be an early bullish breakout signal, but until we close a candle over the 1D MA50, the trend is bearish and this is the most cost-effective short. The last 0.5 Fibonacci rejection (December 6th) targeted the 1.618 Fibonacci extension. This time we will aim a little higher than that (TP = 1.1950) to match the % decline of the previous bearish waves.

USDJPY - SHORT - 27/01/25 (after) This is an after to the trade idea posted 22/01/25. On that analysis, the trade was supposed to be taken on the order block but when price reached that area, it violated the initial setup.
However, a new idea formed based on these same concepts:
Price swept a high and closed below it.
Change in character to the downside.
Return to Order Block
Now looking for long opportunities.
EURUSD 1D MA50 break-out after 4 months. Major bullish signal. The EURUSD pair broke above its 1D MA50 (blue trend-line) for the first time in almost 4 months (since October 03 2024). This is a major bullish signal as not only does it stop the downtrend that started on the September 25 2024 High but it resembles the post bottom rally of the November 02 2023 and March 21 2023 1D MA50 break-outs.
The 1D RSI sequences between those fractals are identical and both previous bullish break-outs hit at least their 0.681 Fibonacci retracement levels. That is currently where the 1W MA200 (red trend-line) is trending towards, which is the major multi-year Resistance and a valid target and sell entry for swing traders.
The current rebound however faces for the first time in years a bearish trending 1D MA200 (orange trend-line), so our Target has to be on it and not exceed it. We are aiming for 1.07500.

Technical Take: USD Support in Play across Key TimeframesAccording to the US Dollar (USD) Index, the USD finished the week on the ropes, down 1.8%. Despite the growing sense that US President Trump may not live up to the hype of his pre-inauguration statements – placing a question mark on USD upside – technical studies appear to favour bulls.
Long-Term Technicals Favour Bulls
Technically speaking, I have been banging the drum for monthly resistance at 109.33 for quite some time now, which, as you can see, recently entered the fray and held ground. For anyone interested, I am a staunch advocate of yearly opening levels, and 109.33 has demonstrated a solid track record as a support and resistance – extended from as far back as 2001. However, while a notable area, several technical factors support USD bulls. This includes the overall trend facing to the upside, clear (local) support at 105.91-107.39, both the 50-month (101.09) and 200-month (91.16) simple moving averages (SMAs) rotating higher (the 50-month SMA has also been north of the 200-month SMA since early 2017), and, finally, the monthly chart’s Relative Strength Index maintaining position north of the 50.00 centreline since 2021 (positive momentum), albeit scraping the threshold several times since 2023. Consequently, it would appear that sellers have their work cut out for them.
Daily and H1 Support Enters the Fight
Across the page on the daily chart, Friday wrapped up the session probing through bids at support from 107.77 (now marked resistance) and touched gloves with the 50-day SMA at 107.58, as well as a 61.8% Fibonacci retracement ratio at 107.24 (note that support is also present nearby at 107.05). Although you could argue that the earlier break of trendline support (extended from the low of 100.18) may fuel further technical downside, current support between 107.05 and 107.58 is not an area to overlook, particularly when it blends with the upper edge of monthly support (107.39). Were buyers to take control here, 107.77 resistance is an obvious hurdle before confirming a bullish scenario on the daily scale, while rupturing support could unearth another support as far south as 105.62.
Shorter-term flow on the H1 chart is in a clear downtrend, consisting of a series of lower lows and lower highs. Given the break of clear lows around 107.70ish (blue oval area), this intensified downside pressure through tripped long positions and fresh breakout selling. I have been monitoring a key support level from 107.25 for a while, and I believe it may be a platform where buyers begin building a position. This is due to where we are trading from on the bigger picture (monthly and daily support) and fresh liquidity available from the break of short-term lows at 107.70. As you can see, together with the H1 support, a 1.618% Fibonacci projection ratio at 106.86 (harmonic traders may recognise this as an ‘alternate’ AB=CD bullish setup) and a 100% projection ratio at 106.84 (equal AB=CD formation) resides below current support, which buyers may use as their lower threshold to construct a support zone with 107.25. We have already witnessed some buying from 107.25 on Friday. Still, if the daily resistance from 107.77 is consumed, this would likely encourage buying and eventually pave the way toward the monthly resistance mentioned above at 109.33, closely shadowed by another layer of daily resistance from 109.53.

Head and Shoulders pattern on the 4-H, for DXY US Dollar IndexTVC:DXY This chart shows a clear Head and Shoulders pattern on the 4-hour time frame for DXY (US Dollar Index), which is a bearish reversal pattern. Here's a short analysis:
Key Levels:
The neckline is at approximately 108.000, acting as a crucial support zone.
A breakdown below the neckline would signal further bearish momentum.
Pattern Confirmation:
Wait for a breakout below the neckline, followed by a possible retest, to confirm the pattern.
Bearish Target:
The measured move from the head to the neckline can be projected downward, aligning with the next key support levels around 107.000–106.500.
Invalidation Zone:
If price breaks above the right shoulder high (around 108.800–109.000), the bearish scenario could be invalidated.
Would you like to explore specific trade setups based on this pattern?
Here’s how you can structure trade setups based on the Head and Shoulders pattern visible in the chart:
1. Bearish Setup (Breakout Strategy)
Entry: Enter a short position after a confirmed breakout below the neckline (108.000). Wait for a strong bearish candle close below this level.
Stop Loss: Place the stop loss above the right shoulder high at 108.800–109.000, depending on your risk tolerance.
Take Profit Targets:
1st target: 107.500 (psychological level and near-term support).
2nd target: 107.000 (projected move based on pattern).
3rd target: 106.500 (long-term support zone).
Dollar down, Metals, Miners, Crude Up! SPX new high, Bitcoin???Premarket US dollar down while precious metals and mining stocks get a bid higher. SPX closes above 6118$ making new record high. Crude oil gets a minor bounce, can it retrace to $77? What is Bitcoin doing next? Will it close higher or sell off from here? That is the question.
"Gold (XAU/USD) Approaching Key Resistance: Awaiting Bearish RevBased on the chart:
- **Trend Analysis**: Gold is trading within an upward channel, indicating a bullish trend in the medium term.
- **Current Price Action**: The price is nearing the channel's upper boundary, which may act as resistance. A potential rejection could lead to a correction toward the channel's lower boundary.
- **Key Levels**:
- Resistance: Around 2,760–2,765.
- Support: The lower boundary of the channel is near 2,730.
- **Bearish Scenario**: A confirmation of bearish reversal (e.g., bearish candlestick patterns or a lower high) could signal a move toward the midline or lower boundary of the channel. A break below 2,750 would strengthen the bearish case.
- **Bullish Continuation**: If the price breaks above the upper channel resistance, further bullish momentum might drive it toward higher levels.
It is advised to wait for a clear **bearish confirmation** at resistance before shorting to align with the channel's trend dynamics.
Ethereum (ETH/USD) on a daily timeframe, AnalysisThis chart illustrates Ethereum (ETH/USD) on a daily timeframe, where the price is consolidating within a broad horizontal range between approximately $2,000 (support) and $4,800 (resistance). A descending trendline from the most recent highs suggests bearish momentum, with price currently rejecting this resistance.
Key observations:
1. **Volume Decline**: The declining volume indicates weakening market participation, which may support a continuation of the downward trend.
2. **Bearish Bias**: The chart suggests a potential move toward the lower boundary of the range ($2,000) if the descending triangle pattern plays out.
Conclusion: If the price breaks below interim support (around $3,000), ETH could potentially test the $2,000 zone. A confirmed breakout above the trendline would invalidate the bearish scenario. BINANCE:ETHUSD
