TAN: Huge topI think we are seeing a massive top in many stocks, solar looks specially vulnerable and it's one of the sectors I'm short of.
If it doesn't break over today's high going forward chances are it is dropping all the way back down...We would need a Biden victory, or a tax law change for this to come to pass though (oil dropping would also help, or subsidies going away).
Oil itself flashed a long term short signal this week, so I like this idea a lot here.

RUN BuyoutIt has just been announced that Sunrun (RUN) will be buying out another competitor solar company, Vivint Solar (VSLR) in a multi-billion dollar deal. RUN has been trading in a rising channel since the mid-March lows, and news of the acquisition may cause an upward breakout of the channel. In addition, the daily volume on RUN has been on a nice incline, and we may see a continuation of that throughout the week.
VSLR Long ideaI like the solar sector here. I own RUN. I think VSLR will breakout higher from this flat top resistance. Volume has been good and price is aligned above the supporting moving averages.
VSLR short!first it broke the first support. why? because technically the chance was high (ascending triangle pattern). But now it is time to short. why? 6 reasons:
1- Rising wedge is clear in the picture and we are on top resistance trend line.
2- Although we broke the first support ( triangle pattern), it could not manage to break the main support. normally when we break the triangle pattern it is HARD with good volume. this time not much.
3- It is rejected by a huge long term resistance
4- You could clearly see the 3 waves in stochastic RSI so it is time to normalized
5- Stochastic RSI is oversold it self as well
6- Fundamentally week! they have recently fired their workers. also with this low price of oil and anyone want to shift to solar?!
Am I 100% sure? LOL no! there is no certainty in the world of trading, SPECIALLY IN THIS VOLATILE MARKET. just chances and statistics. CHANCE IS HIGHER FOR SHORT!

- Stock broke above a short-term symmetrical triangle pattern.
- Prices are supported by a rising trend line
- MACD broke above the signal line while MFI is turning up (>50)
- On a weekly chart, the stock is trading within an ascending triangle pattern.
VSLR About To Fall?NASDAQ: VSLR could potentially fall to its support line at 2.80. Currently VSLR is resting on resistance 1, and in previous trends VSLR is likely to decrease .20 in the next few days. I would suggest that it could also reach further beyond resistance 1 but I would go in favor for a decrease by the end of the week. Check it out.
