XAUUSD 4Hour TF - August 3rd,2025🟦 XAUUSD 4H Analysis Long Idea
📅 August 3rd, 2025
🔹 Top-Down Trend Bias:
• Monthly – Bullish
• Weekly – Bullish
• Daily – Bullish
• 4H – Bullish
Price has broken out of a consolidation, confirming short term bullish momentum in alignment with the higher timeframes. We’re now watching how price reacts on a potential retest of the key $3,320 structure.
🔍 Key Level: $3,320
This former resistance now acts as a critical support zone. How price reacts here will determine short-term direction.
✅ Scenario A: Bullish Continuation
Clean retest of $3,320–$3,335
1.Look for bullish confirmation: wick rejections, bullish engulfing, or lower timeframe structure shift
Target 1: $3,395
Target 2: $3,450
This setup aligns with the overall bullish bias. We have ideal R:R with a clear invalidation to exit on if $3,320 fails as support.
⚠️ Scenario B: Bearish Rejection
1.Failure to hold $3,320 = potential trap breakout
2.Look for structure below $3,320 + bearish conviction
Target: $3,225 support zone
Only valid if $3,320 flips to resistance and confirms structure shift.
🧠 Final Notes
• Let price confirm the setup
• Structure > emotion
• Both scenarios are valid, but only with confirmation

XAUUSD - Daily | More Consolidation??Gold is back in the upper range of this consolidation zone. You can see the high of the range is 3430, and the low is 3240 roughly.
Bulls:
Gold is pulling back into an Inverted FVG. If the price is bullish, then we should clear the gap with ease. Gold has just eliminated 4 days' worth of choppy bearish price action. Look for gold to give clear signs to enter a buy.
**A new daily candle should appear, creating a new FVG showing buyers are winning
Bears:
So with that said... If Gold fails to remain bullish after Friday's (Aug 1st) 700-pip jump, then the iFVG may have the price react bearishly. Watch for gold to give a clear sign of rejection before entering a sell
**Price may drop to cover Friday's gap. Doesn't mean it's bearish
Gold Slips After Powell Speech Below 3320 Bearish Pressure BuildGOLD Overview
Market Context:
Gold declined from the 3333 level, as anticipated in yesterday’s analysis, ahead of Fed Chair Powell’s speech. Powell reiterated that it is still too early for rate cuts, citing persistently high inflation, which supported the U.S. dollar and pressured gold.
Technical Outlook:
As long as gold trades below the 3320–3310 zone, the bearish momentum is expected to continue, with the next target at 3285. A confirmed break and stability below 3285 could open the way toward 3255.
To regain bullish traction, the price must stabilize above 3320.
Support Levels: 3285 • 3255
Resistance Levels: 3333 • 3349
Potential bearish drop? The Gold (XAU/USD) has reacted off the pivot and could drop to the 1st support.
Pivot: 3,306.31
1st Support: 3,239.07
1st Resistance: 3,357.09

Gold may still be unfolding Wave C of a triangle — don’t rushGold appears to be forming a contracting triangle pattern, and we could currently be in the midst of Wave C. In a triangle structure (A-B-C-D-E), Wave C typically unfolds as a corrective move and is often mistaken for a potential breakout phase.
However, triangles are continuation patterns, and premature entries can lead to whipsaws or false breakouts. If Gold is indeed still in Wave C, we can expect further choppy, sideways movement before the pattern completes with Waves D and E.
Patience is key — let the structure mature. A more reliable opportunity may emerge after the triangle resolves and the larger trend resumes.

XAUUSD 4 hour Neutral Idea
Monthly - Bullish
Weekly - Bullish
Daily - Bullish
4hour - Bearish
Last week we saw a perfect setup playout and then it retraced 100% to close out the week. This is looking more bearish on the 4Hour timeframe now but we need to see how price action reacts at the 3,320 support zone first.
Here are two potential scenarios we want to see for the week ahead.
Bullish Reversal - If we are to see gold as bullish again we would ideally like to see some consolidation at the current level followed by strong bullish conviction.
We need to see convincing price action before we can begin targeting higher. Consolidation + Bullish conviction will be our best chance at a long position.
Bearish Continuation - The 4hour sure looks bearish but will it sustain? Looking ahead into the week we want to see price action push below 3,320 with bearish structure below.
I would also like to see a pattern or a few hours to a day of consolidation below 3,320. If this happens we can begin to target lower toward major support levels like 3,225.
Bearish drop? The Gold (XAU/USD) has reacted off the pivot and could potentially drop to the 1st support, which is a pullback support that is slightly below the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement.

Monthly - Bullish

Daily - Bullish
4hour - Bullish
GOLD,GOLD,GOLD. This thing has been bullish on all timeframes and doesn’t really show any signs of stopping just yet.
We can see two scenarios for the week ahead so let’s dive in:
Bullish continuation - Price action on gold is breaking out of a descending triangle pattern. This is a strong bullish move but for us to consider trades we want the confirmation.
Look for a retest of our 61.8% fib level and mostly recently broken structure. If we can spot bullish conviction coming off this level we can then consider targeting higher resistance levels like 3.395.000. Our -27% fib level lines up with this zone as well.
Bearish Reversal - For us to consider Gold bearish again we would need to see something very convincing. If we did see a break below 3,320.000 with a confirmed lower high I would then consider short scenarios.
Look to target toward major support levels on the way down to 3,225.000, our next monthly support zone.
GOLD | Testing Key Support at 3320 — Breakdown or Rebound Ahead?GOLD: Futures Dip as Dollar Strengthens, Eyes on 3320 Support
Gold futures declined as the U.S. dollar gained strength following President Trump’s denial of plans to fire Fed Chair Jerome Powell. While concerns over central bank independence persist, gold remains up over 26% YTD, supported by strong central bank demand and ongoing macro uncertainty.
Technical Outlook:
The price is now approaching the 3320–3312 zone.
A break below 3312 would trigger a bearish move from 3315 toward 3297 and 3281.
However, if the price stabilizes above 3320 on a 4H close, a bullish rebound may follow toward 3333 and 3342.
Key Levels:
Support: 3312, 3297, 3281
Resistance: 3333, 3342, 3363
Bullish bounce off overlap support? The Gold (XAU/USD) is falling towards the pivot which has been identified as an overlap support and could bounce to the pullback resistance.

Gold Bullish Above 3342 – Watching 3365 BreakoutGold Futures Rise on Trade & Geopolitical Tensions
Gold continues to gain as renewed tariff threats from the U.S. and rising geopolitical risks weigh on market sentiment.
While markets have become somewhat desensitized to Trump’s recurring trade rhetoric, concerns remain that resolutions may be delayed.
Technical Outlook:
As long as the price holds above 3342, the bullish trend is likely to continue toward 3355 and 3365.
A stable close above 3365 would open the way to 3395.
However, a 1H close below 3342 may trigger a pullback to 3329.

Gold is looking pretty bullish this week as we saw a significant push above our 3,320.000 resistance zone. Looking to ride that same trend through this next week.
Bullish continuation - After a nice rally last week gold looks primed for another long setup. Ideally, price action goes for the retest of 3,320.000 and forms a higher low. This would confirm bullish structure and we can begin targeting higher toward major levels of resistance.
Bearish Reversal - For us to consider bearish setups we would first need to see a break back below 3,320.000 followed by a confirmed lower high. If this happens we can consider short positions and look to target lower toward major levels of support.
