Whats your favorite TSX stock for intraday?I would usually share trade ideas here but instead, I’d like to ask a question to the day traders among us.
When you start your day, how do you pick good candidates (on the tsx) for trading on 5m or 15m timeframe. Do you stick to 1 or a few stock that you trade everyday or do you adjust daily? If you stick to the same few stocks, why those specific stocks?
When trading intraday, I realize I spent too much time going through stocks in search for good movement rather than studying charts. To me thats a problem and I’d like to clean my act a little.

TSU at resistance of the upper trend line -Blue.
It has touched this trend line 3 times prior, 4th time we may go through.
It appears to be climbing this Fib ladder and
is stuck in this channel between $47 - $30.
Daily and Weekly MA's are pointing higher.
If it can get its head up it could have a date
with $70.

We primarily assume that this Zone should be approached next in the course of the current wave C. The low of wave C should also mark the end of the higher-level wave (2) in magenta, which will then clear the way for the subsequent wave (3).
New Gold Mining StockThis Stock ticker BOOM on the CSE is only 2 months old so i figure ill get in for 500 shares and see where this goes. I got in at .12 cents. I'm going to study use this as an opportunity to learn and watch this stock as it matures. hopefully i can trade my way up to a nice profit over the next year.

May 10: 17-year long correction ended, generational buyMonthly chart shows AMEX:FM was in a 17-year long WXY correction which bounced strongly at the 0.618 fib (common for a truncated last wave for long-term correction).
The Daily shows that it has been nesting to the upside and is very close to breaking above the previous pivot. Once it breaks above, we can confirm that the correction has ended.
Looking at other copper stocks like NYSE:FCX and also AMEX:COPX , it is very likely that FM just lagged behind and the whole copper sector has indeed ended its decade-long correction.
Minimum upside target is 121.5
Heliostar - Rising channelIn a long position here, So I may be biased. That said the company acquired the Ana Paula Gold mine in March 2023, looking at the volume data before and after this event, it has generated much needed liquidity. On or around the 28th February 2024, many Gold Miners turned positive and moved into uptrends. If you look at my chart, Heliostar also follows the same path from its bottom at 18c on or around the 18th February.
Both in the daily & weekly chart, the rising channel has been respected. Please DYOR.
Significant infill drilling to the Ana Paula asset, Recent debt funding announced to progress this to the producing mine stage.

Bullish outlook, but potentional correction first!Fundamentals:
Overall the quarter result was slightly better then expected. The high gold price will also lead to higher incomes in the coming quarters.
Technical:
In the short term it is possible that the support zone at 1,59 CAD will be tested, before going to the resistance lvl at 2,58 CAD.
ARX LongThis is a step away from my norm and I may be a little early. Very large Head and shoulder pattern, target seems a long way off and will try to trade a 3rd of the stock on monthly candles to the target. Wish me luck..
New Found Gold Second postThe trend since the end of February is still moving up with consolidation the last two weeks.
April 12th filled the gap down from Octover 2023 setting as well as setting the YTD High. I think May will be positive and move past the resistance levels and try to test the YTD high.
ERF LongLong entry on ERF. This feels like one of those i should have stayed away from. Been watching for a long time and missed several entries due to lack of funds. NASDQ pullback this week solved that problem. Energy tends to rally when tech does not so half normal position placed. Usual SL management and targeting the 50% retrace.
CANADIAN STOCK > short TOI Based on my graphic analysis I observe a bearish projection reaching minus 6% in the price of this corporation, that is; from $115 it will drop to $108. With a buy exit emerging at $122, it is worth remembering that the exact time the decline will take is unpredictable, the market will simply do its job. We can mention that it will happen within the next 15-20 days from this post!

* Green line: emergency exit price: $122 = -6%
* Red line: selling price (position) $115
* White line: profit $108 = +6%
However, it is important to remember that these marked lines must be respected. If the price goes up 2 to 4% after you execute the position, don't try to improvise and change everything. The movement could return to the initial direction and you will be left frustrated!

So many ways to play this.
A breakout has just started on the weekly!Had to take a position on this today! Sprott is the largest holder (with 165 million shares). This long-term chart looks very similiar to Jaguar Mining (another Sprott company) that has taken off. A reverse head and shoulders forming on the monthly chart. It could still bounce sideways to lower in the near-term. If so, I doubt it will be dramatic. Could be an easy 10x from here.

Now we've just seen an A,B,C retrace (W2) which was halted at the Cup & Handle breakout line for a fleeting Gap Fill.
This was also the 50% retrace level of the (W1) Impulse.
Should push on now (W3) with a target of $1.41
MDP Technicals trying to retest 3rd time support near 1.48 and upon successful bounce back, it can jump above 3.5 easily. Some thing can be sensed here. Eps positve. So hope positive. Take your own decision and study before any blind call
