Albania sells 89 mln euro of 1-yr T-bills, bellow target
TIRANA (Albania), January 2 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 8.66 billion leks ($92.5 million/89.2 million euro) worth of one-year Treasury bills at an auction on December 30, below its 10.5-billion-leks target, the central bank said.
The government securities will mature on January 5, 2026, the central bank said in a data release. As much as 2.4 billion leks from the offer were reserved for the central bank.
Average weighted yield came in at 2.76%, slightly higher than the yield of 2.73% achieved at the previous auction of one-year Treasury bills held on December 24.
