Singapore's Granite Asia hires Ming Eng for credit strategy

Singapore-headquartered investment firm Granite Asia has appointed Ming Eng as partner responsible for co-managing its credit solutions, including investment strategy and fundraising, according to a statement dated Jan. 1.

Eng, who has 20 years of financial and capital markets experience, was previously a managing partner at Orion Capital Asia, a Singapore-based private debt manager focused on mid-market direct lending in Asia Pacific, the statement said.

Granite Asia, known as GGV Capital Asia until a rebranding last year, has assets under management totaling $5 billion, according to its website.
