PineConnectorLibrary "PineConnector" This library is a comprehensive alert webhook text generator for PineConnector. It contains every possible alert syntax variation from the documentation, along with some debugging functions. To use it, just import the library (eg. "import ZenAndTheArtOfTrading/PineConnector/1 as pc") and use pc.buy(licenseID) to send an alert off to PineConnector - assuming all your webhooks etc are set up correctly. View the PineConnector documentation for more information on how to send the commands you're looking to send (all of this library's function names match the documentation). all()   Usage: pc.buy(pc_id, freq=pc.all())   Returns: "all" once_per_bar()   Usage: pc.buy(pc_id, freq=pc.once_per_bar())   Returns: "once_per_bar" once_per_bar_close()   Usage: pc.buy(pc_id, freq=pc.once_per_bar_close())   Returns: "once_per_bar_close" na0(value)   Checks if given value is either 'na' or 0. Keltner Channel - Trend Based StrategyThis strategy is based on 3 main indicators. 1st indicator is a trend indicator, which consists of SMA and EMA 2nd is Keltner Channel 3rd is DM indicator. The conditions for the entry of this strategy are following: First of all the assets need to be in an upward trend, this will occur when the EMA will cross SMA. The next condition for the entry is the opening and the closure of the candle. The open price of the candle should be in the upper part of the Keltner Channel and the close price should be above the Keltner channel. The third condition for the DM indicator is to be above a certain benchmakr. This benchmark can be set in the settings of the strategy. The strategy has two potential Take Profit levels and single stop-loss levels. For the more efficient way you may try an use the trailing stop or extend the number of take-profit levels.

Zendog V2 backtest DCA bot 3commasHi everyone, After a few iterations and additional implemented features this version of the Backtester is now open source. The Strategy is a Backtester for 3commas DCA bots. The main usage scenario is to plugin your external indicator, and backtest it using different DCA settings. Before using this script please make sure you read these explanations and make sure you understand how it works. Features: - Because of Tradingview limitations on how orders are grouped into Trades, this Strategy statistics are calculated by the script, so please ignore the Strategy Tester statistics completely Statistics Table explained: - Status: either all deals are closed or there is a deal still running, in which case additional info is provided below, as when the deal started, current PnL, current SO - Finished deals: Total number of closed deals both Winning and Losing. A deal is comprised as the Base Order (BO) + all Safety Orders (SO) related to that deal, so this number will be different than the Strategy Tester List of Trades - Winning Deals: Deal ended in profit - Losing deals: Deals ended with loss due to Stop Loss. In the future I might add a Deal Stop condition to the script, so that will count towards this number as well. - Total days ( Max / Avg days in Deal ): Total Days in the Backtest given by either Tradingview limitation on the number of candles or by the config of the script regarding "Limit Date Range". Max Days spent in a deal + which period this happened. Avg days spent in a deal. - Required capital: This is the total capital required to run the Backtester and it is automatically calculated by the script taking into consideration BO size, SO size, SO volume scale. This should be the same as 3commas. This number overwrites strategy.initial_capital and is used to calculate Profit and other stats, so you don't need to update strategy.initial_capital every time you change BO/SO settings - Profit after commission - Buy and Hold return: The PnL that could have been obtained by buying at the close of the first candle of the backtester and selling at the last. - Covered deviation: The % of price move from initial BO order covered by SO settings - Max Deviation: Biggest market % price move vs BO price, in the other direction (for long is down, for short it is up) - Max Drawdown: Biggest market % price move vs Avg price of the whole Trade (BO + any SO), in the other direction (for long price goes down, for short it goes up) This is calculated for the whole Trade so it is different than List of Trades - Max / Avg bars in deal - Total volume / Commission calculated by the strategy. This is a profitable strategy script I created to teach my students how to automate their scripts using 3rd party APIs (more info available in my profile link at the bottom of this page). What Is This? This strategy is called the "Follow The Bear" strategy. It's a forex trading strategy designed for one purpose and one purpose only: to take advantage of a recurring pattern on EURUSD's 1-Hour chart during the European market open. The basic explanation is this: During the European open we want to see a rally followed by a swing high shooting star / reversal pinbar candle. This typically means that traders buying EURUSD during the European/London open are now trapped long, and as price begins to retrace they are forced to sell, fueling a short-term retracement. This strategy takes advantage of that pattern by aggressively selling short with a tight stop-loss above the pinbar candle and a conservative target. There are many ways to trade this pattern, but this script represents my personal method for trading it. It is not 100% accurate (no strategy is), but it does have a considerably high win rate over the past 6+ years considering its simplicity and I've been trading it for several months and can attest to its edge over the markets (at least through the Oanda data feed which is what I use). The strategy rules are this: Market: EURUSD Timeframe: 1-Hour Direction: Short Only Timezone: 6AM-10AM GMT Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Entry: Close of Pinbar Setup Stop: 2 pips above signal candle Target: 1:1 Risk: Up to you (backtest first! I use 1%) The rule for the pinbar/shooting star candle pattern is that the candle must both open and close in the lower 50% of the bar's total size. Automation This script is already prepared to be auto-traded through a 3rd-party API that was created to relay TradingView alerts to your broker to execute and manage trades. Indicator Integrator StratThis strategy is based on my Indicator Integrator. The code sums the distances from the close of the price to an SMA (200 in example) with a summation period of the last 29 bars. I tuned this to NZDUSD 15min chart using 200SMA and 29 period sum. If I am reading strat tester correctly this hits a 39% gain since Mar-13 or 104 days. It has the ability to set stops and limits which they are not set at this point. There is no repainting or HA charts and other tricks of boosting a false gain. My codes are built for autotrading with some oversight, i.e stopping the autotrading prior to extreme news events on the economic calendar. I pick pairs that have low volatility so that the code does not have to act through heavy price changes. Comments welcome

MACD, backtest 2015+ only, cut in half and doubledThis is only a slight modification to the existing "MACD Strategy" strategy plugin! found the default MACD strategy to be lacking, although impressive for its simplicity. I added "year>2014" to the IF buy/sell conditions so it will only backtest from 2015 and beyond ** . I also had a problem with the standard MACD trading late, per se. To that end I modified the inputs for fast/slow/signal to double. Example: my defaults are 10, 21, 10 so I put 20, 42, 20 in. This has the effect of making a 30min interval the same as 1 hour at 10,21,10. So if you want to backtest at 4hr, you would set your time interval to 2hr on the main chart. This is a handy way to make shorter time periods more useful even regardless of strategy/testing, since you can view 15min with alot less noise but a better response. Used on BTCCNY OKcoin, with the chart set at 45 min (so really 90min in the strategy) this gave me a percent profitable of 42% and a profit factor of 1.998 on 189 trades. Personally, I like to set the length/signals to 30,63,30. Meaning you need to triple the time, it allows for much better use of shorter time periods and the backtests are remarkably profitable. (i.e. 15min chart view = 45min on script, 30min= 1.5hr on script) ** If you want more specific time periods you need to try plugging in different bar values: replace "year" with "n" and "2014" with "5500". The bars are based on unix time I believe so you will need to play around with the number for n, with n being the numbers of bars.
