Nifty IT VolumeHello everyone,
Here I present Nifty IT index volumes calculated based on weighted volumes of all constituents.
A simple formula for calculation:
constituent1.volume*weightage + constituent2.volume*weightage + ....
You can change color and code if there is a change in constituents of the index from NSE. I will share other index volumes soon.
Enjoy!

US Sentiment Index [CryptoSea]The US Sentiment Index is an advanced analytical tool designed for traders seeking to uncover patterns, correlations, and potential leading signals across key market tickers. This indicator surpasses traditional sentiment measures, providing a data-driven approach that offers deeper insights compared to conventional indices like the Fear and Greed Index.
Key Features
Multi-Ticker Analysis: Integrates data from a diverse set of market indicators, including gold, S&P 500, U.S. Dollar Index, Volatility Index, and more, to create a comprehensive view of market sentiment.
Customisable Sensitivity Settings: Allows users to adjust the moving average period to fine-tune the sensitivity of sentiment calculations, adapting the tool to various market conditions and trading strategies.
Detailed Sentiment Scaling: Utilises a 0-100 scale to quantify sentiment strength, with colour gradients that visually represent bearish, neutral, and bullish conditions, aiding in quick decision-making.
Below is an example where the sentiment index can give leading signals. We see a first sign of wekaness in the index as it drops below its moving average. Shortly after we see it dip below our median 50 level, another sign of weakeness. We see the SPX price action to take a hit following the sentiment index decrease.
Tickers Used and Their Impact on Sentiment
The impact of each ticker on sentiment can be bullish or bearish, depending on their behaviour:
Gold (USGD): Typically seen as a safe-haven asset, rising gold prices often indicate increased market fear or bearish sentiment. Conversely, falling gold prices can signal reduced fear and a shift towards bullish sentiment in riskier assets.
S&P 500 (SPX): A rising S&P 500 is usually a sign of bullish sentiment, reflecting confidence in economic growth and market stability. A decline, however, suggests bearish sentiment and a potential move towards risk aversion.
U.S. Dollar Index (DXY): A strengthening U.S. Dollar can be a sign of fear as investors seek safety in the dollar, which is bearish for risk assets. A weakening dollar, on the other hand, can signal bullish sentiment as capital flows into riskier assets.
Volatility Index (VIX): Known as the "fear gauge," a rising VIX indicates increased market fear and bearish sentiment. A falling VIX suggests a calm, bullish market environment.
Junk Bonds (JNK): Rising junk bond prices often reflect bullish sentiment as investors take on more risk for higher returns. Conversely, falling junk bond prices signal increased fear and bearish sentiment.
Long-Term Treasury Bonds (TLT): Higher prices for long-term treasuries usually indicate a flight to safety, reflecting bearish sentiment. Lower prices suggest a shift towards riskier assets, indicating bullish sentiment.
Financial Sector ETF (XLF): Strength in the financial sector is typically bullish, indicating confidence in economic conditions. Weakness in this sector can reflect bearish sentiment and concerns about financial stability.
Unemployment Rate (USUR): A rising unemployment rate is a bearish signal, indicating economic weakness. A declining unemployment rate is bullish, reflecting economic strength and job growth.
U.S. Interest Rates (USINTR, USIRYY): Higher interest rates can be bearish, as they increase borrowing costs and reduce spending. Lower rates are generally bullish, promoting economic growth and risk-taking.
How it Works
Sentiment Calculation: The US Sentiment Index combines data from multiple tickers, calculating sentiment by scaling the distance from their respective moving averages. Each asset's behaviour is interpreted within the context of market fear or greed, providing a refined sentiment reading that adjusts dynamically.
Market Strength Analysis: When the index is above 50 and also above its moving average, it indicates particularly strong or bullish market conditions, driven by greed. Conversely, when the index is below 50 and under its moving average, it signals bearish or weak market conditions, associated with fear.
Correlation and Pattern Detection: The indicator analyses correlations among the included assets to detect patterns that might signal potential market movements, giving traders a leading edge over simpler sentiment measures.
Adaptive Background Colouring: Utilises a colour gradient that dynamically adjusts based on sentiment values, highlighting extreme fear, neutral, and extreme greed levels directly on the chart.
Flexible Display Options: Offers settings to toggle the moving average plot and adjust its period, giving users the ability to tailor the indicator's sensitivity and display to their specific needs.
In this example below, we can see the Sentiment rise above the Moving Average (MA). Price action goes on to follow this, although there is an instance where it dips below the MA, it quickly rises back above again as a sign of strength.
Another way you can use this index is by simply using the MA, if its trending up, we know the macro sentiment is bullish.
Application
Data-Driven Insights: Offers traders a detailed, data-driven approach to sentiment analysis, incorporating a broad spectrum of market indicators to deliver actionable insights.
Pattern Recognition: Helps identify patterns and correlations that may lead to market reversals or continuations, providing a nuanced view that goes beyond simple sentiment gauges.
Enhanced Decision-Making: Equips traders with a robust tool to validate trading strategies and make informed decisions based on comprehensive sentiment analysis.
The US Sentiment Index by is an essential addition to the toolkit of any trader looking to navigate market complexities with precision and confidence. Its advanced features and data-driven approach offer unparalleled insights into market sentiment, setting it apart from conventional sentiment indicators.
Intramarket Difference Index StrategyHi Traders !!
The IDI Strategy:
In layman’s terms this strategy compares two indicators across markets and exploits their differences.
note: it is best the two markets are correlated as then we know we are trading a short to long term deviation from both markets' general trend with the assumption both markets will trend again sometime in the future thereby exhausting our trading opportunity.
📍 Import Notes:
This Strategy calculates trade position size independently (i.e. risk per trade is controlled in the user inputs tab), this means that the ‘Order size’ input in the ‘Properties’ tab will have no effect on the strategy. Why ? because this allows us to define custom position size algorithms which we can use to improve our risk management and equity growth over time. Here we have the option to have fixed quantity or fixed percentage of equity ATR (Average True Range) based stops in addition to the turtle trading position size algorithm.
‘Pyramiding’ does not work for this strategy’, similar to the order size input togeling this input will have no effect on the strategy as the strategy explicitly defines the maximum order size to be 1.
This strategy is not perfect, and as of writing of this post I have not traded this algo.
Always take your time to backtests and debug the strategy.
🔷 The IDI Strategy:
By default this strategy pulls data from your current TV chart and then compares it to the base market, be default BINANCE:BTCUSD . The strategy pulls SMA and RSI data from either market (we call this the difference data), standardizes the data (solving the different unit problem across markets) such that it is comparable and then differentiates the data, calling the result of this transformation and difference the Intramarket Difference (ID). The formula for the the ID is
ID = market1_diff_data - market2_diff_data (1)
Where
market(i)_diff_data = diff_data / ATR(j)_market(i)^0.5,
where i = {1, 2} and j = the natural numbers excluding 0
Formula (1) interpretation is the following
When ID > 0: this means the current market outperforms the base market
When ID = 0: Markets are at long run equilibrium
When ID < 0: this means the current market underperforms the base market
To form the strategy we define one of two strategy type’s which are Trend and Mean Revesion respectively.
🔸 Trend Case:
Given the ‘‘Strategy Type’’ is equal to TREND we define a threshold for which if the ID crosses over we go long and if the ID crosses under the negative of the threshold we go short.
The motivating idea is that the ID is an indicator of the two symbols being out of sync, and given we know volatility clustering, momentum and mean reversion of anomalies to be a stylised fact of financial data we can construct a trading premise. Let's first talk more about this premise.
For some markets (cryptocurrency markets - synthetic symbols in TV) the stylised fact of momentum is true, this means that higher momentum is followed by higher momentum, and given we know momentum to be a vector quantity (with magnitude and direction) this momentum can be both positive and negative i.e. when the ID crosses above some threshold we make an assumption it will continue in that direction for some time before executing back to its long run equilibrium of 0 which is a reasonable assumption to make if the market are correlated. For example for the BTCUSD - ETHUSD pair, if the ID > +threshold (inputs for MA and RSI based ID thresholds are found under the ‘‘INTRAMARKET DIFFERENCE INDEX’’ group’), ETHUSD outperforms BTCUSD, we assume the momentum to continue so we go long ETHUSD.
In the standard case we would exit the market when the IDI returns to its long run equilibrium of 0 (for the positive case the ID may return to 0 because ETH’s difference data may have decreased or BTC’s difference data may have increased). However in this strategy we will not define this as our exit condition, why ?
This is because we want to ‘‘let our winners run’’, to achieve this we define a trailing Donchian Channel stop loss (along with a fixed ATR based stop as our volatility proxy). If we were too use the 0 exit the strategy may print a buy signal (ID > +threshold in the simple case, market regimes may be used), return to 0 and then print another buy signal, and this process can loop may times, this high trade frequency means we fail capture the entire market move lowering our profit, furthermore on lower time frames this high trade frequencies mean we pay more transaction costs (due to price slippage, commission and big-ask spread) which means less profit.
By capturing the sum of many momentum moves we are essentially following the trend hence the trend following strategy type.
Here we also print the IDI (with default strategy settings with the MA difference type), we can see that by letting our winners run we may catch many valid momentum moves, that results in a larger final pnl that if we would otherwise exit based on the equilibrium condition(Valid trades are denoted by solid green and red arrows respectively and all other valid trades which occur within the original signal are light green and red small arrows).
another example...
Note: if you would like to plot the IDI separately copy and paste the following code in a new Pine Script indicator template.

Note it is possible that after printing a buy the strategy then prints many sell signals before returning to a buy, which again has the same implication (less profit. Potentially because we exit early only for price to continue upwards hence missing the larger "trend"). The image below showcases this cenario and again, by allowing our winner to run we may capture more profit (theoretically).
This should be clear...
🔸 Mean Reversion Case:
We stated prior that mean reversion of anomalies is an standerdies fact of financial data, how can we exploit this ?
We exploit this by normalizing the ID by applying the Ehlers fisher transformation. The transformed data is then assumed to be approximately normally distributed. To form the strategy we employ the same logic as for the z score, if the FT normalized ID > 2.5 (< -2.5) we buy (short). Our exit conditions remain unchanged (fixed ATR stop and trailing Donchian Trailing stop)
🔷 Position Sizing:
If ‘‘Fixed Risk From Initial Balance’’ is toggled true this means we risk a fixed percentage of our initial balance, if false we risk a fixed percentage of our equity (current balance).
Note we also employ a volatility adjusted position sizing formula, the turtle training method which is defined as follows.
Turtle position size = (1/ r * ATR * DV) * C
Where,
r = risk factor coefficient (default is 20)
ATR(j) = risk proxy, over j times steps
DV = Dollar Volatility, where DV = (1/Asset Price) * Capital at Risk
🔷 Risk Management:
Correct money management means we can limit risk and increase reward (theoretically). Here we employ
Max loss and gain per day
Max loss per trade
Max number of consecutive losing trades until trade skip
To read more see the tooltips (info circle).
🔷 Take Profit:
By defualt the script uses a Donchain Channel as a trailing stop and take profit, In addition to this the script defines a fixed ATR stop losses (by defualt, this covers cases where the DC range may be to wide making a fixed ATR stop usefull), ATR take profits however are defined but optional.
ATR SL and TP defined for all trades
🔷 Hurst Regime (Regime Filter):
The Hurst Exponent (H) aims to segment the market into three different states, Trending (H > 0.5), Random Geometric Brownian Motion (H = 0.5) and Mean Reverting / Contrarian (H < 0.5). In my interpretation this can be used as a trend filter that eliminates market noise.
We utilize the trending and mean reverting based states, as extra conditions required for valid trades for both strategy types respectively, in the process increasing our trade entry quality.
🔷 Example model Architecture:
Here is an example of one configuration of this strategy, combining all aspects discussed in this post.

ZORZOR (Zone of Outperformance Ratio) with Supporting Indicators
This custom indicator introduces an approach to measuring asset performance through the Zone of Outperformance Ratio (ZOR), complemented by two supporting indicators for comprehensive market analysis.
1. ZOR (Zone of Outperformance Ratio)
The ZOR is the cornerstone of this indicator, offering a unique perspective on an asset's performance across multiple time zones:
Measures the degree of an asset's outperformance against a benchmark (default: NSE:NIFTY) across different time zones
Utilizes a weighted multi-timeframe approach for a holistic performance view
Combines performance ratios from 63, 126, 189, and 252-day zones and results in a score between 0-99, with higher scores indicating stronger outperformance across zones
Key Features:
Fully configurable weights for each timeframe (63, 126, 189, 252 days)
Customizable benchmark symbol
Color-coded display: Blue for scores ≥60 (strong performance), Red for scores <60 (weaker performance)
2. Supporting Indicators
To enhance analysis and provide context to the ZOR score, two additional indicators are included:
a) Distance to 52-week High:
Calculates the percentage distance between current price and 52-week high
Color-coded for quick interpretation:
Yellow-green when price is above 52-week high
Dark green when price is below 52-week high
Helps identify potential overbought conditions or breakout scenarios
b) Distance to EMA:
Shows percentage distance from current price to a user-defined EMA (default: 21-day)
Helps gauge short-term momentum relative to the trend
Useful for identifying potential mean reversion opportunities
Originality and Usefulness
The ZOR indicator offers a fresh perspective on relative performance by:
Combining multiple timeframes into a single, easy-to-interpret score
Applying a non-linear transformation to emphasize recent performance
Providing a flexible framework for comparing assets against any chosen benchmark
The supporting indicators complement the ZOR by offering additional context:
Distance to 52-week High helps identify potential trend strength and breakout scenarios
Distance to EMA provides insights into short-term momentum and potential mean reversion
This combination allows traders to:
Quickly identify outperforming assets across multiple timeframes
Assess whether an asset is extended from its long-term highs or short-term average
Make more informed decisions by considering relative performance, trend strength, and momentum in a single view
How to Use
1. Add the indicator to your chart
2. Customize settings in the indicator properties:
- Set benchmark symbol
- Toggle visibility of supporting indicators
- Customize EMA length for Distance to EMA
- Adjust ZOR calculation weights(Optional)
3. Interpret the color-coded labels:
- ZOR: Blue (strong performance) or Red (weaker performance)
- Distance to High: Yellow-green (above 52-week high) or Dark green (below)
- Distance to EMA: Purple label showing percentage
4. Use in conjunction with other technical and fundamental analysis for comprehensive trading decisions
This indicator provides a unique, multi-faceted approach to performance analysis, combining relative strength measurement with trend and momentum indicators for a holistic market view.
RSI DeviationAn oscillator which de-trends the Relative Strength Index. Rather, it takes a moving average of RSI and plots it's standard deviation from the MA, similar to a Bollinger %B oscillator. This seams to highlight short term peaks and troughs, Indicating oversold and overbought conditions respectively. It is intended to be used with a Dollar Cost Averaging strategy, but may also be useful for Swing Trading, or Scalping on lower timeframes.
When the line on the oscillator line crosses back into the channel, it signals a trade opportunity.
~ Crossing into the band from the bottom, indicates the end of an oversold condition, signaling a potential reversal. This would be a BUY signal.
~ Crossing into the band from the top, indicates the end of an overbought condition, signaling a potential reversal. This would be a SELL signal.
For ease of use, I've made the oscillator highlight the main chart when Overbought/Oversold conditions are occurring, and place fractals upon reversion to the Band. These repaint as they are calculated at close. The earliest trade would occur upon open of the following day.
I have set the default St. Deviation to be 2, but in my testing I have found 1.5 to be quite reliable. By decreasing the St. Deviation you will increase trade frequency, to a point, at the expense of efficiency.
Cheers

Glitch IndexGlitch Index is an oscillator from an unknown origin that is discovered in 2013 as a lua indicator taken from MetaStock days and we are not really sure how far back the original idea goes.
How it Works?
As I found this indicator and looking at it's code in different platform I can see it comes back from a basic idea of getting a price value, calculating it's smoothed average with a set multiplier and getting the difference then presenting it on a simplified scale. It appears to be another interpretation of figuring out price acceleration and velocity. The main logic is calculated as below:
price = priceSet(priceType)
_ma = getAverageName(price, MaMethod, MaPeriod)
rocma = ((_ma - _ma ) * 0.1) + 1
maMul = _ma * rocma
diff = price - maMul
gli_ind = (diff / price) * -10
How to Use?
Glitch Index can be used based on different implementations and along with your already existing trading system as a confirmation. Yoıu can use it as a Long signal when the histogram crosses inner levels or you can use it as an overbough and oversold signals when the histogram crosses above outter levels and gets back in the range between outter and inner levels.
You can customise the settings and set your prefered inner and outter levels in indicator settings along with gradient or static based coloring and modify the code as you see fit. The coloring code is set below:
gli_col = gli_ind > outterLevel ? color.green : gli_ind < -outterLevel ? color.red : gli_ind > innerLevel ? color.rgb(106, 185, 109, 57) : gli_ind < -innerLevel ? color.rgb(233, 111, 111, 40) : color.new(color.yellow, 60)
gradcol = color.from_gradient(gli_ind, -outterLevel, outterLevel, color.red, color.green)
colorSelect = colorType == "Gradient" ? gradcol : gli_col
[BT] NedDavis Series: CPI Minus 5-Year Moving Average🟧 GENERAL
The script works on the Monthly Timeframe and has 2 main settings (explained in FEATURES ). It uses the US CPI data, reported by the Bureau of Labour Statistics.
🔹Functionality 1: The main idea is to plot the distance between the CPI line and the 5 year moving average of the CPI line. This technique in mathematics is called "deviation from the moving average". This technique is used to analyse how has CPI previously acted and can give clues at what it might do in the future. Economic historians use such analysis, together with specific period analysis to predict potential risks in the future (see an example of such analysis in HOW TO USE section. The mathematical technique is a simple subtraction between 2 points (CPI - 5yr SMA of CPI).
▶︎Interpretation for deviation from a moving average:
Positive Deviation: When the line is above its moving average, it indicates that the current value is higher than the average, suggesting potential strength or bullish sentiment.
Negative Deviation: Conversely, when the line falls below its moving average, it suggests weakness or bearish sentiment as the current value is lower than the average.
▶︎Applications:
Trend Identification: Deviations from moving averages can help identify trends, with sustained deviations indicating strong trends.
Reversal Signals: Significant deviations from moving averages may signal potential trend reversals, especially when combined with other technical indicators.
Volatility Measurement: Monitoring the magnitude of deviations can provide insights into market volatility and price movements.
Remember the indicator is applying this only for the US CPI - not the ticker you apply the indicator on!
🔹Functionality 2: It plots on a new pane below information about the Consumer Price Index. You can also find the information by plotting the ticker symbol USACPIALLMINMEI on TradingView, which is a Monthly economic data by the OECD for the CPI in the US. The only addition you would get from the indicator is the plot of the 5 year Simple Moving Average.
🔹What is the US Consumer Price Index?
Measures the change in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers;
Traders care about the CPI because consumer prices account for a majority of overall inflation. Inflation is important to currency valuation because rising prices lead the central bank to raise interest rates out of respect for their inflation containment mandate;
It is measured as the average price of various goods and services are sampled and then compared to the previous sampling.
Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics;
FEATURES OF INDICATOR
1) The US Consumer Price Index Minus the Five Year Moving Average of the same.
As shown on the picture above and explained in previous section. Here a more detailed view.
2) The actual US Consumer Price Index (Annual Rate of change) and the Five year average of the US Consumer Price Index. Explained above and shown below:
To activate 2) go into settings and toggle the check box.
HOW TO USE
It can be used for a fundamental analysis on the relationship between the stock market, the economy and the Feds decisions to hike or cut rates, whose main mandate is to control inflation over time.
I have created this indicator to show my analysis in this idea:
What does a First Fed Rate cut really mean?
CREDITS
I have seen such idea in the past posted by the institutional grade research of NedDavis and have recreated it for the TradingView platform, open-source for the community.
RSI AcceleratorThe Relative Strength Index (RSI) is like a fitness tracker for the underlying time series. It measures how overbought or oversold an asset is, which is kinda like saying how tired or energized it is.
When the RSI goes too high, it suggests the asset might be tired and due for a rest, so it could be a sign it's gonna drop. On the flip side, when the RSI goes too low, it's like the asset is pumped up and ready to go, so it might be a sign it's gonna bounce back up. Basically, it helps traders figure out if a stock is worn out or revved up, which can be handy for making decisions about buying or selling.
The RSI Accelerator takes the difference between a short-term RSI(5) and a longer-term RSI(14) to detect short-term movements. When the short-term RSI rises more than the long-term RSI, it typically refers to a short-term upside acceleration.
The conditions of the signals through the RSI Accelerator are as follows:
* A bullish signal is generated whenever the Accelerator surpasses -20 after having been below it.
* A bearish signal is generated whenever the Accelerator breaks 20 after having been above it.
RSI Overbought/Oversold [Overlay Highlighter]Indicator to show when the RSI is in oversold(Below 30) or overbought (Above 70) conditions. The background color of the chart changes colors in the areas where the above conditions are met.
Price can often reverse in these areas. However, this depends on the strength of the trend and price may continue higher or lower in the direction of the overall trend.
Divergence has been added to aid the user in timing reversals. Divergences are plotted by circles above or below the candles. Divergence is confirmed so there is a delay of one candle before the signal is given on the previous candle. Again, everything depends on the strength of the trend so use proper risk management.
Once the RSI has entered into oversold/overbought conditions, it is recommended to wait for divergence before entering into the trade near areas of support or resistance. It is recommended to utilize this strategy on the H4 timeframe, however, this particular strategy works on all timeframes.
This indicator is a modified version of seoco's RSI Overbought/Oversold + Divergence Indicator . The user interface has been refined, is now overlayed on the chart, and my own divergence code has been inserted.

Index investingThe Index Investing indicator simplifies decision-making for adding to Index ETF's Long-term investments. By utilizing a percentage discount methodology, it highlights potential opportunities to enhance portfolios. This straightforward tool aids in identifying favorable moments to invest based on calculated price discounts from selected reference points, making the process more systematic and less subjective.
🔶 SETTINGS
Reference Price: Choose between 'All-Time-High' or 'Start of the Year' as the basis for calculating discount levels. This allows for flexibility in strategy depending on market conditions or investment philosophy.
Discount 1 %, Discount 2 %, Discount 3 %: These inputs define the percentage below the reference price at which buy signals are generated. They represent strategic entry points at discounted prices.
🔶 Default Parameters
The default parameters of 4.13%, 8.26%, and 12.39% for the discount levels are chosen based on the average 5-year return of the NSE:NIFTY Index, which stands at approximately 12.39%. By dividing this return into three parts, we obtain a structured approach to capturing potential upside at varying levels of market retracement, providing a logical basis for the selected default values.
Users have the flexibility to modify these parameters, tailoring the indicator to fit their unique approach and market outlook.
🔶 How Levels Are Calculated
Discount levels are calculated using the formula: Discount Price = Reference Price * (1 - Discount %) . This succinct approach establishes specific entry points below the chosen reference, such as an all-time high or the year's start price.
🔶 How Are the Buy Labels Generated
Buy signals are generated when the market price(Low of the candle) crosses under any of the defined discount levels. Each level has a corresponding buy label ('Buy 1', 'Buy 2', 'Buy 3'), which is activated upon the price crossing below the specified discount level and is only reset at the beginning of a new year or upon reaching a new reference high, ensuring signals are not repetitive for the same price level.
🔶 Other Features
Alerts: The indicator provides alerts for each buy signal, notifying potential entry points at their defined discount levels. The alert triggers only once per candle.
Year Marker: A vertical line with an accompanying label marks the start of each trading year on the chart. This feature aids in visualizing the temporal context of buy signals and reference price adjustments.
Alligator + Fractals + Divergent & Squat Bars + Signal AlertsThe indicator includes Williams Alligator, Williams Fractals, Divergent Bars, Market Facilitation Index, Highest and Lowest Bars, maximum and minimum peak of Awesome Oscillator, and signal alerts based on Bill Williams' Profitunity strategy.
MFI and Awesome Oscillator
According to the Market Facilitation Index Oscillator, the Squat bar is colored blue, all other bars are colored according to the Awesome Oscillator color, except for the Fake bars, colored with a lighter AO color. In the indicator settings, you can enable the display of "Green" bars (in the "Green Bars > Show" field). In the indicator style settings, you can disable changing the color of bars in accordance with the AO color (in the "AO bars" field), including changing the color for Fake bars (in the "Fake AO bars" field).
MFI is calculated using the formula: (high - low) / volume.
A Squat bar means that, compared to the previous bar, its MFI has decreased and at the same time its volume has increased, i.e. MFI < previous bar and volume > previous bar. A sign of a possible price reversal, so this is a particularly important signal.
A Fake bar is the opposite of a Squat bar and means that, compared to the previous bar, its MFI has increased and at the same time its volume has decreased, i.e. MFI > previous bar and volume < previous bar.
A "Green" bar means that, compared to the previous bar, its MFI has increased and at the same time its volume has increased, i.e. MFI > previous bar and volume > previous bar. A sign of trend continuation. But a more significant trend confirmation or warning of a possible reversal is the Awesome Oscillator, which measures market momentum by calculating the difference between the 5 Period and 34 Period Simple Moving Averages (SMA 5 - SMA 34) based on the midpoints of the bars (hl2). Therefore, by default, the "Green" bars and their opposite "Fade" bars are colored according to the color of the Awesome Oscillator.
According to Bill Williams' Profitunity strategy, using the Awesome Oscillator, the third Elliott wave is determined by the maximum peak of AO in the range from 100 to 140 bars. The presence of divergence between the maximum AO peak and the subsequent lower AO peak in this interval also warns of a possible correction, especially if the AO crosses the zero line between these AO peaks. Therefore, the chart additionally displays the prices of the highest and lowest bars, as well as the maximum or minimum peak of AO in the interval of 140 bars from the last bar. In the indicator settings, you can hide labels, lines, change the number of bars and any parameters for the AO indicator - method (SMA, Smoothed SMA, EMA and others), length, source (open, high, low, close, hl2 and others).
Bullish Divergent bar
🟢 A buy signal (Long) is a Bullish Divergent bar with a green circle displayed above it if such a bar simultaneously meets all of the following conditions:
The high of the bar is below all lines of the Alligator indicator.
The closing price of the bar is above its middle, i.e. close > (high + low) / 2.
The low of the bar is below the low of 2 previous bars or below the low of one previous bar, and the low of the second previous bar is a lower fractal (▼). By default, Divergent bars are not displayed, the low of which is lower than the low of only one previous bar and the low of the 2nd previous bar is not a lower fractal (▼), but you can enable the display of any Divergent bars in the indicator settings (by setting the value "no" in the " field Divergent Bars > Filtration").
The following conditions strengthen the Bullish Divergent bar signal:
The opening price of the bar, as well as the closing price, is higher than its middle, i.e. Open > (high + low) / 2.
The high of the bar is below all lines of the open Alligator indicator, i.e. the green line (Lips) is below the red line (Teeth) and the red line is below the blue line (Jaw). In this case, the color of the circle above the Bullish Divergent bar is dark green.
Squat Divergent bar.
The bar following the Bullish Divergent bar corresponds to the green color of the Awesome Oscillator.
Divergence on Awesome Oscillator.
Formation of the lower fractal (▼), in which the low of the Divergent bar is the peak of the fractal.
Bearish Divergent bar
🔴 A signal to sell (Short) is a Bearish Divergent bar under which a red circle is displayed if such a bar simultaneously meets all the following conditions:
The low of the bar is above all lines of the Alligator indicator.
The closing price of the bar is below its middle, i.e. close < (high + low) / 2.
The high of the bar is higher than the high of 2 previous bars or higher than the high of one previous bar, and the high of the second previous bar is an upper fractal (▲). By default, Divergent bars are not displayed, the high of which is higher than the high of only one previous bar and the high of the 2nd previous bar is not an upper fractal (▲), but you can enable the display of any Divergent bars in the indicator settings (by setting the value "no" in the " field Divergent Bars > Filtration").
The following conditions strengthen the Bearish Divergent bar signal:
The opening price of the bar, as well as the closing price, is below its middle, i.e. open < (high + low) / 2.
The low of the bar is above all lines of the open Alligator indicator, i.e. the green line (Lips) is above the red line (Teeth) and the red line is above the blue line (Jaw). In this case, the color of the circle under the Bearish Divergent bar is dark red.
Squat Divergent bar.
The bar following the Bearish Divergent bar corresponds to the red color of the Awesome Oscillator.
Divergence on Awesome Oscillator.
Formation of the upper fractal (▲), in which the high of the Divergent bar is the peak of the fractal.
Alligator lines crossing
Bars crossing the green line (Lips) of the open Alligator indicator is the first warning of a possible correction (price rollback) if one of the following conditions is met:
If the bar closed below the Lips line, which is above the Teeth line, and the Teeth line is above the Jaw line, while the closing price of the previous bar is above the Lips line.
If the bar closed above the Lips line, which is below the Teeth line, and the Teeth line is below the Jaw line, while the closing price of the previous bar is below the Lips line.
The intersection of all open Alligator lines by bars is a sign of a deep correction and a warning of a possible trend change.
Frequent intersection of Alligator lines with each other is a sign of a sideways trend (flat).
Signal Alerts
To receive notifications about signals when creating an alert, you must select the condition "Any alert() function is call", in which case notifications will arrive in the following format:
D — timeframe, for example: D, 4H, 15m.
🟢 BDB⎾ - a signal for a Bullish Divergent bar to buy (Long), triggers once after the bar closes and includes additional signals:
/// — if Alligator is open.
⏉ — if the opening price of the bar, as well as the closing price, is above its middle.
+ Squat 🔷 - Squat bar or + Green ↑ - "Green" bar or + Fake ↓ - Fake bar.
+ AO 🟩 - if after the Divergent bar closes, the oscillator color change for the next bar corresponds the green color of the Awesome Oscillator. ┴/┬ — AO above/below the zero line. ∇ — if there is divergence on AO in the interval of 140 bars from the last bar.
🔴 BDB⎿ - a signal for a Bearish Divergent bar to sell (Short), triggers once after the bar closes and includes additional signals:
/// — if Alligator is open.
⏊ — if the opening price of the bar, as well as the closing price, is below its middle.
+ Squat 🔷 - Squat bar or + Green ↑ - "Green" bar or + Fake ↓ - Fake bar.
+ AO 🟥 - if after the Divergent bar closes, the oscillator color change for the next bar corresponds to the red color of the Awesome Oscillator. ┴/┬ — AO above/below the zero line. ∇ — if there is divergence on AO in the interval of 140 bars from the last bar.
Alert for bars crossing the green line (Lips) of the open Alligator indicator (can be disabled in the indicator settings in the "Alligator > Enable crossing lips alerts" field):
🔴 Crossing Lips ↓ - if the bar closed below the Lips line, which is above than the other lines, while the closing price of the previous bar is above the Lips line.
🟢 Crossing Lips ↑ - if the bar closed above the Lips line, which is below the other lines, while the closing price of the previous bar is below the Lips line.
The fractal signal is triggered after the second bar closes, completing the formation of the fractal, if alerts about fractals are enabled in the indicator settings (the "Fractals > Enable alerts" field):
🟢 Fractal ▲ - upper (Bearish) fractal.
🔴 Fractal ▼ — lower (Bullish) fractal.
⚪️ Fractal ▲/▼ - both upper and lower fractal.
↳ (H=high - L=low) = difference.
If you redirect notifications to a webhook URL, for example, to a Telegram bot, then you need to set the notification template for the webhook in the indicator settings in the "Webhook > Message" field (contains a tooltip with an example), in which you just need to specify the text {{message}}, which will be automatically replaced with the alert text with a ticker and a link to TradingView.
‼️ A signal is not a call to action, but only a reason to analyze the chart to make a decision based on the rules of your strategy.

MFI и Awesome Oscillator
Awesome Oscillator.
Alligator.
е. close > (high + low) / 2.
е. Open > (high + low) / 2.
Awesome Oscillator.
Awesome Oscillator.
Alligator.
е. close < (high + low) / 2.
е. open < (high + low) / 2.
Awesome Oscillator.
Awesome Oscillator.
Alligator

Grucha Percentage Index (GPI) V2Grucha Percentage Index originally created by Polish coder named Grzegorz Antosiewicz in 2011 as mql code. This code is adapted by his original code to tradingview's pinescript.
What Does it Do
GPI is an oscillator that finds the lowest/highest prices with certain depth and generates signals by comparing the bull and bear bars. It use two lines, one is the original GPI calculation, the other is the smoothed version of the original line.
How to Use
GPI can catch quick volatility based movements and can be used as a confirmation indicator along with your existing trading system. When GDI (default color yellow) crosses above the GDI MA (default colored blue) it can be considered as a bullish movement and reverse can be considered as bearish movement.
How does it Work
The main calculation is done via the code below:
for i=0 to length
if candleC < 0
minus += candleC
if candleC >= 0
plus -= candleC
Simply we are adding green and red bars seperately and then getting their percentage to the bullish movement to reflect correctly in a 0-100 z-score enviroment via the code below:
res = (math.abs(minus)/sum)*100
Rest is all about plotting the results and adding seperate line with smoothing.
Note
These kind of oscillators are not designed to be used alone for signal generation but rather should be used in combination with different indicators to increase reliability of your signals.
Happy Trading.

Economic Growth Index (XLY/XLP)Keeping an eye on the macroeconomic environment is an essential part of a successful investing and trading strategy. Piecing together and analysing its complex patterns are important to detect probable changing trends. This may seem complicated, or even better left to experts and gurus, but it’s made a whole lot easier by this indicator, the Economic Growth Index (EGI).
Common sense shows that in an expanding economy, consumers have access to cash and credit in the form of disposable income, and spend it on all sorts of goods, but mainly crap they don’t need (consumer discretionary items). Companies making these goods do well in this phase of the economy, and can charge well for their products.
Conversely, in a contracting economy, disposable income and credit dry up, so demand for consumer discretionary products slows, because people have no choice but to spend what they have on essential goods. Now, companies making staple goods do well, and keep their pricing power.
These dynamics are represented in EGI, which plots the Rate of Change of the Consumer Discretionary ETF (XLY) in relation to the Consumer Staples ETF (XLP). Put simply, green is an expanding phase of the economy, and red shrinking. The signal line is the market, a smoothed RSI of the S&P500. Run this on a Daily timeframe or higher. Check it occasionally to see where the smart money is heading.
MUJBOT - Multi-TF RSI Table
The "Multi-TF RSI Table" indicator is a comprehensive tool designed to present traders with a quick visual summary of the Relative Strength Index (RSI) across multiple timeframes, all within a single glance. It is crafted for traders who incorporate multi-timeframe analysis into their trading strategy, aiming to enhance decision-making by identifying overall market sentiment and trend direction. Here's a rundown of its features:
User Inputs: The indicator includes customizable inputs for the RSI and Moving Average (MA) lengths, allowing users to tailor the calculations to their specific trading needs. Additionally, there is an option to display or hide the RSI & MA table as well as to position it in various places on the chart for optimal visibility.
Multi-Timeframe RSI & MA Calculations: It fetches RSI and MA values from different timeframes, such as 1 minute (1m), 5 minutes (5m), 15 minutes (15m), 1 hour (1h), 4 hours (4h), and 1 day (1D). This multi-timeframe approach provides a thorough perspective of the momentum and trend across different market phases.
Trend and Sentiment Analysis: For each timeframe, the script determines whether the average RSI is above or below the MA, categorizing the trend as "Rising", "Falling", or "Neutral". Moreover, it infers market sentiment as "Bullish" or "Bearish", based on the relationship between the RSI and its MA.
Dynamic Color-Coding: The indicator uses color-coding to convey information quickly. It highlights the trend and sentiment cells in the table with green for "Bullish" and red for "Bearish" conditions. It also shades the timeframe cells based on the RSI value, with varying intensities of green for "Oversold" conditions and red for "Overbought" conditions, providing an immediate visual cue of extreme market conditions.
Customization and Adaptability: The script is designed with customization in mind, enabling users to adjust the RSI and MA lengths according to their trading strategy. Its adaptable interface, which offers the option to display or hide the RSI & MA table, ensures that the tool fits into different trading setups without cluttering the chart.
Ease of Use: By consolidating critical information into a simple table, the "Multi-TF RSI Table" indicator saves time and simplifies the analysis process for traders. It eliminates the need to switch between multiple charts or timeframes, thus streamlining the trading workflow.
In essence, the "Multi-TF RSI Table" is a powerful indicator for Pine Script users on TradingView, offering a multi-dimensional view of market dynamics. It is ideal for both novice and experienced traders who seek to enhance their technical analysis with an at-a-glance summary of RSI trends and market sentiment across various timeframes.
Blockunity Excess Index (BEI)Identify excess zones resulting in market reversals by visualizing price deviations from an average.
The Excess Index (BEI) is designed to identify excess zones resulting in reversals, based on price deviations from a moving average. This moving average is fully customizable (type, period to be taken into account, etc.). This indicator also multiplies the moving average with a configurable coefficient, to give dynamic support and resistance levels. Finally, the BEI also provides reversal signals to alert you to any risk of trend change, on any asset.
The Idea
The goal is to provide the community with a visual and customizable tool for analyzing large price deviations from an average.
How to Use
Very simple to use, this indicator plots colored zones according to the price's deviation from the moving average. Moving average extensions also provide dynamic support and resistance. Finally, signals alert you to potential reversal points.
Elements
The Moving Average
The Moving Average, which defaults to a gray line over 200 periods, serves as a stable reference point. It is accompanied by an Index, whose color varies from yellow to orange to red, offering an overview of market conditions.
Extensions
These dynamic lines can be used to determine effective supports and resistances.
Signals
Green and red triangles serve as clear indicators for buy and sell signals.
Settings
Mainly, the type of moving average is configurable. The default is an SMA.
A Simple Moving Average (SMA) calculates the average of a selected range of prices by the number of periods in that range.
But you can also, for example, switch the mode to EMA.
The Exponential Moving Average (EMA) is a moving average that places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data points:
You also have WMA.
A Weighted Moving Average (WMA) gives more weight on recent data and less on past data:
And finally, the possibility of having a PCMA.
PCMA takes into account the highest and lowest points in the lookback period and divides this by two to obtain an average:
You can change other parameters such as lookback periods, as well as the coefficient used to define extension lines.
You can refer to the tooltips directly in the indicator parameters.
For those who prefer a minimalist display, you can activate a "Bar Color" in the settings (You must also uncheck "Borders" and "Wick" in your Chart Settings), and deactivate all other elements as you wish:
Finally, you can customize all the different colors, as well as the parameters of the table that indicates the Index value and the asset trend.
How it Works
The Index is calculated using the following method:
abs_distance = math.abs(close - base_ma)
bei = (abs_distance - ta.lowest(abs_distance, lookback_norm)) / (ta.highest(abs_distance, lookback_norm) - ta.lowest(abs_distance, lookback_norm)) * 100
Signals are triggered according to the following conditions:
A Long (buy) signal is triggered when the Index falls below 100, when the closing price is lower than 5 periods ago, and when the price is under the moving average.
A Short (sell) signal is triggered when the Index falls below 100, when the closing price is greater than 5 periods ago, and when the price is above the moving average.
Amazing Oscillator (AO) [Algoalpha]Description:
Introducing the Amazing Oscillator indicator by Algoalpha, a versatile tool designed to help traders identify potential trend shifts and market turning points. This indicator combines the power of the Awesome Oscillator (AO) and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) to create a new indicator that provides valuable insights into market momentum and potential trade opportunities.
Key Features:
Customizable Parameters: The indicator allows you to customize the period of the RSI calculations to fine-tune the indicator's responsiveness.
Visual Clarity: The indicator uses user-defined colors to visually represent upward and downward movements. You can select your preferred colors for both bullish and bearish signals, making it easy to spot potential trade setups.
AO and RSI Integration: The script combines the AO and RSI indicators to provide a comprehensive view of market conditions. The RSI is applied to the AO, which results in a standardized as well as a less noisy version of the Awesome Oscillator. This makes the indicator capable of pointing out overbought or oversold conditions as well as giving fewer false signals
Signal Plots: The indicator plots key levels on the chart, including the RSI threshold(Shifted down by 50) at 30 and -30. These levels are often used by traders to identify potential trend reversal points.
Signal Alerts: For added convenience, the indicator includes "x" markers to signal potential buy (green "x") and sell (red "x") opportunities based on RSI crossovers with the -30 and 30 levels. These alerts can help traders quickly identify potential entry and exit points.
Purchasing Managers Index (PMI)The Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) is a widely recognized economic indicator that provides crucial insights into the health and performance of an economy's manufacturing and services sectors. This index is a vital tool for anticipating economic developments and trends, offering an early warning system for changes in these sectors.
The PMI is calculated based on surveys conducted among purchasing managers in various businesses and organizations. These managers are asked about their perceptions of current business conditions and their expectations for future economic activity within their sectors. The responses are then compiled and used to calculate the PMI value.
A PMI value above 50 typically indicates that the manufacturing or services sector is expanding, suggesting a positive economic outlook. Conversely, a PMI value below 50 suggests contraction, which may be an early indication of economic challenges or a potential recession.
In summary, the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) is an essential economic indicator that assesses the health of manufacturing and services sectors by surveying purchasing managers' opinions. It serves as an early warning system for changes in economic activity and is a valuable tool for forecasting economic trends and potential crises.
This code combines the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data with two Simple Moving Averages (SMA) and some visual elements.
Let's break down how this indicator works:
1. Loading PMI Data:
The indicator loads data for the "USBCOI" symbol, which represents the PMI data. It fetches the monthly closing prices of this symbol.
2. Calculating Moving Averages:
Two Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) are calculated based on the PMI data. The first SMA, sma_usbcoi, has a length defined by the input parameter (default: 2). The second SMA, sma2_usbcoi, has a different length defined by the second input parameter (default: 14).
3. Color Coding and Thresholds:
The line color of the PMI plot is determined based on the value of the PMI. If the PMI is above 52, the color is teal; if it's below 48, the color is red; otherwise, it's gray. These threshold values are often used to identify specific conditions in the PMI data.
4. Crossing Indicator:
A key feature of this indicator is to determine if the PMI crosses the first SMA (sma_usbcoi) from top to bottom while also being above the value of 52. This is indicated by the crossedUp variable. This condition suggests a specific situation where the PMI crosses a short-term moving average while indicating strength (above 52).
5. Visual Elements:
A "💀" skull emoji is defined as skullEmoji.
The PMI is plotted on the chart with color coding based on its value, as described earlier.
The two SMAs are also plotted on the chart.
When the crossedUp condition is met (PMI crosses the first SMA from top to bottom while above 52), a skull emoji (indicating potential danger) is plotted at the top of the indicator window.

Laguerre RSI - non repaintingIt seems that the traditional Laguerre* functions repaint due to the gamma parameter.
That goes even for the editorial pick here.
But one could use calculation period instead of "gamma" parameter. This gives us a non-repainting Laguerre RSI fit for scalping trends.
At first glance, I haven't seen anyone do this with a pine script, but I could be wrong because it's not a big deal.
So here is a variation of Laguerre RSI, without repainting. It's a little bit more insensitive, but this is not of great importance, since only the extreme values are used for confirmation.
( * Laguerre RSI is based on John EHLERS' Laguerre Filter to avoid the noise of RSI.)
And if you implement this indicator into a strategy (like I do) I can give you a trick.
Traditionaly the condition is at follows:
LaRSI = cd == 0 ? 100 : cu / (cu + cd)
(this is the final part of the indicator before the plotting)
LongLaguerre= LaRSIupb
It's fine for the short (ot exit long), but for the long is better to make a swich between the CD and CU parameters, as follows:
LaRSI1 = cd == 0 ? 100 : cu / (cu + cd)
LaRSI2 = cu == 0 ? 100 : cu / (cu + cd)
LongLaguerre= LaRSI2upb
