Intraday
Simple Moving Average CrossoverThis strategy uses two moving averages of 21 and 8 to generate buy or sell signal.
This is for purely intraday trades and best use in 15 min time frame
This strategy uses angle/slope of ma to filter out period of sideways movement and only generate signals when the stock starts trending in one direction
How to use this
1) Buy when the buy is generated
2) Sell when the sell is generated
Properties you can tweak to adjust this strategy to your needs are
1) angle -> Adjust this properties to define how much slope would be considered to generate the signals, higher the values lesser the trades generated.
2) atr period-> this is to adjust the atr period
3) ma source -> close is considered as source , you can use open or high or low
Cvwap-Pvwap 2.0A simple vwap based Intraday trend indicator.
Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) - the average price weighted by volume, starts when trading opens and ends when it closes. This can help institutions buy or sell in large orders, without disturbing the market.
After buying or selling, institutions compare instrument price to closing VWAP values at end of the day.
For big financial institutions;
A buy order executed below the VWAP value, considered a good fill because the security was bought at a below average price.
A sell order executed above the VWAP would be deemed a good fill because it was sold at an above average price.
Simple price based moving average is not helpful for them; = as it doesn't incorporates volume traded. Hence - VWAP :)
So how it helps us in decoding the IntraDay-trend? - Through a 2 day vwap co-relation.
So, Closing value of previous day vwap = Pvwap
Today's running vwap = Cvwap
Defining the IntraDay Trend:
Moderately Bullish = candle closing price above Pvwap but below Cvwap
Super Bullish = Closing price is above both (Cvwap and Pvwap)
Moderately Bearish = Closing price is above Cvwap but below Pvwap
Super Bearish = Closing Price is below both (Cvwap and Pvwap)
A big gap between the Cvwap and the candle closing price defines the strong participation from institutions in that direction. (Strong Trend)
Moving with the smart money, in the overall trend is a wise decision for any intraday trader and this helps at its best.
Intraday SeasonalityDay trading trend filter indicator designed to hep get better entries or exits based on historical opens and closes each hour.
This indicator is NOT designed as an entry or exit signal. The purpose behind it is to give you statistical information about how likely certain times of day are either bullish, bearish or neutral and use that to confirm or reject other trading signals.
For example you might be anticipating a breakout based on your strategy or another indicator but see that the next few hours are usually bearish and re-evaluate entering the trade.
The Intraday Seasonality indicator calculates the percentage of candles per hour that had a higher close than open.
Default settings are:
- a look-back of 90 days.
- extreme bullish (bright green) above 74%
-extreme bearish (bright red) below 25%
- bullish (green) above 55%
- bearish (red) below 45%
- neutral (white) exactly 50%
- no trend (gray) 46% - 54%
All of these are updatable via the settings.
This indicator is designed to work only on the 1 hour timeframe.
To use the indicator set your local timezone offset in the indicator settings.
*Due to daylight savings and certain timezones changing throughout the year there is a timezone override in the indicator settings if the indicator doesn't pick up the correct local time.

Midpoint resets daily.
GMS: Market Performance IndicatorThis is just an easy way to visualize what the market's performance is (in price or percent) in any given session for any chosen time frame. The magnitude of price moves are not the same today as they were 50 years ago, which is why I included the percent selection to better compare historical movements. Time frame selections are Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly. I added in a little background highlight to show the start of a new session as well.
The source code is open so feel free to poke around!
Hope this helps,

MAST TrendHello Traders !!
This is a simple super trend based MAST trend.
By default the supertrend is 10 period with 3 ATR multiplier.
A moving average is used to benefit from the pullback entries.
Bullish Pullback : Price above Supertrend & below MA
Bullish: Price above Supertrend and above MA
Bearish pullback : Price below Supertrend & above MA
Bearish : Price below Supertrend & below MA
Refer to investopedia or any relevant articles for in detail about Supertrend.
Intraday Caja de AlfredoThis indicator is not a strategy by itself, and only works intraday.
A box will start to draw an hour after the market open and continue being drawn for the next two hours. This is being done due to the theory of it being the time where small investors and institutions are moving the price with less volatility than the first hour.
Once the Box has been closed support and resistance of the day will be drawn. Price should try remaining between t his two.
There are alerts for the breakthrough of the box to either upside or downside. This should be followed by a corresponding direction candle pattern, in order to expect a higher/lower break.
ARR VWAP IntradayIntra day VWAP Strategy
Strategy is
Buy when vwap goes up and RSI above 50 (Can be modified) .
Sell wehn vwap goes down and rsi bellow 50 (Can be modified)
Exit all at market close hour specified
Intraday Mid PointA moving indicator that is overlaid main chart. Identifies the start of the day, and then applies this formula:
( Current High of Day + Current Low of Day ) / 2, to get the mid point. It is a useful tool to identify buy side or sell side control, along with vwap.
Delta Volume Weighted - IntradayResets at the start of the day's session (9:50 am on the ASX).
Takes the first candle and checks if its a green candle (close > open), and adds the volume to a total (which starts at 0 at the start of the day).
Subtracts it if the candles in red.
Continues to do this along with all the candles.
The volume is also multiplied by the difference between open and close so that large candles with large volume have more weight and move the indicator more.
Intraday volatility expectationManaging expectation is important for price action traders.
This indicator mainly for intraday reference, and it plots the price change/ volatility statistics on a bar-to-bar basis, with the marking of +/- 1 and 2 sigma SD .
The user can refer to the historical volatility to manage their expectation of the velocity of price action by referring to these statistics.
SHARP PIVOTS (INTRADAY LEVELS) Hi friends,,
This indicator is based on modified fib levels.
Buy above 23.7% from recent low and sell below 72.7% from recent high.
15 mins close above or below the entry levels Recommended.
use Heiken Ashi candles for trend confirmation.
USE RSI 60/40(UNCONVENTIONAL) For additional conformation
Custom Timeframe VWAPThis script calculates the daily VWAP from any specified starting point intraday. Also colors the VWAP based on whether price is above or below it.
Standard vwap starts at day open 0 GMT, however there are some exchanges for eg. Deribit that have seen they use a different time period to begin VWAP calculations. This is useful in such cases.
You need to specify the hours & minutes of the VWAP that want to use. VWAP will be hidden on any timeframe higher than specified "Highest Visible Timeframe".
Also a big thanks to u/mortdiggiddy as he helped with this script.
ORB - Opening Range BreakoutThis script plots the high/low of any custom session and extends it until the daily close. It does not show on the timeframe higher than the length of custom opening session by default.
The time period of opening range & the max timeframe to display it on can be adjusted from the settings.
So for eg. if want to use 5m ORB to trade, then set "ORB total time" as 5min & "Session Time" as whatever is the opening 5mins time period of ticker that are trading.
Intraday BUY/SELLBUY & SELL Scalp Signals for Crude Oil Future Contracts (Or it can be used with any scrip with good amount of Volume) based on Sma & RSI overbought/oversold alert (!) for possible reversal indication.
Take Buy position only if candle breaks the high of alert candle & for Sell positions, take position if candle breaks low of the alert candle.
Best to perform with 3 min timeframe on Crude Oil Futures

Daily SMA time periods can be adjusted in the settings.
Based on the following script:
{INDYAN} RSI + MACDModded RSI and MACD for intraday use. If rsi above 60 and macd is above zero line then go for buy and if rsi is below 40 and macd below zero line then go for sell side. use it in small timeframe i.e. 3 minute or less.
better for scalp trading
Happy Trading

FTSMA - Trend is your frendThis my new solid strategy: if you belive that "TREND IS YOUR FRIEND" this is for you!
I have tested with many pairs and at many timeframes and have profit with just minor changes in settings.
I suggest to use it for intraday trading .
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: this is a trend following strategy, so the target is to stay in the trade as much as possible. If your trading style is more focused on scalping and/or pullbaks, this strategy is not for you.
This strategy uses moving averages applied to Fourier waves for forecasting trend direction.
How strategy works:
- Buy when fast MA is above mid MA and price is above slow MA, which acts as a trend indicator.
- Sell when fast MA is below mid MA and price is below slow MA, which acts as a trend indicator.
Strategy uses a lot of pyramiding orders because when you are in a flat market phase it will close 1 or 2 orders with a loss, but when a big trend starts, it will have profit in a lot of orders.
So, if you analize carefully the strategy results, you will note that "Percent Profitable" is very low (30% in this case) because strategy opened a lot of orders also in flat markets with small losses, BUT "Avg # bars in winning trades" is very high and overall Profit is very high: when a big trend starts, orders are kept open for long time generating big profits.
Thanks to all pinescripters mentioned in the code for their snippets.
I have also a study with alerts. Next improvement (only to whom is interested to this script and follows me): study with alerts on multiple tickers all at one. Leave a comment if you want to have access to study.
HOW TO USE STRATEGY AND STUDY TOGHETER:
1- Add to chart the strategy first, so your workspace will be as clean as possible.
2- Open the Strategy Tester tab at footer of the page.
3- Modify settings to get best results (Profit, Profit Factor, Drawdown).
4- Add study with alerts to your chart with same setting of strategy.
I WILL PROVIDE A DETAILED QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE WITH THE STUDY!

Strategy - Bobo PAPATRHi I've revamped this bot mentioned in the linked idea to make it work with v4 of pine. In doing so there are some very significant changes to how it works. The main one is that it no longer uses traditional daily pivot calculations to calculate the bands. It creates a more dynamic intraday set of pivot points based on recent price action rather than yesterday's ohlc. As published, the bot is tuned for a 15 min time frame. But it actually works well on lower time frames you just need to adjust the lookback periods in settings a bit to re tune it. It's also tuned to ES really but will need tweaking for a different instrument at the very least.
The basic concept is recent price action is used to calculate a 'middle' around which red and green bands are located. Their position or width is largely determined by recent volatility. The middle line is again calculated from recent price action. The three lines from that form a tradeable range with green at the top and red at the bottom. The strategy is simple enough, it shorts as it sinks from outside red, and longs when rising above green. The basic principle being that once you enter that range you have a high probability of hitting the middle before you hit your stop loss. So the basic principle is you are trying to capture the inherent ranginess of liquid indices like S&P 500. That back and forth movement that happens. The bot is capturing this by fading extremes of a recent range but the problem with that is you'dd get murdered in a strong trend. To mitigate that there is a trend calculation running in the background the will prevent trading against firm trends mostly. So the bot should trade mostly in rangy conditions because that is what it is trying to do.
Bot will close issue close signals automatically upon crossing the middle, it also will close automatically at predefined stops or limits. These values are denominated in market mintick values. For example the CFD SPX500 has a mintick of 0.1. Therefore a stop value of 100 will equate to 10 points on the index. If trading the same market via ES1! the mintick value is different - 0.25. So in this case a value of 40 is required to set the stop at 10 points.
Anyway shout if you have questions. Hope it's useful.

Strategy - Bobo Intraday Swing Bot with filtersThis is an adapted version of my swing bot with additional filters that mean it works quite well on lower timeframes like 1min, 5 mins as long as you adjust the setting accordingly (reduce pivot timescale, band width)
Entry conditions are filtered by an invisible trend calculation running in the background so the bot doesn't repeatedly try and fail to fade a strong trend. It has just about everything you should need for basic use, stop losses and targets, automatically close trade at pivot.
I get good results on rangey instruments like major indices such as SPX / ES that kind of thing. Make sure you understand the minmum tick value of an index so the stop setting on the bot work properly
Hope it's useful!
