Daily Kijun with Bounce AlertsShows the daily Kijun on all timeframes using a period of 50, which makes it into a dynamic 50% fib of sorts, especially when it's flat. Also shows Kijun bounces labeled with Ks, and allows you to set alerts for bullish, bearish or bi-directional bounces.
It doesn't show any of the other Ichimoku components.
Kijun
Triple Kijun Trend by SpiralmanIspired from "Oscars Simple Trend Ichimoku Kijun-sen" by CapnOscar
Script displays 3 kijun lines: one for current TF, second one emulates it for TF 4 times higher, third one for x16.
For example on 1H chart there will be 3 kijuns: one for 1H, second one for 4H (emulated), third one for 16H (emulated).
Kijuns change colors based on their position relative to price.
Kijun Sen
The base line, the slower EMA derivative, and a dynamic representation of the mean. With that said, the Kijun serves as both critical support and resistance levels for price. How does it work, and why would the Kijun be superior to commonly used moving average indicators? Fun fact: The Kijun dynamically equalizes itself to be the 50% retracement (or 0.5 Fibonacci level) of price for any given swing, and price will ALWAYS gravitate to the Kijun at some point regardless of how far above or below it is from it. By taking the median of price extremes, the Kijun accounts for volatility that other MAs or EMAs do not. A flat horizontal Kijun means that price extremes have not changed, and that the current trend losing momentum. Crypto-adjusted calculation: (highest high + lowest low) / 2 calculated over the last 60 periods.
Kijun-based Fib Retracement MakerI noticed a while back that Ichimoku's Kijun line is generally the same as the 50% fib, particular when it's flat, so I coded this to draw fibs from that point. Obviously it draws too many (and maybe someone has a solution for this?) but I think it's a cool idea so here it is
My Ichimoku indicator & Strategyhello I'm a beginner in trading, but I try to learn how to code strategies.
I recoded the Ichimoku indicator, and created my personnal strategy based on it.
The backtesting is done from 1/1/2017 to today in 45 min Time Unit for candles, with a 1 000 € equity.
The trades are all Long Entries and Exits with no pyramiding, no short trades at all.
/!\ Exchanges commission fees are not calculated and can in reality easily divide by 2 the total profit (am I right guys?) /!\
A buy signal is triggered upon these conditions:
- close is above the Kuma (cloud)
AND
- close crosses over Kijunsen AND Kijunsen is not flat (calculated with rising and falling with input "Kijunsen Lag")
OR
- Close crosses over ChikouSpan AND there was a sell signal in the last 8 candles
Sell signal is the same but reversed.
I appreciate your feedback ! Maybe I will update this later if I get better results.
