Liquidity Heatmap LTF [LuxAlgo]This indicator displays column heatmaps highlighting candle bodies with the highest associated volume from a lower user selected timeframe.
Settings
LTF Timeframe: Lower timeframe used to retrieve the closing/opening price and volume data. Must be lower than the current chart timeframe.
Other settings control the style of the displayed graphical elements.
Usage
It can be of interest to show which candles from a lower timeframe had the highest associated volume, this allows for the highlighting of areas where a candle body was the most traded by market participants.
The area with the highest activity is highlighted in the script with a yellow color (or another user selected color) and additionally by two lines forming an interval.
When the candle body with the highest volume is overlapped by a candle body with lower volume this one will be highlighted instead, hence why certain areas of high activity might not be highlighted by the heatmap.
It is recommended to hide regular candles or use a more discrete graphical presentation of prices when using this tool. Lines are also displayed to highlight the full candle range as well as if a candle was bullish (in green) or bearish (in red). These lines can be hidden if the user is only interested in the heatmap.
Liquidity
Fractal Break Imbalance / Fair Value Gap (FVG) / Liquidity VoidFractal Break Imbalance / Fair Value Gap (FVG) / Liquidity Void
Order imbalances in either direction, either excess buy or sell orders, reduce liquidity. The market will seek to fill gaps sooner or later. The script marks an imbalance / FVG after a fractal break. It also marks any other imbalance.
Default Colours:
Green - Imbalance after fractal break to the upside
Red - Imbalance after fractal break to the downside
Yellow - Other imbalances
How To Use:
Gaps can be used to determine possible entries and targets. Those familiar with liquidity raids, supply and demand, and ICT concepts may realise it's potential.
Indicator in use:
ICT Index Futures Session LinesICT Index Futures Session Lines
Description:
The script is based on one of ICT's concepts on trading Index Futures. The script lays out the daily range from an intraday basis.
Range:
00:00 - New York Midnight
08:30 – New York Open (News events come out)
12:00/13:00 - New York Lunch (No trade time period)
13:30 - (Algorithm)
16:30 - Close
* The open, high and low lines are plotted from 00:00 to 08:30
How To Use:
You will need to check the daily bias. Prior to 8:30 you are to look for previous swing points where liquidity may exist. During the open you want to see if a high or low is taken out, and then wait for an energetic break/displacement for a potential FVG/imbalance retracement entry.
Strategy is for LTF (1 to 15m)
Default time zone is set to America/New_York (UTC New York), so lines will be plotted correctly regardless of user’s local UTC chart setting.
HTF Liquidity Levels█ OVERVIEW
The indicator introduces a new representation of the previous days, weeks, and months highs & lows ( DWM HL ) with a focus on untapped levels.
█ CONCEPTS
Untapped Levels
It is popularly known that the liquidity is located behind swing points or beyond higher time frames highs/lows (in a sense, an intraday swing point is a day high/low). These key areas are said "liquid" because of the accumulation of resting orders, mainly in the form of stop-loss orders. And this more significantly on higher time frames which have more time for stacking orders. As the result, the indicator aims to keep track of untapped levels that have their liquidity states intact.
Liquidity Pools
Once a liquidity level identified, or better, a cluster of liquidity levels work as magnets for the market. The price is more likely to make its way towards heavier pockets of liquidity, by proximity (the closest liquidity pool), and by difficulty (path with less obstacles). This phenomenon is referred as liquidity run, raid, purge, grab, hunt, sweep, you name it. Consequently, the indicator can help you frame a directional bias during your trading session.
█ NOTES
Drawings
Once a level is tapped, it is highlighted. At the end of each day, all tapped levels are cleared.
Session TPO Market ProfileIntroduction
Wikipedia: A Market Profile is an intra-day charting technique (price vertical, time/activity horizontal) devised by J. Peter Steidlmayer, a trader at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), ca 1959-1985. Steidlmayer was seeking a way to determine and to evaluate market value as it developed in the day time frame. The concept was to display price on a vertical axis against time on the horizontal, and the ensuing graphic generally is a bell shape--fatter at the middle prices, with activity trailing off and volume diminished at the extreme higher and lower prices. In this structure he recognized the 'normal', Gaussian distribution he had been introduced to in college statistics.
Important : The market profile tool is designed to be used on the 30min timeframe, however, you can modify its parameters and use it on lower timeframes (15/10/5min)
This indicators displays the following information
Session open
TPO
Value area calculation zone
POC
Highlight of Single prints
Session High/Low
The current price (TPO Profile is often used isolated without any candlesticks on it)
Parameters
Session beginning configuration (not coded with a session input yet)
Number of candles to use for calculation (default 13 for a single session)
Extend yesterday's levels (VAH/VAL/POC)
Show/Hide Market profile calculation area (background color)
Bars number (number of rows that will be used to draw the profile)
Show/Hide TPO's
TPO Colors customization (For in/out of VA, VAL/VAH/POC/High/Low levels and single prints)
Show/Hide High/Low levels
Show/Hide VAL/VAH/POC Levels as lines
Enable/Disable Single prints highlighting
Value area size (as percent)
Show/Hide current price (corresponding to a line scaled on the "close" price)
Additional Notes
Each session is drawn when the day is over
To use as much space as possible, TPO's are not directly drawn on the area of their calculation (which can be confusing if you use candlesticks directly over it)
This script will probably be updated in the future (especially concerning its implementation which is a bit spaghetti coded for now) .
If you have interesting suggestions about new features that are usual within market profile tools and missing from this script , don't hesitate to suggest it.
Makuchaku's trading tools - Liquidity visualizerThis indicator plots those pivots/fractals which have not been taken out by price, whereby showing where are the clusters of highs/lows where stop orders (or liquidity) could be hiding.
This is a fantastic tool for taking reversal trades.
Impermanent Loss TrackerThe indicator helps to track the percentage loss/gain of the quantity of the asset as a result of LP rebalancing due to price changes.
Calculations are based on the common AMM equation x * y = k.
This is the initial version of the indicator. It is certainly a subject to further improvement. If you have any suggestions send them here at andmax071@gmail.com.
Thank you for trying this out.
Demand & Supply Zones [eyes20xx]Demand & Supply Zones
This indicator helps to identify large moves driven by institutions.
What qualifies as a zone?
If the price moves (open to close) by more than a certain % in one candle or in a bullish / bearish run of candles, the zone is marked as a Demand or Supply zone .
0.8% is good for Crypto and Forex might be better with 0.4%. Play around with the % to match your requirements.
Active zones
A zone remains active until it is hit by the price. When it becomes inactive, the zone background becomes transparent.
Zone lines
Lines are displayed if the zone is active and within a certain % of the close. 3% is a good setting for Crypto.
A maximum of two lines are displayed for each zone type.
Ticker SummaryTicker Summary provides at-a-glance summary information about a ticker near the current bar on the chart:
P/E ratio
Fwd P/E ratio
PEG ratio
Floating shares vs. total shares outstanding
% of trading volume that was short over the last 3 days
Average True Range (ATR) over last 14 days
There are a few less common items of information:
How many ATR multiples the ATR is extended over the last 10 bars. This gives an idea of how far the stock is currently extended.
"R-frequency", explained below.
An optional "ATR Reticule" is shown near the price. This is useful for traders that use ATR as a guideline for price targets and stop losses. On the left is the # of ATRs the stock is currently above the session open. On the right is the # of ATRs the stock is extended above the 10-bar moving average.
R-frequency: a measure of liquidity relevant to your own trading size. It is the frequency at which 1-R of your trading account is traded for a stock. Formula:
(1-R worth of shares) / (average dollar value traded per second), where:
"1-R worth of shares" is how many shares you would buy for a stop loss of -1 ATR, with max risk dollar value based on the Balance and Max Risk % indicator options.
"Average dollar value traded per second" is the 14-day average of (avg(high, low and close) * daily volume)
R-frequency of a second or less is very liquid. If the value is higher (for example, over 60 seconds) the stock is less liquid and you may have some trouble filling limit orders quickly.
Volumetric colored candles with matching pivot point linesCandles are split into 10 categories based on their volume, and can be changed in the options. By default and in the images, white is very high volume, reds are high volume, yellows are medium volume, greens are low and dark-grey is very low.
Adjustments for scale are included in the options. The Magnitude option is a 10x multiplier, so 1=10, 2=100, 3=1000, etc., up to 9. There is also a Multiplier selection option where 1=1, 2=2, 3=3, 4=4, etc.
To attenuate for a given chart, these multipliers will need to be changed. In general, all white means you need to increase the Magnitude and all dark-grey means you need to decrease the magnitude. Somewhere between those two, the Multiplier can be used for further calibration. All this color coating is relational, like a spectrum. As you adjust you will see them maintaining their proportions as the candles switch color (ex. green become yellow while yellow becomes red).
I have also included pivot lines that follow the same logic for color coding. Two options exist for adjusting the pivot high and pivot low points respectively. They do not always correspond to the exact color of the candle producing them, but they should be a rough average (ie. red and green bars making yellow lines). They make for good indicators of how much liquidity may be at a certain support/resistance level. The lines can also be turned off altogether.
If your candles aren't looking right, go to settings of both regular candles and heikin-ashi, and uncheck both border and wick.
I still have some code to clean up and I plan on expanding upon this study. If you like my work consider tipping!
