Custom Lot Size Table with Calculator This TradingView script, is designed to empower traders with precise risk management tools. It allows for input of key parameters such as account balance, desired risk percentage, and a range for stop-loss pips, ensuring that the lot sizes calculated are perfectly aligned with risk tolerances.
The script dynamically adjusts the table size based on the user's input, offering a clear and concise visualization of the appropriate lot sizes..
Lot Size CalculatorThis is a public release of my Lot Size Calculator. I received a request for the code from a user so I am republishing the script so I can make it public (TV doesn't seem to give me the option to simply make it public once published ).
This is a very simple script to use. Simply choose your entry level and stop level on the chart and the indicator will calculate the lots. You can change your account risk and base currency units in the settings along with changing the scaling of the calculation to adjust the results with the lot sizing units of your broker. This allows the calculator to be used with CFDs, forex, Gold, etc.. Hope it helps in your trading it has been the single most useful tool in my trading as it has helped me always keep my risk locked up and on point that is why I released it.
One final quick note: Remember you can save your settings for your own account size and risk so you do not always have to modify the defaults when loading the script. Just a ease of use tip. I only add the script to my chart when I am about to take a trade so it is helpful to have everything set up in advance.
Scenario Close Price [Skiploss]You have opened multiple positions in your account ? This is what will help you calculate. It will definitely calculate the total lots size that you have opened. Furthermore, it will also calculate the results of how much profit or loss you have made. All you have to do is slide the line to the scenario line.
The system will calculate the data for each order that you have entered and display the results in the table in the top right of the screen.
Maximum is 7 positions.
Position Sizing Tool [Skiploss]The position sizing tool is an indicator to help calculate in trading, such as loss and gain, lots size, and risk-reward ratio.
When you open the indicator, you must select the entry, take profit, and stop-loss points.
Be careful;
The take profit point must be more than the entry point in the long position. On the other hand, it will be a short position.
The stop loss point must be less than the entry point in the long position. On the other hand, it will be a short position.
For contract size, you can find details on MetaTrader, Ctrader, or your broker.
Forex Lot Size CalculatorI grew very tired of opening a Forex Calculator Website in the moment I wanted to enter a trade copying and pasting the values as fast as I can to make sure my trade is the correct size like a responsible trader before I hit the buy button :') SO I put together this indicator tool to make the process faster and just better for myself. I have been using it for a bit and I have found it very helpful in my own process so I thought I should share it with the TV community.
The indicator does as it's title suggest. Simply add it to your chart follow to two prompts...Step one select your entry price. Step two select your stop loss price. The indicator will then load the position box for your trade. In the settings you can set your account balance, Risk % per trade and your risk to reward ratio. You also have the option to change the account base currency, the indicator will calculate the lots required to reflect the base currency that you have selected.
Things to note: This calculator is intended to give you a quick idea of an appropriate lot size for your desired trade there are many different factors that many influence the results of the calculations. Please take the time to review the results before entering your trades this tool is intend to add in your process; calculations are not guaranteed. The tool is for the Forex Market obviously.
For the most efficient way to deploy this tool I've found keeping it in my favorites section of my indictors is the best way to use it. I add it to the chart sets my points read the lots then remove it from the chart. You can modify the settings for the entry and stop each time and just leave the indictor on the chart however if you trade many pairs it becomes more tedious to type in manually the new price levels each time. It is far more simpler and fast to grab the tool out of the favs tab click the two points and read the result. Just remember to save your account settings ie: Balance, Risk, Base currency, etc...as the default settings of the indicator so everything is set up when you want to use it( You can save your settings at the bottom of the settings tab). I truly hope this tool helps your process. God bless and happy trading.
Position -/ lot size calculator - SonarlabCalculating a lot size in MetaTrader is normally not a quick task, but it is a very important one.
MetaTrader doesn't offer a fast way to calculate the position size, so, usually, a trader needs to manually perform several calculations.
When you are submitting an order, you are already supposed to know and type in the lot size for the trade. It can be frustrating to calculate - that's why we made this tool to speed up the process a little. Now you can also see your P/L live and calculate the lot size within seconds straight from Tradingview.
