Dear fellow traders, this is Tommy, and today I'd like to introduce you to the Multi-Moving Averages Ribbon (MMAR) indicator, which I believe to be one of the best MMAR indicators available on TradingView. Moving Averages is a popular technical analysis tool used to smooth out price data by creating an average of past price data points over a specified time period. They can be used to identify trends and provide a clearer view of price action, as well as generate buy and sell signals by observing crossovers between different moving average lines.
In the MMAR indicator, we have incorporated 12 different types of Moving Averages, including Simple Moving Averages (SMA), Exponential Moving Averages (EMA), Weighted Moving Averages (WMA), Hull Moving Averages (HMA), and Smoothed Moving Averages (SMMA), among others. This allows traders to choose the optimal type for their preferred trading commodities.
One common technique in technical analysis is using multiple Moving Averages with varying lengths, which provides a more comprehensive view of price action. By analyzing multiple Moving Averages with different timeframes, traders can better understand both short- and long-term trends and make more informed trading decisions. Some of the well-known combinations of multiple moving averages used by traders are (5, 9, 14, 21, 45), (6, 11, 16, 22, 51), [8, 13, 21, 55), (50, 100, 200), and (60, 120, 240).
Another way to gauge the strength of the market trend is to look for the arrangement of the Moving Averages. If they are in a sequential order, with the shortest on top and the longest on the bottom, it is most likely a bullish trend. On the other hand, if they are arranged in reverse order, with the shortest on the bottom and the longest on top, it is most likely a bearish trend. The 'Trend Light' in the indicator settings will automatically signal when the Moving Averages are in either an orderly or reverse arrangement.
Lastly, I have added a useful feature to the indicator: the 'MA Projection'. This feature projects and forecasts the Moving Averages in the future, allowing traders to easily identify confluence zones in future candlesticks. Please note that the projection levels may change in the case of extreme price action that significantly affects the Moving Averages.
This is free so any Tradingview users can use this indicator. Just search TOMMAR in the indicator section located on top of the chart.

Multimovingaverages
+ Multi-timeframe Multiple Moving Average LinesThis is a pretty simple script that plots lines for various moving averages (what I think are the most commonly used across all markets) of varying lengths of timeframes of the user's choosing. Timeframes range from 5 minutes up to one month, so regardless if you're a scalper or a swing trader there should be something here for you.
There are 8 lines (that can be turned on/off individually), which may seem like a lot, but if you use two averages and want to display four different timeframes for each, you can do that. The nice thing is that because the lines start plotting from the current bar they won't clutter up the screen. And obviously having moving averages from different timeframes on your chart makes price action more difficult to read (I mean sure, you can make them invisible, but who wants to do that all the time).
For each line there are two labels. One with the moving average type, and the other with its specific timeframe. I can't include the moving average length because it's not a string input. If anyone has a workaround for this, let me know, otherwise I would simply recommend setting different colors depending on the length, or if you only use one or two lengths and one or two moving averages this shouldn't be an issue. I had to use two labels because for the label text I couldn't include more than one string input, this is why there is an input for the 'moving average type label distance.'' You will want to adjust this depending on if you are trading crypto, futures, or forex because in some cases there may still be label overlap.
Pretty much everything else is self-explanatory.
I've added alerts. I might need to modify them if I can, because it would be nice for them to state the name and timeframe of the moving average. But I think this will do for now.
Enjoy!
Rollin' pseudo-Bollinger Bands 5 linear regression curves and new highs/lows mixed together from the basis for this indicator. Using slightly different logic an upper boundary and lower boundary are formed. Then the boundary's are built upon to show price channels within the band using variations of fib levels and the distance between the initial boundary's. Dots plotted show the inverse of the close price relative to either the upper or lower boundary depending on where the close is relative to the center of the band. This shows the market's tendency for symmetry which is useful when looking for reversals etc. If it's too cluttered feel free to turn off some things in the options and keep what you feel is helpful.
Multiple MAs + No Trend Zone + ATR WidgetThis is my first Pine Script attempt. Nothing special, just an "all in one" for the most common things I use, and what I have found to be the most common in a lot of strategies.
Great for free and limited accounts as it combines 7 total indicators into one.
-- First 5 indicators are Independant Moving Averages:
-Each one can be set for length, as well as source and type (SMA, EMA, SMMA, WMA, VWMA) individually
-- Second type (6th) of indicator is one I find extremly useful for staying OUT of consolidation trading. It's called a "No Trend Zone" indicator I swipped from the Hoffman Startegy. Basically, its set for a small deviation (0.5) of a 35 EMA, which creates a "Band" around the 35 line. When you have this "Band" flat or with no discernable incline/decline, with price action OR some or multiple moving averages inside this banded zone, it typically indicates a zone of consolidation. This will help you identify when you may be in one of those zones, that way you don't get trapped "waiting for paint to dry" before the market starts to move again with your position, and keep you from entering should you be considering the market at that time.
The last indicator is my favorite, and one I will refine a little deeper soon.
-- The ATR widget finishes us out. This widget can be customized for colors, turned on or off, and automatically rounds the ATR (ATR period based on the chart timeframe) to a nice readable number for what you're trading. It has settings to show or not, the length, what rounding style to use (forex pip 0.0001, forex/stock/etf/indicies 0.01) where to show it on the pane, a Multiplier Factor (for stop loss calculations automatically) and the colors.
***NOTE ABOUT ATR WIDGET:
I am primarily a forex trader, so the defaults are for Forex 0.0001. If you see some odd numbers (like 55798 on a current chart), check the inputs tab on the settings, and change the "ATR Style" from "Forex 0.0001" to "Forex/Stock/ETF/Indicies 0.01", and you should arrive with the correct number.
Hx MTF Moving AverageThis script provides a quick and easy access to different timeframes of a moving average in one indicator and one tab.
It handles up to 4 different timeframes and the current timeframe if it is different from the preset timeframes.
The moving average is not displayed if the current timeframe is higher than the preset timeframe, as per TradingView recommandations.
Available moving average types: sma , wma , ema , vwma , rma (RSI), hma (Hull) and smma (Smoothed).
The default settings provide an example of commonly used timeframes with associated colors ranked from Hot (shorter, more nervous) to Cold (longer, less nervous) while the current timeframe is displayed in gray.
These settings are just an example and are NOT meant to be used as a trading system! DYOR!
Hx 9 Moving AveragesThis script is designed to handle and provide quick and easy access to up to 9 different moving averages in one indicator and one tab.
Basically, it leverages the 'inline' and 'group' arguments of the 'input' function to provide you with a simple and straightforward way to:
- define your favorite moving averages by choosing type, length, source and color in the same tab and
- decide which moving averages to display in one click on a checkbox.
I do not like to have to select the color of an indicator in another tab. So, I put everything in the Inputs tab.
In addition, I like to "linewidth code" my moving averages so that a sma has a different thickness than an ema for example.
To do so, just define the line width that you want to associate with a moving average type in the "LINE WIDTH" section.
Once parameters are set to your liking, just check / uncheck the moving averages you want to display / hide (and save your settings as default).
This script handles 9 different moving averages and implements sma, wma, ema, vwma, rma (RSI) and hma (Hull).
It can easily be modified to change the number of available moving averages or include other types of moving averages.
The default settings provide an example of commonly used moving averages with associated colors ranked from Hot (more nervous) to Cold (less nervous) with the exception of Hull moving average displayed in gray.
These settings are just an example and are NOT meant to be used as a trading system! DYOR!
Hope it will be useful.
Enjoy and please let me know what you think in the comments.

RK's 15 ∴ Timeframed Multiple MA Types RibbonI developed this indicator focusing on the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) to help me in a more direct and visual way when enteringand exiting my market position.
The idea is to configure the indicator with your favorite Moving Averages and Lengths and Enter Long when the price is above and Short when the price is below.
I put the setup that I am testing now in the tooltips to give an example.
