Volume RSIThis is an indicator that shows the inflow and outflow of volume into a financial instrument. Volume is likely one of the most underrated source of data in trading unfortunately so there seems to be a lack of studies on it. The size of the candle is related to the strength of the move. The calculations for this are: cumulative sum of +volume if open < close OR -volume if open > close. This has been now transformed into an rsi style indicator to give a distinct advantage (or atleast thats the idea). The idea is that we take rsi of candles so we might as well take the rsi of volume candles. As far as I can tell it is faster/its own thing compared to regular rsi. I ave also added a smoothing option. Dont forget you can change the settings and you wont die. Thank you for your interest in this release I hope you find great piles of money with it.

RSI+OBVthis strategy works on the basis of crossovers of RSI at different period and OBV at different periods (separately). I am using it for Nifty and Bank Nifty. Entry for long can be taken when green bar appears; and exit has to be done when it disappears. Entry for short has to be taken when red bar appears; and exit has to be done when it disappears.
With little help from price action good results can be achieved.

"OBV Trend" is a trend strength indicator, that can be used to identify strong trends and also trend changes based on volume.
High positive values indicate strong volume on the buy side, high negative values indicate strong volume on the sell side.
An increasing OBV trend indicates a strengthening buy trend or a weakening sell trend,
decreasing OBV trend indicates a strengthening sell trend or weakening buy trend.
OBV trend is calculated by plotting a short vs. a long moving average and filling the difference in volume.
OBV trend metric is absolute volume.

Today I'm releasing an updated version of my previous Top & Bottom Finder (M.Right_Top & Bottom Finder 1.0).
The timing of this release couldn't be more perfect with everyone trying to 'find the bottom'. And the increased volatility that we've been seeing as of late.
Essentially, my indicator uses volatility and standard deviations among other things to assist you in finding the top or bottom of trends. You may also notice that it uses a lot of different strength indicators to provide an additional layer of complexity and confirmation.
Not just an RSI, but an RSI ema, smoothed OBV RSI's, and other volume RSI's. This is a truly unique and powerful tool for any Trader - whether you've just started or you've been trading for 20 years, I'm confident you will find value in the UPRIGHT Trading Top & Bottom Finder.
How to use it:
When it detects the trend Bottoming or Topping the histogram will change color. Bottom - Green/blue, Top - Red, (different shades of colors for different types of detection).
I've spent several hours tweaking the calculations and filters to enhance the accuracy, so this will be a noticeable upgrade from my original Top & Bottom Finder.
The length of the histogram bar can be an indication in itself, especially when it lines up close to one of the plotted lines and has noticeable direction change following this.
I've added a lot of text and pictures to help display it's capabilities, features, and customizability.
As always, it's fully customizable with alerts. Can toggle any thing on or off, and change the colors to suit your style.
3 Unique RSI's, different colors on the histogram will show different levels of detection. Some are more accurate in some timeframes than others. Bright Green and Bright Red are the most different from the rest.
I've jam-packed this indicator with Buy/Sell and Confirmation Signals and even background highlights (with colors that can mesh together). Feel free to find what works best for you.
RSI color indications and background highlights aid in confirmation. Also, as mentioned previously, sometimes a gray bar will land on a Fib and it will be a bottom signal.

McNamara Tally [CC]The McNamara's Tally was created by Nolan McNamara (Stocks and Commodities Feb 2022 pgs 44-45) and this aims to fix the issues with both the On Balance Volume and the Accumulation/Distribution Line by using a variation of Wilder's True Range to keep track of volume flow to better differentiate between bullish volume and bearish volume. I added a signal line to this indicator to provide clear buy and sell signals since the original didn't' have any so feel free to experiment and see if you come up with a better signal system. Buy when the indicator line turns green and sell when it turns red. I have included strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so stronger signals are darker in color and normal signals are lighter in color.

This is a support indicator to the Main Indicator which has also been published.
This indicator is from the basis of user Everget and a friend of mine on another site. This indicator has used a smoothing function in an attempt to provide more robust signals.
In this indicator the user is looking for:
Long trade: Upward sloping signal line and OBV greater than the signal line (shaded green).
Short trade: Downward sloping signal line and OBV less than the signal line (shaded red).
A horizontal signal line is a sign that the market is moving horizontally and trades should be placed very carefully. This indicator should definitely be used with the others in the suite to provide confluence when making a trade.
I've been using this successfully on the one hour FX charts, but seems to work equally as well on higher or lower time frames (not less than 15min).
The other indicators which are part of the suite are shown on the website which is highlighted in my signature at the bottom of the page. Purchase of the main indicator gives access to the full suite of eight indicators. I use the other indicators to confirm the direction of the trade and to determine if I want to trade or not. I use it along with the 2min, 15min and 4hr timeframes to identify the best entry window and how long I'm likely to be in the trade.

OBV-M is of course based on the classic indicator on balance volume originally developed by Joe Granville. Apirine then smooths the calculation and adds a signal line to help denote entry and exit points.

Default Settings:
Linear Regression of OBV: 34
Activate Vertical Bar Highlights and/or Signal Flags for:
- RSI crossing its Linear Regression . (Default: Both On)
Users can also do extra tuning in Style Section of Format options.
To use this indicator we need to observe the market's behaviour and identify which settings are fit for the timeframe and type market trading.
Recommended suggested settings
Linear Regression of OBV: 34/21
The market behaves differently when the pacing changes, volatility changes and when it trends or when it ranges. Develop an understanding of it with the help of this study.
