DonchianFib[Akcay]How does it work?
- The indicator detects the highest and lowest price level in the last x periods every time prices advance by x periods.
- From these values, retracement (0.618, 0.786) and expansion levels (1.272, 1.618, 2, 2.618, 3.14, 3.618, 4.236) are obtained.
- Since the symmetrical counterpart of the retracement levels is used, there are two of each of the 0.618 and 0.786 lines, for a total of four.
How can it be used?
- It can be used for step buying.
- It can be used for step selling.
- Can be used to set a profit target.
- Can be used to set a stop target.
- This indicator can be used in the same way as Pivot levels can be used. You can think of this indicator like the Pivot Points Standard indicator, where you set the period more flexibly.
Which indicators can it be combined with?
- I don't think there are any limitations, but I think it is compatible with trend detection indicators, trend detection with DonchianFib, and stepped buy/sell with limit orders.
- If you want to enter a position with mismatch signals, you can wait for the DonchianFib levels to break.
- Its use is limited by your imagination :)
Where does the name come from?
- As the name suggests, Donchian Channels. I was inspired by Donchian Channels when developing the indicator. Donchian channels show the highs and lows of prices over the last x number of periods. DonchianFib does this once for every x periods and uses the fibonacci levels to create upper and intermediate levels.
Note : I don't know if such an indicator has been done before or not. If it has been done, I haven't seen it in tradingview.
Not : Daha önce böyle bir göstergenin yapılıp yapılmadığını bilmiyorum. Yapıldı ise ben tradingview'da görmedim.
Pivot points and levels
Synapse Level IndexSynapse Level Index Indicator
This indicator simply allows the user to set their desired "Lookback Period",
and "Lookahead Period" in the Bars Back and Bars Ahead, Pivot Settings. Once
selected, the indicator tracks the highest high from X Bars Ahead, and the
lowest low, from Y Bars Back. Then, the indicator calculates the Mean Value.
Then, the indicator proceeds to draw the High to Low range by Eighths.
Fear and Greed increase at these levels psychologically. Volatility Ensues.
Enjoy,
Mr. Storm
Yearly High/Low IndicatorThis is a basic line drawing script which will draw lines for the highest and lowest prices for each year on a chart. High lines will be green and low lines will be red. Each line is labeled with the year and price that it represents. It takes in a single input value which is the year to start marking from. By default, the script will only draw the yearly high lines and a check-box can be selected to enable the low lines. The high line can, similarly, be disable should you only want the low lines. I chose this default because I noticed that more often than not, with both enabled, the screen got a little too cluttered.
Known Issues:
If you set the starting year to the current year, the labels don't show up. I spent a while trying to figure out why but I gave up after realizing that if you only have one year selected, it's less important that they be labeled and it didn't bother me after that. If it bothers you, fix it and feel free to let me know how you did it but I'm not interested in working any harder on a fix right now.
Divergence and Pivot - Detector For Any IndicatorI present to you an indicator capable of determining the divergence and convergence points for any indicator you choose. It will also determine Pivot points.
All you need to do is add the indicator to your favorites and call it. Next, you need a second indicator for which you want to find divergences or pivots. Next you need choise 'Oscillator Source' section in my indicator, after that you need to choose the name of the indicator for which you want to find divergences . - Done!
Thanks to the developers of TradingView for posting the source code of the "Divergence Indicator" indicator.
Extreme Volume Support Resistance LevelsExtreme Volume Support Resistance Levels are S/R levels(zones, basically), based on extreme volume .
Settings:
Lookback -- number of bars, which algorithm will be using;
Volume Threshold Period -- period of MA (Volume MA), which smoothers volume in order to find the extremes;
Volume Threshold Multiplier -- multiplier for Volume MA, which "lift" Volume MA and thus will provide the algorithm with more accurate extreme volume ;
Number of zones to show -- number of last S/R zones, which will be shown on the chart.
RU:
Extreme Volume Support Resistance Levels — это уровни S/R (зоны, в основном), основанные на избыточном объеме.
Параметры:
Lookback -- число баров, которое алгоритм будет использовать для расчётов;
Volume Threshold Period -- период MA (Volume MA), которая сглаживает объем для нахождения экстремумов объёма;
Volume Threshold Multiplier -- множитель для Volume MA, который "поднимает" Volume MA и тем самым обеспечивает алгоритм более точными значениями экстремального объёма;
Количество зон для отображения -- количество оставшихся зон S/R, которые отображаются на графике.
Opening Range, Initial Balance, Opening PriceThis script draws Opening Range, Initial Balance and Opening Price with options to show mid levels.
By default, lines changes color depending on whether closing price is above or below the lines. Red if price is below, green if price is above.
Colors and line styles are all configurable.
Options to change label positions.
Some definitions:
Opening Range - The opening range is high and low for a given period after the market opens. This period is generally the first 30 or 60 minutes of trading
Initial Balance - WRT to TPO profile chart, the Initial Balance is the price range resulting from the market’s trade during the first two 30 minute periods of the regular trading hours session.
Why is this useful?
The first hour of the trading day is the most active and dynamic period. The price range defined by this period of trading creates some key support / resistance levels for the rest of the day. Example below:
OHMLC Candles LevelsPlot Open / High / Middle / Low / Close Lines of current and previous candles.
The indicator is Multi-Timeframe.
Choose the line style and the type of extension.
Cosmic Markers LiteThis marker-only indicator traces highest and lowest bars using 5 different periods (the first 3 in aggregation and the rest as is) for a total of 10 support and resistance signals of varying strength. Use Cosmic Markers Lite on its own or add on top of existing chart patterns or other line indicators.
Future Pivots CPR - All Timeframes
Simple idea that allows you to display tomorrow CPR/ Standard Floor Trader Pivots based on the high, low and close of today session. Likewise, it works for higher timeframes taking into account the high, low, close of the period (e.g. weekly, monthly, year).
Just be aware that -regardless of the timeframe- if the period is still in development, the indicator will constantly/ live update the values until the period is closed!! This indicator is meant to be used when preparing for the next trading period. If you want to use it live, I'd suggest using the function of this indicator which allows to display only current/closed pivots-
Similar to other script I published, this indicator lower timeframes (Daily and Weekly) will work with lower timeframe bars, this is the Minutes and Hour bars. Conversely, higher timeframe CPR/Pivots will work better with timeframes/charts from Daily and above.
Available tick/untick functions:
- Select timeframe
- Show current CPR & Support/Resistance
- Show tomorrow CPR & Support/Resistance
- Display historical CPR (CPR only)
- Show extended support and resistance lines (S2,S3,R2,R3) for current and future pivots.
Price Divergence IndicatorThis Price Divergence Indicator indicator modifies the standard Divergence Indicator to look for price divergences between the current chart and any other selected TradingView chart.
The thesis that this indicator is built upon:
Prices on assets or indices that are normally correlated move in lock step. Where there are deviations between the confirmed highs or lows of two assets or indices it is likely that they will "catch up" in the near future.
By default it will load the price data for the SPX and look for price divergences on the current chart timeframe. Any TradingView Symbol can be selected as the 'Comparison Source' and any timeframe. Some of the options I've been trying out include:
SPX vs NDQ
XAO vs SPX
UK100 vs NDQM
MSFT vs NDQM
GOOG vs NDQM
AMZN vs MSFT
BTC vs ETH
BTC vs NDQ
BTC vs DXY
I've found looking for divergences on a longer timeframe can be useful and don't expect any meaningful results if you set it to shorter than chart timeframes.
Alerts can be created based on any of the divergences and the 'Backtest Buy Signal' can be used to send notification to a backtester (bull = 2, hidden bull = 1, neutral = 0, hidden bear = -1, bear = -2), this is plotted to display.none, so enable it in Settings - Style and disable all other plots to see it.
Divergences are measured between the CONFIRMED peaks of the two charts. The confirmation timeframe is set using 'Pivot Lookback Right'. The lower the lookback the quicker the signal and the more likely it is to not have hit an actual peak, a higher lookback will give a much more dependable signal but the move may be finished by the time the alert actually fires. The "Plot When Alerts Fire" option should give you an idea (top and bottom triangles) of what to expect, but you should watch bar replays to understand how your setting will impact when alerts are created and potential false positives.
[HM] Fibonacci Fractals Absolute Auto v20221114Basically:
F - Fibonacci levels
F - fractals: retracement of retracement
A - absolute: based on two fixed points instead user chosen Fibonacci points
A - auto: automatically draws based on volatility
Explanation:
This script will automatically trace TWO Fibonacci levels from these points:
- ALL TIME HIGH (ATH) and ALL TIME LOW ( ATL ) prices
This is our first Fibonacci FRACTAL retracement and the line caption will show ONE character:
"↥" for 0.618
"↧" for 0.382
The FRACTAL with two lines will define THREE regions.
The second Fibonacci FRACTAL retracement will show TWO characters:
the same "↥" "↧" characters with:
"a" if the price is between TOP region of previous fractal
"b" if the price is between MIDDLE region of previous fractal
"c" if the price is between BOTTOM region of previous fractal
The third Fibonacci FRACTAL will show THREE characters and so on.
Delimited by volatility (otherwise this script will go to 10th fractal maximum).
OPTIONS to give a try:
- use ALL TIME HIGH and ZERO prices (instead ATH and ATL )
- use a non-Fibonacci retracement:
---> "⅓": 1/3 and 2/3 levels instead 0.618 and 0.382 (based on chess master Hindenburg Melão article hint)
---> "fibonaccing": 0.764 and 0.236 levels (based on Brazilian trader Marco Antonio Rossi method hint)
#script under development, sugestions and questions are welcome.
Movement Polarization (MoP)This shows the negative or positive charge of price movement and volume .
The "Polarization" shows how much negativity or positivity the movement of the price and volume have.
IMPORTANT:
Use with crypto currencies only is highly recommended.
If the volume in a currency is not visible, adjust the "Factor" number higher in the "Inputs" tab.
Adjust it until there is a balance between the vertical spread of the volume and polarization.
There will be a noticeable jump in the scale of the indicator if it is set too high.
The "Factor" is scaled at a baseline for SHIB prices. Any lower price scales than SHIB's will not show the volume .
Version:
This is a forked codebase to conserve the functionality of "RSI TV". The "RSI TV" focuses only on the RSI trend, this focuses on price and volume movement.
As such, there is no need for the MA of the RSI. Also, the TV Line from the "RSI TV" is used to show polarization of movement in this context.
The Trend Veracity line from the "RSI TV" has a broad scope in verifying different, particular trends, not just the RSI trend.
The RSI, volume, and polarization are all conveniently placed within the same scale to facilitate longer-term trading with price action. See also: "RSI TV" .
How this indicator is original; what it does, and how it does it:
This indicator has an original, unique ability to give the volume a further-projecting forecast.
The MoP does this by placing the volume on a vertical scale. It then compares it to a polarization level.
This gives 3 reference points: 1) Past data of volume, 2) volume vertical thresholds, and 3) polarization levels.
The volume by itself has no reference but its own past data. This gives a short-sighted forecast.
How to use it:
Useful with a trend finding indicator and price-action trading. See notes in picture above (scroll chart left to see first note).
Extra indicator shown in chart is an adjusted "ARL Bands" .
1) A condensing of volume and polarization usually means that an uptrend will soon turn.
2) A widening of volume and polarization usually means that a downtrend will soon turn.
3) A weak uptrend is indicated when volume falls while low, positive polarization also falls.
4) A growing uptrend is indicated when volume and positive polarization grow together.
5) Overlapping volume and positive polarization usually signifies oncoming peaks.

Market Structure - By LeviathanThis indicator helps you identify market structure by plotting swing highs and lows (HH, LH, HL, LL), BOS/CHOCH and 0.5 retracement levels. Other functionalities will be added in future updates.
Indicator Settings Overview
SWING LENGTH
The number of leftbars and rightbars when searching for swing points. The lower the value, the more swing points are shown and the higher the value, the less swing points are shown. I suggest adjusting it to fit your style and when switching between different timeframes.
BOS CONFIRMATION
Choose whether a Break of Structure is determined by a candle close or a wick breaching previous swing point. Using the "Wick" confirmation option will result in more breaks of structure.
CHOCH
Turning this ON renames the first counter trend Break of Structure (BOS) to CHoCH (Change of Character) and therefore signaling a possible trend shift.
SHOW 0.5 RETRACEMENT LEVEL
This will show a level halfway between a swing low and a swing high of an expansion move, which can act as an approximate retracement point if the trend continues.
In uptrends, 0.5 level is drawn between Higher Lows (HL) and Higher Highs ( HHs ). Long entries can be placed around that level if you suspect that the uptrend will continue.
In downtrends, 0.5 level is drawn between Lower Highs (LH) and Lower Lows (LLs). Short entries can be placed around that level if you suspect that the downtrend will continue.

Margin Pressure ThresholdsIf you thought margin trading liquidation levels only mattered to those trading with leverage, think again. Margin traders wield significantly more capital than your average retail investor, and their collective behavior can move markets quite predictably. The basic premise (theory popularized by Forrest @Cryptostackers YouTube) is that margin traders will have their liquidation points protected by strong support (for longs) or resistance (for shorts). Therefore, by simply identifying strong support/resistance levels, we can predict the thresholds at which margin buying and selling pressure will subside.
This indicator is interactive, so it just takes a click. Select a strong support level to see where margin buying pressure is likely to drop off, i.e. where to expect resistance and a potential local top. Or, select a strong resistance level to see expected support and anticipate the local bottom. Even better, look at long and short levels together to identify high probability support/resistance zones where levels align.
And for margin traders, this indicator makes life easy. Just click to select the support/resistance you want protecting your liquidation level, and quickly see the amount of leverage is safe to trade with.
Divergence Finder [Multigrain]█ OVERVIEW
This indicator is a divergence finder, designed to be overlayed on top of any oscillator. By utilizing an Exponential Moving Average, rather than built-in pivot functions, this allows for insignificant pivots of the oscillator to be filtered out. Additionally, by sampling more than just the previous oscillator pivot, this allows for divergences to be found that would otherwise be overlooked through other methods.
█ CONCEPTS
Interim Price Threshold
A new metric used when determining valid divergences is the Interim Price Threshold (IPT). The IPT is the maximum percent delta the price is allowed to "poke-through" the divergent line at any given time.
Interim Oscillator Threshold
Similar to the Interim Price Threshold, the Interim Oscillator Threshold (IOT) is the maximum percent delta the oscillator is allowed to "poke-through" the divergent line at any given time.
Dynamic Midline
Commonly a static midline is utilized when determining whether a divergence may be bullish or bearish. By utilizing the built-in percentile nearest rank function, the midline is automatically and dynamically determined based on the previous 250 bars. As a result certain divergences which may otherwise be overlooked will be discovered.
█ SETTINGS
Oscillator Source: The oscillator in which you want find divergences from. Default to a MACD oscillator when unchanged.
Price Source: The price source in which you want to find divergences from.
Moving Average Length: The length of the exponential moving average used when determining the pivot points of the selected oscillator.
█ USAGES
Divergence in technical analysis can indicate a significant bullish or bearish price move. A bullish divergence occurs when an asset's price makes a new low while an indicator begins to rise. A bearish divergence occurs when the price makes a new high but the indicator under consideration makes a lower high.
Sw1tchFX - Average Daily RangeDESCRIPTION AND OVERVIEW
The Average Daily Range is a measure of volatility (typically across 5 days for the FX markets). I originally saw this being used in a trading system called ANTSSYS by Daryll Guppy and some other developers. I couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to build it from scratch.
What this does is allow you to measure volatility across various FX assets (I will apply other asset classes in the future that this is applicable to i.e. Crypto, Commodities, Blue Chip Stocks), and set realistic targets based off that volatility. Overall, this makes much more sense to me in the FX markets rather than support and resistance lines because it's based off the actual movement of the asset class. Market research shows that an asset class has a 80-85% chance to reach 75% of it's Average Daily Range (ADR).
Let's take a look at the daily ADR on the GBPNZD 15m chart. Notice how the values of the ADR act as real support and resistance based off the volatility of the asset. In this case, price did not quite reach the 75% ADR target.
Let's take a look at another example on EURNZD 15m chart. In this case, price hit the 75% target.
It's important to note that these levels do not bound the price. The probability that price exceeds it's 75% ADR is fairly low, but not impossible. Especially during important news events. Let's look at the recent USDCHF 15m chart for example.
Additionally, you can use these values to measure longer term movements (Weekly, and Monthly)
Here is a weekly view:
And a monthly view:
HOW I USE THIS
I use this in conjunction with some other indicators I've developed. Typically, I use range bars since I only care about price, not time. Additionally, averages are smoother when time is not taken into account and only price.
HOW THE CANDLE OPEN AND CLOSE IS CALCULATED
This is done based off of your own specific time zone and from the daily candle. So for me on PST, the daily candle will close at 1400. Once closed, a new ADR value is automatically calculated and added to the chart. There is an option to show past ADR values if you would like to see them or conduct additional research.
The Only EURUSD Trading Strategy You Need - KaspricciThe Only EURUSD Trading Strategy You Need
I got the idea to this strategy from a youtube video uploaded by Trade Beta. It is designed to capture the early market move of major forex pair EURUSD at beginning of New York Stock Exchange (13:30 GMT). Trade Beta tested his strategy on the 5 minute chart. I have set all parameters to same values as shown in the video.
The strategy creates two pending orders at the recent swing high and low. Once the first pending order entered, the remaining one is cancelled. Latest at the end of market session all pending orders are cancelled and all open trade are closed as well.
In rare case that price at session opening is above swing high, only a pending sell stop order is created at swing high price. And in case price is below swing low, a pending buy stop order is created.
Settings
Trading Time - default: New York Stock Exchange opening hours. Pending orders are created at the close of the first candle within the session.
Swing High Source / Bars - default: High / 5 bars. Used to find the latest swing high within a range of 5 bars left and right. Price is used for buy stop order.
Swing Low Source / Bars - default: Low / 5 bars. Used to find the latest swing low within a range of 5 bars left and right. Price is used for sell stop order.
Stop Loss Type - default: ATR. You can switch between stop loss calculation based on Average True Range value or fixed value.
ATR Length / Factor / TP Ratio - default: 14 / 2.0 / 2.0. Used to calculate the Stop Loss as ATR * Factor and Take Profit as Stop Loss * TP Ratio.
FIX Stop Loss / Take Profit - default: 10 pips / 20 pips. In case you select Stop Loss Type = FIX, these value swill be used.
This strategy is for educational purposes only! It is not meant to be a financial advice.
Heiken Ashi Swing High/LowIt uses Heiken Ashi candles to detect recent swing high and low.
It can be used as a stop-loss or support/resistance indicator.
Q-TrendQ-Trend is an multipurpose indicatorm that can be used for swing- and trend-trading equally on any timeframe (non-volatile markets are better for this thing).
Settings:
Trend period - used to calculate trend line in the special moments(will explain below);
ATR Multiplier - changes sensitivity. The higher the multiplier = the more sensitive it is.
Also option to smooth source data (helps get cleaner signals, as always).
How to use?
Signals are given on the chart. Also ou can use trend line as S/R line.
The idea behind:
Terms:
SRС = Source
TL = trend line;
MP = ATR multiplier;
ATR = ATR :)
TL = (highest of source P-bars back + lowest of source P-bars back) / 2
Epsilon = MP * ATR
I was thinking for a week about combining volatility and relation between highest and lowest price point. That why I called indicator Q-Trend = Quantitative Trend , as I was trying to think about price in a mathematical way.
Okay, time to go philosophical:
1) TL is shows good price trend, but as it is slow enough and not enough informative, we need add additional conditions to produce signals.
2) Okay, so what can we add as conditions? We need to take volatility into account, as it is crucial in the moments of market uncertainty. So let's use ATR (Average True Range) somehow. My idea is that if SRC breaks TL + ATR , then it means that there will be upmove and we update our TL . Analogically for SRC breaking TL - ATR (breaks are crosses of TL +- ATR lines) .
Conclusion:
- if SRC breaks TL + ATR , it is a BUY signal and update of trend line;
- if SRC breaks TL - ATR , it is a SELL signal and update of trend line;
I think that such indicator already exisits on TradingView, as I've already saw something similar, but long ago, so please don't report, if such thing already exists.
But if not, then I hope, that you will gain some profits with Q-Trend :)
I will continue my work on this thing, so stay tuned.
Trade with your own risks and have your profits!
Wish you all the best!
