Higher Time Frame Support/Resistance [BigBeluga]The Higher Time Frame Support/Resistance indicator is a tool designed to display pivot points derived from higher timeframes on your current chart. These pivot points are calculated based on the highs and lows of price action in different timeframes, and the indicator draws horizontal lines to represent these levels. These lines act as potential support and resistance zones, giving traders key market levels that may influence future price movement.
Each pivot line is color-coded and labeled with its price value and the timeframe it originates from. This allows traders to clearly differentiate between the significance of the levels based on their timeframe. For example, weekly pivot levels may represent stronger, more long-term support and resistance, while hourly pivots offer more immediate, short-term levels to watch.
🔵 IDEA
The Higher Time Frame Support/Resistance indicator is designed to simplify the process of tracking key support and resistance levels across multiple timeframes. Pivot points, which represent turning points in the market, are essential for identifying areas where price might reverse or break out. By displaying these levels from higher timeframes directly on the current chart, traders can quickly identify and react to critical areas in the market without needing to switch between different timeframe charts.
The indicator labels each pivot point with the specific timeframe it comes from (e.g., 4H, 1D, 1W), making it easy for traders to assess the relative strength of each level. Stronger levels from higher timeframes are likely to act as more significant barriers or support zones, while lower timeframe levels can be used for more precise entries and exits.
🔵 KEY FEATURES
Pivot Levels from Multiple Timeframes:
The indicator calculates pivot highs and lows from various higher timeframes (e.g., 4H, 1D, 1W) and plots these levels on the current chart. These pivot points are represented by horizontal lines that extend across the chart, serving as potential support and resistance zones.
Color-Coded Support and Resistance Lines:
Each pivot level is color-coded based on its timeframe, helping traders quickly differentiate between short-term and long-term support and resistance. This visual aid simplifies the analysis and allows for a clearer understanding of key market levels.
Price Labels and Timeframe Information:
In addition to the pivot lines, the indicator displays labels at each level with the corresponding price and timeframe. For example, a label may show "D Pivot High" followed by the exact price. This helps traders understand the origin and significance of each line, allowing for more informed trading decisions.
Labels up and down mark highs and lows from higher timeframes:
Pivot Shadows for Enhanced Clarity:
The indicator can also draw shadow lines that represent the pivot points but with increased transparency. These shadows allow traders to keep track of previous pivots without cluttering the chart with too many solid lines. The width and transparency of these shadows can be customized in the settings.
🔵 HOW TO USE
🔵 CUSTOMIZATION

FibExtender [tradeviZion]FibExtender : A Guide to Identifying Resistance with Fibonacci Levels
Introduction
Fibonacci levels are essential tools in technical analysis, helping traders identify potential resistance and support zones in trending markets. FibExtender is designed to make this analysis accessible to traders at all levels, especially beginners, by automating the process of plotting Fibonacci extensions. With FibExtender, you can visualize potential resistance levels quickly, empowering you to make more informed trading decisions without manually identifying every pivot point. In this article, we’ll explore how FibExtender works, guide you step-by-step in using it, and share insights for both beginner and advanced users.
What is FibExtender ?
FibExtender is an advanced tool that automates Fibonacci extension plotting based on significant pivot points in price movements. Fibonacci extensions are percentages based on prior price swings, often used to forecast potential resistance zones where price might reverse or consolidate. By automatically marking these Fibonacci levels on your chart, FibExtender saves time and reduces the complexity of technical analysis, especially for users unfamiliar with calculating and plotting these levels manually.
FibExtender not only identifies Fibonacci levels but also provides a customizable framework where you can adjust anchor points, colors, and level visibility to suit your trading strategy. This customization allows traders to tailor the indicator to fit different market conditions and personal preferences.
Key Features of FibExtender
FibExtender offers several features to make Fibonacci level analysis easier and more effective. Here are some highlights:
Automated Fibonacci Level Identification : The script automatically detects recent swing lows and pivot points to anchor Fibonacci extensions, allowing you to view potential resistance levels with minimal effort.
Customizable Fibonacci Levels : Users can adjust the specific Fibonacci levels they want to display (e.g., 0.618, 1.0, 1.618), enabling a more focused analysis based on preferred ratios. Each level can be color-coded for visual clarity.
Dual Anchor Points : FibExtender allows you to choose between anchoring levels from either the last pivot low or a recent swing low, depending on your preference. This flexibility helps in aligning Fibonacci levels with key market structures.
Transparency and Visual Hierarchy : FibExtender automatically adjusts the transparency of levels based on their "sequence age," creating a subtle visual hierarchy. Older levels appear slightly faded, helping you focus on more recent, potentially impactful levels.
Connection Lines for Context : FibExtender draws connecting lines from recent lows to pivot highs, allowing users to visualize the price movements that generated each Fibonacci extension level.
Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners
Let’s walk through how to use the FibExtender script on a TradingView chart. This guide will ensure that you’re able to set it up and interpret the key information displayed by the indicator.
Step 1: Adding FibExtender to Your Chart
Open your TradingView chart and select the asset you wish to analyze.
Search for “FibExtender ” in the Indicators section.
Click to add the indicator to your chart, and it will automatically plot Fibonacci levels based on recent pivot points.
Step 2: Customizing Fibonacci Levels
Adjust Levels : Under the "Fibonacci Settings" tab, you can enable or disable specific levels, such as 0.618, 1.0, or 1.618. You can also change the color for each level to improve visibility.
Set Anchor Points : Choose between "Last Pivot Low" and "Recent Swing Low" as your Fibonacci anchor point. If you want a broader view, choose "Recent Swing Low"; if you prefer tighter levels, "Last Pivot Low" may be more suitable.
Fib Line Length : Modify the line length for Fibonacci levels to make them more visible on your chart.
Step 3: Spotting Visual Clusters (Manual Analysis)
Identify Potential Resistance Clusters : Look for areas on your chart where multiple Fibonacci levels appear close together. For example, if you see 1.0, 1.272, and 1.618 levels clustered within a small price range, this may indicate a stronger resistance zone.
Why Clusters Matter : Visual clusters often signify areas where traders expect heightened price reaction. When levels are close, it suggests that resistance may be reinforced by multiple significant ratios, making it harder for price to break through. Use these clusters to anticipate potential pullbacks or consolidation areas.
Step 4: Observing the Price Action Around Fibonacci Levels
As price approaches these identified levels, watch for any slowing momentum or reversal patterns, such as doji candles or bearish engulfing formations, that might confirm resistance.
Adjust Strategy Based on Resistance : If price hesitates or reverses at a clustered resistance zone, it may be a signal to secure profits or tighten stops on a long position.
Advanced Insights (for Intermediate to Advanced Users)
For users interested in the technical workings of FibExtender, this section provides insights into how the indicator functions on a code level.
Pivot Point and Swing Detection
FibExtender uses a pivot-high and pivot-low detection function to identify significant price points. The upFractal and dnFractal variables detect these levels based on recent highs and lows, creating the basis for Fibonacci extension calculations. Here’s an example of the code used for this detection:
// Fractal Calculations
upFractal = ta.pivothigh(n, n)
dnFractal = ta.pivotlow(n, n)
By setting the number of periods for n, users can adjust the sensitivity of the script to recent price swings.
Fibonacci Level Calculation
The following function calculates the Fibonacci levels based on the selected pivot points and applies each level’s specific ratio (e.g., 0.618, 1.618) to project extensions above the recent price swing.
calculateFibExtensions(float startPrice, float highPrice, float retracePrice) =>
fibRange = highPrice - startPrice
var float levels = array.new_float(0)
array.clear(levels)
if array.size(fibLevels) > 0
for i = 0 to array.size(fibLevels) - 1
level = retracePrice + (fibRange * array.get(fibLevels, i))
array.push(levels, level)
levels
This function iterates over each level enabled by the user, calculating extensions by multiplying the price range by the corresponding Fibonacci ratio.
Example Use Case: Identifying Resistance in Microsoft (MSFT)
To better understand how FibExtender highlights resistance, let’s look at Microsoft’s stock chart (MSFT), as shown in the image. The chart displays several Fibonacci levels extending upward from a recent pivot low around $408.17. Here’s how you can interpret the chart:
Clustered Resistance Levels : In the chart, note the grouping of several Fibonacci levels in the range of $450–$470. These levels, particularly when tightly packed, suggest a zone where Microsoft may encounter stronger resistance, as multiple Fibonacci levels signal potential barriers.
Applying Trading Strategies : As price approaches this clustered resistance, traders can watch for weakening momentum. If price begins to stall, it may be wise to lock in profits on long positions or set tighter stop-loss orders.
Observing Momentum Reversals : Look for specific candlestick patterns as price nears these levels, such as bearish engulfing candles or doji patterns. Such patterns can confirm resistance, helping you make informed decisions on whether to exit or manage your position.
Conclusion: Harnessing Fibonacci Extensions with FibExtender
FibExtender is a powerful tool for identifying potential resistance levels without the need for manual Fibonacci calculations. It automates the detection of key swing points and projects Fibonacci extensions, offering traders a straightforward approach to spotting potential resistance zones. For beginners, FibExtender provides a user-friendly gateway to technical analysis, helping you visualize levels where price may react.
For those with a bit more experience, the indicator offers insight into pivot points and Fibonacci calculations, enabling you to fine-tune the analysis for different market conditions. By carefully observing price reactions around clustered levels, users can identify areas of stronger resistance and refine their trade management strategies accordingly.
FibExtender is not just a tool but a framework for disciplined analysis. Using Fibonacci levels for guidance can support your trading decisions, helping you recognize areas where price might struggle or reverse. Integrating FibExtender into your trading strategy can simplify the complexity of Fibonacci extensions and enhance your understanding of resistance dynamics.
Note: Always practice proper risk management and thoroughly test the indicator to ensure it aligns with your trading strategy. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

$TUBR: 7-25-99 Moving Average7, 25, and 99 Period Moving Averages
This indicator plots three moving averages: the 7-period, 25-period, and 99-period Simple Moving Averages (SMA). These moving averages are widely used to smooth out price action and help traders identify trends over different time frames. Let's break down the significance of these specific moving averages from both supply and demand perspectives and a price action perspective.
1. Supply and Demand Perspective:
- 7-period Moving Average (Short-Term) :
The 7-period moving average represents the short-term sentiment in the market. It captures the rapid fluctuations in price and is heavily influenced by recent supply and demand changes. Traders often look to the 7-period SMA for immediate price momentum, with price moving above or below this line signaling short-term strength or weakness.
- Bullish Supply/Demand : When price is above the 7-period SMA, it suggests that buyers are currently in control and demand is higher than supply. Conversely, price falling below this line indicates that supply is overpowering demand, leading to a short-term downtrend.
Is current price > average price in past 7 candles (depending on timeframe)? This will tell you how aggressive buyers are in short term.
- Key Supply/Demand Zones : The 7-period SMA often acts as dynamic support or resistance in a trending market, where traders might use it to enter or exit positions based on how price interacts with this level.
- 25-period Moving Average (Medium-Term) :
The 25-period SMA smooths out more of the noise compared to the 7-period, providing a more stable indication of intermediate trends. This moving average is often used to gauge the market's supply and demand balance over a broader timeframe than the short-term 7-period SMA.
- Supply/Demand Balance : The 25-period SMA reflects the medium-term equilibrium between supply and demand. A crossover between the price and the 25-period SMA may indicate a shift in this balance. When price sustains above the 25-period SMA, it shows that demand is strong enough to maintain an upward trend. Conversely, if the price stays below it, supply is likely exceeding demand.
Is current price > average price in past 25 candles (depending on timeframe)? This will tell you how aggressive buyers are in mid term.
- Momentum Shift : Crossovers between the 7-period and 25-period SMAs can indicate momentum shifts between short-term and medium-term demand. For example, if the 7-period crosses above the 25-period, it often signifies growing short-term demand relative to the medium-term trend, signaling potential buy opportunities. What this crossover means is that if 7MA > 25MA that means in past 7 candles average price is more than past 25 candles.
- 99-period Moving Average (Long-Term):
The 99-period SMA represents the long-term trend and reflects the market's supply and demand over an extended period. This moving average filters out short-term fluctuations and highlights the market's overall trajectory.
- Long-Term Supply/Demand Dynamics : The 99-period SMA is slower to react to changes in supply and demand, providing a more stable view of the market's overall trend. Price staying above this line shows sustained demand dominance, while price consistently staying below reflects ongoing supply pressure.
Is current price > average price in past 99 candles (depending on timeframe)? This will tell you how aggressive buyers are in long term.
- Market Trend Confirmation : When both the 7-period and 25-period SMAs are above the 99-period SMA, it signals a strong bullish trend with demand outweighing supply across all timeframes. If all three SMAs are below the 99-period SMA, it points to a bear market where supply is overpowering demand in both the short and long term.
2. Price Action Perspective :
- 7-period Moving Average (Short-Term Trends):
The 7-period moving average closely tracks price action, making it highly responsive to quick shifts in price. Traders often use it to confirm short-term reversals or continuations in price action. In an uptrend, price typically stays above the 7-period SMA, whereas in a downtrend, price stays below it.
- Short-Term Price Reversals : Crossovers between the price and the 7-period SMA often indicate short-term reversals. When price breaks above the 7-period SMA after staying below it, it suggests a potential bullish reversal. Conversely, a price breakdown below the 7-period SMA could signal a bearish reversal.
- 25-period Moving Average (Medium-Term Trends) :
The 25-period SMA helps identify the medium-term price action trend. It balances short-term volatility and longer-term stability, providing insight into the more persistent trend. Price pullbacks to the 25-period SMA during an uptrend can act as a buying opportunity for trend traders, while pullbacks during a downtrend may offer shorting opportunities.
- Pullback and Continuation: In trending markets, price often retraces to the 25-period SMA before continuing in the direction of the trend. For instance, if the price is in a bullish trend, traders may look for support at the 25-period SMA for potential continuation trades.
- 99-period Moving Average (Long-Term Trend and Market Sentiment ):
The 99-period SMA is the most critical for identifying the overall market trend. Price consistently trading above the 99-period SMA indicates long-term bullish momentum, while price staying below the 99-period SMA suggests bearish sentiment.
- Trend Confirmation : Price action above the 99-period SMA confirms long-term upward momentum, while price action below it confirms a downtrend. The space between the shorter moving averages (7 and 25) and the 99-period SMA gives a sense of the strength or weakness of the trend. Larger gaps between the 7 and 99 SMAs suggest strong bullish momentum, while close proximity indicates consolidation or potential reversals.
- Price Action in Trending Markets : Traders often use the 99-period SMA as a dynamic support/resistance level. In strong trends, price tends to stay on one side of the 99-period SMA for extended periods, with breaks above or below signaling major changes in market sentiment.
Why These Numbers Matter:
7-Period MA : The 7-period moving average is a popular choice among short-term traders who want to capture quick momentum changes. It helps visualize immediate market sentiment and is often used in conjunction with price action to time entries or exits.
- 25-Period MA: The 25-period MA is a key indicator for swing traders. It balances sensitivity and stability, providing a clearer picture of the intermediate trend. It helps traders stay in trades longer by filtering out short-term noise, while still being reactive enough to detect reversals.
- 99-Period MA : The 99-period moving average provides a broad view of the market's direction, filtering out much of the short- and medium-term noise. It is crucial for identifying long-term trends and assessing whether the market is bullish or bearish overall. It acts as a key reference point for longer-term trend followers, helping them stay with the broader market sentiment.
Conclusion:
From a supply and demand perspective, the 7, 25, and 99-period moving averages help traders visualize shifts in the balance between buyers and sellers over different time horizons. The price action interaction with these moving averages provides valuable insight into short-term momentum, intermediate trends, and long-term market sentiment. Using these three MAs together gives a more comprehensive understanding of market conditions, helping traders align their strategies with prevailing trends across various timeframes.

1. Trend Identification Rules:
Bullish Trend:
The 7-period MA is above the 25-period MA, and the 25-period MA is above the 99-period MA.
This structure shows that short, medium, and long-term trends are aligned in an upward direction, indicating strong bullish momentum.
Bearish Trend:
The 7-period MA is below the 25-period MA, and the 25-period MA is below the 99-period MA.
This suggests that the market is in a downtrend, with bearish momentum dominating across timeframes.
Neutral/Consolidation:
The 7-period MA and 25-period MA are flat or crossing frequently with the 99-period MA, and they are close to each other.
This indicates a sideways or consolidating market where there’s no strong trend direction.
2. Entry Rules:
Bullish Entry (Buy Signals):
Primary Buy Signal:
The price crosses above the 7-period MA, AND the 7-period MA is above the 25-period MA, AND the 25-period MA is above the 99-period MA.
This indicates the start of a new upward trend, with alignment across the short, medium, and long-term trends.
Pullback Buy Signal (for trend continuation):
The price pulls back to the 25-period MA, and the 7-period MA remains above the 25-period MA.
This indica
tes that the pullback is a temporary correction in an uptrend, and buyers may re-enter the market as price approaches the 25-period MA.
You can further confirm the signal by waiting for price action (e.g., bullish candlestick patterns) at the 25-period MA level.
Breakout Buy Signal:
The price crosses above the 99-period MA, and the 7-period and 25-period MAs are also both above the 99-period MA.
This confirms a strong bullish breakout after consolidation or a long-term downtrend.
Bearish Entry (Sell Signals):
Primary Sell Signal:
The price crosses below the 7-period MA, AND the 7-period MA is below the 25-period MA, AND the 25-period MA is below the 99-period MA.
This indicates the start of a new downtrend with alignment across the short, medium, and long-term trends.
Pullback Sell Signal (for trend continuation):
The price pulls back to the 25-period MA, and the 7-period MA remains below the 25-period MA.
This indicates that the pullback is a temporary retracement in a downtrend, providing an opportunity to sell as price meets resistance at the 25-period MA.
Breakdown Sell Signal:
The price breaks below the 99-period MA, and the 7-period and 25-period MAs are also below the 99-period MA.
This confirms a strong bearish breakdown after consolidation or a long-term uptrend reversal.
3. Exit Rules:
Bullish Exit (for long positions):
Short-Term Exit:
The price closes below the 7-period MA, and the 7-period MA starts crossing below the 25-period MA.
This indicates weakening momentum in the uptrend, suggesting an exit from the long position.
Stop-Loss Trigger:
The price falls below the 99-period MA, signaling the breakdown of the long-term trend.
This can act as a final exit signal to minimize losses if the long-term uptrend is invalidated.
Bearish Exit (for short positions):
Short-Term Exit:
The price closes above the 7-period MA, and the 7-period MA starts crossing above the 25-period MA.
This indicates a potential weakening of the downtrend and signals an exit from the short position.
Stop-Loss Trigger:
The price breaks above the 99-period MA, invalidating the bearish trend.
This signals that the market may be reversing to the upside, and exiting short positions would be prudent.
Fractal Levels [BigBeluga]The Fractal Levels - BigBeluga indicator is a specialized tool that detects significant market highs and lows, ranking them by their normalized volume. This indicator is designed to help traders identify crucial price levels that are likely to influence market behavior, enabling better decision-making in trading. By gathering normalized volume around each fractal point, it creates a comprehensive view of the strength and relevance of price reversal points, which can be visualized as numbers or zones on the chart.
🔵KEY FEATURES & USAGE
● High and Low Detection with Volume Ranking:
The indicator detects market highs and lows using a user-defined length setting. For each detected fractal point (high or low), it collects normalized volume from a set number of bars before and after the fractal point (the number is based on the length input). This collection allows the indicator to produce an average of the normalized volume, which is then displayed as a number above or below the corresponding fractal arrows, visually indicating the importance of the high or low.
● Plotting Levels from Fractals:
From these high and low points, the indicator plots key levels. In settings, traders can choose between a wide or tight zone type.
If a price level coincides with multiple pivot points, the indicator highlights this as a significant zone. These zones represent areas where price tends to react, making them critical for identifying potential support and resistance levels.
● Fractal Boxes with Delta Volume Data:
Fractal boxes are shown as gray boxes, representing areas where price pivots occurred, and they also contain delta volume information. Delta volume is calculated by summing the positive and negative volumes within the length range, producing the total delta inside each fractal box. This is particularly useful for analyzing volume shifts around key levels.
● Broken Levels Highlighting:
When a plotted level is broken (price closes above or below it), the level can be removed from the chart automatically. However, in the settings, you can enable a feature to highlight broken levels as gray areas, providing insight into past price behavior. This is helpful for tracking historical support and resistance zones.
> Important note: If no volume data provided indicator wont work
🔵 CUSTOMIZATION
Fractal Length and Filter Settings:
Adjust the Length parameter to control the number of bars used to detect pivot highs and lows. A longer length will result in fewer fractals being identified, focusing on more significant price moves. The Filter option allows you to set a volume threshold, filtering out minor fractals that do not meet the minimum volume requirements.
Levels Detection (Wide or Tight):
Choose between Wide and Tight zones for fractal levels detection. A tight zone focuses on smaller price areas around pivot points, while a wide zone expands the detection range, highlighting larger zones of influence around fractals.
Delta Volume Display for Fractals:
Toggle Delta Volume Fractals to show or hide the delta volume information inside fractal boxes. When enabled, the indicator calculates and displays the total delta volume within the range of bars surrounding each fractal point.
Broken Levels Visibility:
Enable Broken Levels to highlight levels that have been crossed by price. When disabled, broken fractal levels will be removed from the chart after price crosses them.
🔵CONCLUSION
The Fractal Levels indicator provides traders with an advanced way to analyze price highs and lows by combining fractal detection with volume dynamics. By identifying key market levels through normalized volume ranking, delta volume analysis, and level plotting, this tool is invaluable for spotting potential support and resistance zones. Whether you're focusing on short-term trading or longer-term price movements, Fractal Levels offers the precision and flexibility needed to optimize your strategy.
FVG Price & Volume Graph [LuxAlgo]The FVG Price & Volume Graph tool plot recently detected fair value gaps relative to the volume traded within their area during their formation. This allows us to effectively visualize significant fair value gaps caused by high liquidity.
The indicator also returns levels from the fair value gaps areas average with the highest associated volume.
Do note that the indicator can consider the chart's visible range when being computed, which will recalculate the indicator when the chart's visible range changes.
🔶 USAGE
Fair Value Gaps (FVG) are core price action concepts occurring when the disparity between supply and demand is significant. Price has a tendency to come back to those areas and mitigating them, that is filling them.
The provided tools allow for effective visualization of both FVG's area's height as well as the volume originating from their creation, which is defined by the total traded volume located within the FVG during its creation. FVG's with more associated volume are displayed to the rightmost of the chart.
Users can determine the amount of most recent FVG's to display from the "Display Amount" setting. Disabling the "Consider Mitigation" setting will return mitigated FVGs in the plot, which can be useful to know where most FVGs were located.
We can use the area average of the FVGs with the most associated volume as potential support/resistance levels. Users can extend more FVG's averages by increasing the "Highest Volume Averages" setting.
🔹 Visualizing Volume/Price Relationships of FVG's
A linear regression is fit between FVG's areas average and their associated volume, with this linear regression helping us see where FVG's with specific volume might be located in the future based on existing FVG's.
Note that FVG's do not tend to exhibit linear relationships with their associated volume, the provided linear regression can give a general sense of tendency, but nothing necessarily accurate.

Given a formation of three candles causing an FVG, the volume traded within that FVG area is obtained by looking at the lower timeframe intrabar candles located within the intermediary candle of the formation. The volume of the intrabar candles located within the FVG areas is added up to obtain the associated volume of the FVG.
Using a lower "Intrabar Data TF" allows obtaining more precise volume results, at the cost of computation time and data availability (if there is a high difference between the "Intrabar Data TF" and the chart TF then less FVG can have their associated volume calculated due to Tradingview limitations).
🔹 Display
Users have access to multiple graphical settings affecting how the indicator is displayed.
The "Graph Resolution" setting determines the length of the X axis, with higher values returning more precise results on the location of FVGs over the X axis. Users can also control the number of labels displayed on the X-axis using the numerical input to the right of "Show X-Axis Labels".
Additionally, users can color FVG areas using a gradient relative to the size of the area, or the volume associated with the FVG.
🔶 SETTINGS
Display Amount: Amount of most recent FVGs to display.
Highest Volume Averages: Amount of FVG averages levels with the highest volume to display and extend.
Consider Mitigation: Only display unmitigated FVGs.
Filter FVGs Outside Visible Range: Only display FVGs areas that are located within the user chart visible range.
Intrabar Data TF: Timeframe used to obtain intrabar data. Should be lower than the user chart timeframe.
MACD Trail | Flux Charts💎 GENERAL OVERVIEW
Introducing our new MACD Trail indicator! Moving average convergence/divergence (MACD) is a well-known indicator among traders. It's a trend-following indicator that uses the relationship between two exponential moving averages (EMAs). This indicator aims to use MACD to generate a trail that follows the current price of the ticker, which can act as a support / resistance zone. More info about the process in the "How Does It Work" section.
Features of the new MACD Trail Indicator :
A Trail Generated Using MACD Calculation
Customizable Algorithm
Customizable Styling
📌 HOW DOES IT WORK ?
First of all, this indicator calculates the current MACD of the ticker using the user's input as settings. Let X = MACD Length setting ;
MACD ~= X Period EMA - (X * 2) Period EMA
Then, two MACD Trails are generated, one being bullish and other being bearish. Let ATR = 30 period ATR (Average True Range)
Bullish MACD Trail = Current Price + MACD - (ATR * 1.75)
Bearish MACD Trail = Current Price + MACD + (ATR * 1.75)
The indicator starts by rendering only the Bullish MACD Trail. Then if it's invalidated (candlestick closes below the trail) it switches to Bearish MACD Trail. The MACD trail switches between bullish & bearish as they get invalidated.
The trail type may give a hint about the current trend of the price action. The trail itself also can act as a support / resistance zone, here is an example :
🚩 UNIQUENESS
While MACD is one of the most used indicators among traders, this indicator aims to add another functionality to it by rendering a trail based on it. This trail may act as a support / resistance zone as described above, and gives a glimpse about the current trend. The indicator also has custom MACD Length and smoothing options, as well as various style options.
⚙️ SETTINGS
1. General Configuration
MACD Length -> This setting adjusts the EMA periods used in MACD calculation. Increasing this setting will make MACD more responseive to longer trends, while decreasing it may help with detection of shorter trends.
Smoothing -> The smoothing of the MACD Trail. Increasing this setting will help smoothen out the MACD Trail line, but it can also make it less responsive to the latest changes.
Butterfly Harmonic Pattern [TradingFinder] Harmonic Detector🔵 Introduction
The Butterfly Harmonic Pattern is a sophisticated and highly regarded tool in technical analysis, utilized by traders to identify potential reversal points in the financial markets. This pattern is distinguished by its reliance on Fibonacci ratios and geometric configurations, which aid in predicting price movements with remarkable precision.
The origin of the Butterfly Harmonic Pattern can be traced back to the pioneering work of Bryce Gilmore, who is credited with discovering this pattern. Gilmore's extensive research and expertise in Fibonacci ratios laid the groundwork for the identification and application of this pattern in technical analysis.
The Butterfly pattern, like other harmonic patterns, is based on the principle that market movements are not random but follow specific structures and ratios.
The pattern is characterized by a distinct "M" shape in bullish scenarios and a "W" shape in bearish scenarios, each indicating a potential reversal point. These formations are identified by specific Fibonacci retracement and extension levels, making the Butterfly pattern a powerful tool for traders seeking to capitalize on market turning points.
The precise nature of the Butterfly pattern allows for the accurate prediction of target prices and the establishment of strategic entry and exit points, making it an indispensable component of a trader's analytical arsenal.
Bullish :
Bearish :
🔵 How to Use
Like other harmonic patterns, the Butterfly pattern is categorized based on how it forms at the end of an uptrend or downtrend. Unlike the Gartley and Bat patterns, the Butterfly pattern, similar to the Crab pattern, forms outside the wave 3 range at the end of a rally.
🟣 Types of Butterfly Harmonic Patterns
🟣 Bullish Butterfly Pattern
This pattern forms at the end of a downtrend and leads to a trend reversal from a downtrend to an uptrend.
🟣 Bearish Butterfly Pattern
In contrast to the Bullish Butterfly pattern, this pattern forms at the end of an uptrend and warns analysts of a trend reversal to a downtrend. In this case, traders are encouraged to shift their trading stance from buy trades to sell trades.
Advantages and Limitations of the Butterfly Pattern in Technical Analysis :
The Butterfly pattern is considered one of the precise and stable tools in financial market analysis. However, it is always important to pay special attention to the advantages and limitations of each pattern.
Here, we review the advantages and disadvantages of using the Butterfly harmonic pattern :
The main advantage of the Butterfly pattern is providing very accurate signals.
Using Fibonacci golden ratios and geometric rules, the Butterfly pattern identifies patterns accurately and systematically. (This high accuracy significantly helps investors in making trading decisions.)
Identifying this pattern requires expertise and experience in technical analysis.
Recognizing the Butterfly pattern might be complex for beginner traders. (Correct identification of the pattern necessitates mastery over geometric principles and Fibonacci ratios.)
The Butterfly harmonic pattern might issue false trading signals. (Traders usually combine the Butterfly pattern with other technical tools to confirm buy and sell signals.)
🔵 Setting
🟣 Logical Setting
ZigZag Pivot Period : You can adjust the period so that the harmonic patterns are adjusted according to the pivot period you want. This factor is the most important parameter in pattern recognition.
Show Valid Forma t: If this parameter is on "On" mode, only patterns will be displayed that they have exact format and no noise can be seen in them. If "Off" is, the patterns displayed that maybe are noisy and do not exactly correspond to the original pattern.
Show Formation Last Pivot Confirm : if Turned on, you can see this ability of patterns when their last pivot is formed. If this feature is off, it will see the patterns as soon as they are formed. The advantage of this option being clear is less formation of fielded patterns, and it is accompanied by the latest pattern seeing and a sharp reduction in reward to risk.
Period of Formation Last Pivot : Using this parameter you can determine that the last pivot is based on Pivot period.
🟣 Genaral Setting
Show : Enter "On" to display the template and "Off" to not display the template.
Color : Enter the desired color to draw the pattern in this parameter.
LineWidth : You can enter the number 1 or numbers higher than one to adjust the thickness of the drawing lines. This number must be an integer and increases with increasing thickness.
LabelSize : You can adjust the size of the labels by using the "size.auto", "size.tiny", "size.smal", "size.normal", "size.large" or "size.huge" entries.
🟣 Alert Setting
Alert : On / Off
Message Frequency : This string parameter defines the announcement frequency. Choices include: "All" (activates the alert every time the function is called), "Once Per Bar" (activates the alert only on the first call within the bar), and "Once Per Bar Close" (the alert is activated only by a call at the last script execution of the real-time bar upon closing). The default setting is "Once per Bar".
Show Alert Time by Time Zone : The date, hour, and minute you receive in alert messages can be based on any time zone you choose. For example, if you want New York time, you should enter "UTC-4". This input is set to the time zone "UTC" by default.
Market Structure Oscillator [LuxAlgo]The Market Structure Oscillator indicator analyzes and synthesizes short-term, intermediate-term, and long-term market structure shifts and breaks, visualizing the output as oscillators and graphical representations of real-time market structures on the main price chart.
The oscillator presentation of the detected market structures helps traders visualize trend momentum and strength, identifying potential trend reversals, and providing different perspectives to enhance the analysis of classic market structures.
🔶 USAGE
A market structure shift signals a potential change in market sentiment or direction, while a break of structure indicates a continuation of the current trend. Detecting these events in real-time helps traders recognize both trend changes and continuations. The market structure oscillator translates these concepts visually, offering deeper insights into market momentum and strength. It aids traders in identifying overbought or oversold conditions, potential trend reversals, and confirming trend direction.
Oscillators often generate signals based on crossing certain thresholds or diverging from price movements, providing cues for traders to enter or exit positions.
The weights determine the influence of each period (short-term, intermediate-term, long-term) on the final oscillator value. By changing the weights, traders can emphasize or de-emphasize the importance of each period. Higher weights increase their respective market structure's influence on the oscillator value. For example, if the weight for the short-term period is set to 0, the final value of the oscillator will be calculated using only the intermediate-term and long-term market structures.
The indicator features a Cycle Oscillator component, which uses the market structure oscillator values to generate a histogram and provide further insights into market cycles and potential signals. The Cycle Oscillator aids in timing by allowing traders to more easily see the median length of an oscillation around the average point, helping them identify both favorable prices and favorable moments for trading.
Users can also display detected market structures on the price chart by enabling the corresponding market structure toggle from the "Market Structures on Chart" settings group.
🔶 DETAILS
The script initiates its analysis by detecting swing levels, which form the fundamental basis for its operations. It begins by identifying short-term swing points, automatically detected solely based on market movements without any reliance on user-defined input. Short-Term Swing Highs (STH) are peaks in price surrounded by lower highs on both sides, while Short-Term Swing Lows (STL) are troughs surrounded by higher lows.
To identify intermediate-term and long-term swing points, the script uses previously detected short-term swing points as reference points. It examines these points to determine intermediate-term swings and further analyzes intermediate-term swings to identify long-term swing points. This method ensures a thorough and unbiased evaluation of market dynamics, providing traders with reliable insights into market structures.
Once swing levels are detected, the process continues with the analysis of Market Structure Shifts (MSS) and Breaks of Structure (BoS). A Market Structure Shift, also known as a Change of Character (CHoCH), is a critical event in price action analysis that suggests a potential shift in market sentiment or direction. It occurs when the price reverses from an established trend, indicating that the current trend may be losing momentum and a reversal could be imminent.
On the other hand, a Break of Structure signifies the continuation of the existing market trend. This event occurs when the price decisively moves beyond a previous swing high or low, confirming the strength and persistence of the prevailing trend.
The indicator analyzes price patterns using a pure price action approach and identifies market structures for short-term, intermediate-term, and long-term periods. The collected data is then normalized and combined using specified weights to calculate the final Market Structure Oscillator value.
🔶 SETTINGS
The indicator incorporates user-defined settings, allowing users to tailor it according to their preferences and trading strategies.

Candle Body Support/Resistance [LuxAlgo]The Candle Body Support/Resistance indicator is a tool that provides Support/Resistance levels from high-volatility candles, a concept originally described by Steve Nison in "Beyond Candlesticks".
Users can define the candle body percentage used to set the detected support/resistance levels. Occurrences of price testing the returned levels are highlighted using user-customizable dots.
🔶 USAGE
Support/Resistance levels are drawn from volatile candles, that is candles having a body (range between opening and closing price) whose magnitude is larger than the Volatility Threshold , which is determined by the multiplicative factor of an ATR (Average True Range) using a user set length.
The level starts from the opening price +/- a percentage of the open-close range. Users can adjust the percentage of the candle body used as support/resistance levels respectively, with higher percentage values returning levels prone to get reached sooner by the price.
A test is considered valid when a wick passes through the Support/Resistance level while the closing price is not breaking it.
Two modes are included, Trailing and Historical , both affecting the displayed elements of the indicator, these are described in the sub-section below.
🔹 Historical
The Historical Mode will draw a separate line from every Volatile Candle . When this line is tested, a dot will be drawn.
In the above example, the red resistance line was tested once until a bullish volatile candle formed, which closed just below the resistance level. The resistance level was tested again, after which the newly created support level was broken quickly, and the price decreased. These levels proved helpful later, acting as resistance/support levels (illustrated by the extra manually drawn dashed white lines).
To prevent cluttering Support/Resistance , lines will be deleted when the line is mitigated and hasn't been tested.
When a Support/Resistance line reaches its Maximum Line Length , it will also be deleted when it has not been tested.
🔹 Trailing
When a new volatile candle of the same type (bullish/bearish) appears while the Support/Resistance isn't broken, this line will be updated with the values of the new volatile candle. This creates a trailing line and a less cluttered chart.
Unlike the Historical mode , a line will not be deleted after a while or when it is mitigated. Instead, the line won't be updated anymore. A new line will start from the next found volatile candle.
Using the same situation as the Historical Mode example, we can note the future significance of old support/resistance levels (illustrated by the extra manually drawn dashed white lines).
The user can switch between these 2 modes, each offering a unique perspective on the market. This provides a more in-depth examination of the market, enhancing the user's trading analysis.
Using a copy of our indicator while using both modes can also be helpful.
🔶 DETAILS
The Support level is the opening price of a bullish volatile candle plus a user-set percentage of the candle's body, while the Resistance level is the opening price of a bearish volatile candle minus a percentage of the candle's body.
The following example illustrates the ATR with the multiplicative factor (Volatility Threshold) where the body of Volatile candles exceeds the ATR limits. Changing the Volatility Threshold and ATR length gives users extra flexibility to adjust to their needs.
🔹 Max Line Length
When using the Historical Mode and the duration of a displayed level reaches the user-set Max Line Length value, the level will return to the last test or be deleted when it has not been tested.
🔶 SETTINGS
Display Mode: Display mode of the indicator.
Support %: Sets the distance of the Support Line from the opening price relative to the candle body.
Resistance %: Sets the distance of the Resistance Line from the opening price relative to the candle body.
🔹 Filter
Length ATR: Amount of bars for the calculation of the Average True Range.
Volatility Threshold: multiplicative factor of ATR.
Max Line Length: Maximum allowed duration/length (in bars) of a Support/Resistance level.

Pivot Point Profile [LuxAlgo]The Pivot Point Profile indicator groups and displays data accumulated from previous pivot points, providing a comprehensive method for prioritizing and displaying areas of interest directly given by swing highs and lows.
Users have access to common settings present in other profile-type indicators.
🔶 USAGE
The Pivot Point Profile is particularly helpful in identifying highly active reversal zones that have been visited multiple times by price. Because of this, we could generally expect these areas to serve as future points of interest, often acting as support or resistance when re-visited.
The profile displays data associated with both Pivot Highs and Pivot Lows. Each row consists of pivot high and pivot low counts side-by-side, forming the total width of the row.
By analyzing the row as a whole, we can gain a better understanding of WHERE to look for interactions.
By analyzing the pivot counts independently, we can gain a better understanding of WHAT to expect when returning to these areas.
For example:
If a row in the profile contains entirely Pivot Lows, this could be seen as an indication to look for buyers to hold that level for a continuation upwards. A break of this level could be interpreted as a lack of interest from previous buyers at this level, indicating a further move down.
🔹 Concentrated Areas
Each row in the profile displays the current count of high pivots and low pivots within the selected lookback. The largest count for each pivot direction is identified as a "Concentrated Area (CA)", these CAs are highlighted over the chart with a line displaying the average of all pivots within that CA. The CA Average is the average of all pivot points (in the majority direction) within the given row.
These can hold more importance as potential support/resistance areas.
Note: The CA Threshold can be manually adjusted to highlight all rows based on a user-selected value.
🔶 DETAILS
🔹 Calculation
The idea behind the Pivot Point Profile is a new analysis method for pivot points, taking the idea of a volume profile and adapting it to display pivot points instead of volume. By using this data, in theory, we should be able to better prioritize zones to anticipate reversals, as well as identify key levels to watch for buyer & seller interactions to use as confirmations in direction.
The (vertical) width of each row is the product of the script's "Row Size", this is the number of rows that the profile will consist of. With a max of 250, the profile can be decently granular. That being said, A more granular profile will have fewer overlapping pivot points. By decreasing the row size (Using fewer rows in the profile) you will increase the tolerance for grouping pivot points. Potentially leading to a more comprehensive Profile. Inversely, By reducing the tolerance for grouping, you will better visualize only similar highs and lows but may have noisier data to sift through.
The Profile is calculated based on a "Lookback" parameter, using only the lookback amount of previous high and low pivots to calculate the profile. Configuring this parameter alongside "Pivot Length", will allow for great control over the frame of reference of the profile.
Note: This indicator is capable of utilizing the full chart history of pivot points, this can be done by enabling the "Use Full Chart History" setting, this will cause the script will calculate from everything it has access to on your current chart.
🔹 Display
The Pivot Point Profile display can be customized to fit a various range of chart styles and visual needs. The specific settings to adjust these can be located in the "Profile Display" Section of the User Inputs.
Profile Width: Sets the Left to Right Width of the Profile. This is the maximum width that the profile will occupy and will scale to fit within this width.
Profile Offset: Sets the distance of the Profile's Axis from the current chart candle. This moves the entire profile left and right to enable to user to set the distance between the profile and the current candle.
Direction: Changes the display direction of the profile, allowing for "Left", "Right", or "Center" display styles.
🔶 SETTINGS
🔹 Pivot Point Parameters
Pivot Type: Choose between "Fractal Pivots" or "SMC Structure" to use as the basis for pivots.
Length: Sets the length for the pivot calculations.
🔹 Profile Calculations Parameters
Lookback: Sets the number of pivots to calculate within, in increments of high and low pairs. (Setting this to 1 = 1 Pivot High & 1 Pivot Low)
Use Full Chart History: Disregards the set lookback and instead uses all available chart data to calculate from.
Row Size: Sets the total number of rows to calculate the profile with.
🔹 Profile Display
Profile Width: Sets the max left & right width (in bars) that the profile will occupy.
Profile Offset: Sets the distance of the profile axis from the last chart bar.

🔹 Concentrated Areas
Highlight CAs: Extends the rows left from concentrated areas.
CA Threshold: Manually set the threshold for determining concentrated areas, when disabled, only the largest rows will be displayed.
CA Averages: Toggles the concentrated area averages for each pivot direction.
Note: CA Averages can be displayed independently without CA Highlights being displayed, and vice versa.
Market Structures + ZigZag [TradingFinder] CHoCH/BOS - MSS/MSB🟣 Introduction
🔵 Market Structure
Grasping market structure entails examining market behavior. Essentially, market structure refers to the formation and progression of the market within its trends.
Market structures are generally fractal and nested, leading us to classify them into internal (minor) and external (major) structures. There are several definitions of market structure, with differing perspectives such as Smart Money and ICT offering their own interpretations.
🔵 Zig Zag
The Zigzag indicator is a lagging tool that identifies points on a price chart where significant changes occur compared to the previous wave. By connecting these points, it helps traders detect trends.
This indicator minimizes random price fluctuations, aiming to clarify the primary price trend.
Pivots are points on a price chart where the direction changes. Also known as reversal points, pivots form when supply and demand forces overpower one another.
There are various types of technical analysis pivots, which can be divided into two categories: minor pivots and major pivots, each with distinct significance in analysis.
Major Pivot : These pivots signify substantial changes in the chart's direction and occur at the end of trends. Analysts focusing on primary analysis prioritize major pivot points. In fact, most technical analysis tools are evaluated and based on major pivots.
Minor Pivot : These pivots highlight smaller, subsidiary points and directions, appearing at the end of corrections. Analysts who focus on minor pivots represent small trends. It's important to note that minor pivots are not suitable for use in primary technical tools.
Identifying Minor and Major Pivots :
Minor pivots are formed between two major pivots and do not break the opposing major pivot. (Internal Pivot)
Major pivots are those that either successfully break the opposing pivot or move beyond the previous pivot of the same type. (External Pivot)
🟣 How to Use
🔵 Identifying Break of Structure (BOS)
In a given trend, such as a downtrend, a Break of Structure occurs when the price drops below the previous low and forms a new low (LL). In an uptrend, a BOS (MSB) happens when the price rises and exceeds the last high.
To confirm a trend, at least one BOS is required. The break above or below the previous high or low must be validated by the closing of at least one candle beyond that level.
🔵 Identifying Change of Character (CHOCH)
Change of Character (CHOCH) is an essential concept in market structure analysis, indicating a trend change. In other words, a trend concludes with a CHOCH (MSS). For example, in a downtrend, the price declines with BOS.
While BOS highlights the trend's strength, a CHOCH occurs when the price rises and surpasses the last high, signaling a transition from a downtrend to an uptrend.
This does not imply immediately entering a buy trade; instead, it is prudent to wait for a BOS in the upward direction to confirm the uptrend.
Unlike BOS, confirming a CHOCH does not require a candle to close; simply breaking above or below the previous high or low with the candle's wick is sufficient. The following examples illustrate bearish and bullish CHOCH.
Terms :
Market Structure Shift = MSS
Market Structure Break = MSB
🔵 Zig Zag
Based on identifying pivots and drawing zigzag lines, you can have different uses of this indicator.
Including :
Identifying pivot types along with major and minor recognition.

Inside Bar Setup [as]Inside Bar Setup Indicator Description
The **Inside Bar Setup ** indicator is a powerful tool for traders to identify and visualize inside bar patterns on their charts. An inside bar pattern occurs when the current candle's high is lower than the previous candle's high, and the current candle's low is higher than the previous candle's low. This pattern can indicate a potential breakout or a continuation of the existing trend.
Key Features:
1. **Highlight Inside Bar Patterns:**
- The indicator highlights inside bar patterns with distinct colors for bullish and bearish bars. Bullish inside bars are colored with the user-defined bull bar color (default lime), and bearish inside bars are colored with the user-defined bear bar color (default maroon).
2. **Marking Mother Candle High and Low:**
- The high and low of the mother candle (the candle preceding the inside bar) are marked with horizontal lines. The high is marked with a green line, and the low is marked with a red line.
- These levels are labeled as "Range High" and "Range Low" respectively, with the labels displayed a few bars to the right for clarity. The labels have a semi-transparent background for better visibility.
3. **Target Levels:**
- The indicator calculates and plots potential target levels (T1 and T2) for both long and short positions based on user-defined multipliers of the mother candle's range.
- For long positions, T1 and T2 are plotted above the mother candle's high.
- For short positions, T1 and T2 are plotted below the mother candle's low.
- These target levels are optional and can be toggled on or off via the input settings.
4. **Customizable Inputs:**

Wave Consolidation [LuxAlgo]The Wave Consolidation indicator uses market profiles to highlight consolidation zones based on upward and downward moves determined when a Higher-High or Lower-Low is created.
Users can control the amount of consolidation zones to display and the sensitivity of the swing point detection used to return those zones.
🔶 USAGE
These zones are intended as areas of interest to traders where price has seen historical interactions, which can be interpreted as support and resistance. By identifying these areas of interest before the price returns to them, traders are able to anticipate and prepare for various scenarios and respond dynamically to the behavior of the market, as seen below.
Rejection: A quick move away from the zone may indicate that the area is either overvalued or undervalued, leading to a fast movement in the opposite direction.
Breakthrough: Moving beyond a zone could indicate acceptance at that specific price, potentially signaling a shift in momentum or the start of a new trend. In a strong major trend, zones created from smaller trends could be used as price targets for taking profit and managing risk.
Consolidation: Holding these zones might suggest a market in balance at these levels, this could lead to opportunities for range-bound trading.
Below is an example of the Rejection and Consolidation scenarios described above.
Note: By analyzing the tests and retests of these zones, traders can also gain further insight into where participants are interacting in the market.
🔶 DETAILS
The full process for acquiring and managing these zones is described in the sub-sections below.
🔹 Creation
By only considering market movements creating a higher-high or lower-low, we can identify meaningful, directional, moves which can then be used to calculate zones.
Once a move is identified, the script calculates a volume profile spanning the length of the given move.
The width of the zones is determined starting from the POC of the profile and expanding outwards until the value of the profile's row falls below the profile's average.
Note: By increasing the "Multiplier" Input, Users can increase the threshold the script uses to determine zone width in multiples of Standard Deviations above the Average.
While this area is similar to a VP Value Area, it is not intended to replicate a value zone. The calculation is not concerned with capturing any % of the total profile's volume within the zone and only analyzes based on a fixed inclusion threshold.
🔹 Management
To keep clutter to a minimum, If a new zone overlaps a recently created zone, the zones are grouped as one. This is especially helpful in areas where prices are ranging, creating multiple zones in a very similar area.
Zones before management:
Zones after management:
🔹 Deletion
Just because a zone is crossed, does not make it immediately unimportant!
Once a Zone is mitigated (crossed in the opposite direction of its bias) it is reduced to a single dotted line representing the outer threshold for the zone. These lines are important to watch, as the price will often retest a break. For this reason, they will stay on the chart until the next swing point is detected when they will finally be deleted for good.
Below is an example of activity around a broken zone before it is deleted.
Below is the same example 2bBars later , once the new swing is confirmed, the dotted lines are deleted and new zones are created.
Notice how the newly formed resistance zone is in the same area where we noticed sellers previously.
🔶 SETTINGS
🔹 Structure
Display Structure: Determines if swing structures are displayed.
Structure Length: Sets Length for structure identification.
🔹 Zones
Volume-Based Calculations: Opt to use a "Volume" based Profile Calculation instead of the default "Price Action" based Calculation.
Display Count: Sets the specific number of bullish and bearish zones to display on the chart.
Multiplier: Sets the multiplier to use for the value cut-off for determining zone boundaries.
🔹 Style
Display Average Lines: Toggles on/off the average (mid) lines for the zones.
KillZones Hunt + Sessions [TradingFinder] Alert & Volume Ranges🟣 Introduction
🔵 Session
Financial markets are divided into various time segments, each with its own characteristics and activity levels. These segments are called sessions, and they are active at different times of the day.
The most important active sessions in financial markets are :
1. Asian Session
2. European Session
3. New York Session
The timing of these major sessions based on the UTC time zone is as follows :
1. Asian Session: 23:00 to 06:00
2. European Session: 07:00 to 16:30
3. New York Session: 13:00 to 22:00
Note
To avoid overlap between sessions and interference in kill zones, we have adjusted the session timings as follows :
• Asian Session: 23:00 to 06:00
• European Session: 07:00 to 14:25
• New York Session: 14:30 to 22:55
🔵 Kill Zones
Kill zones are parts of a session where trader activity is higher than usual. During these periods, trading volume increases and price fluctuations are more intense.
The timing of the major kill zones based on the UTC time zone is as follows :
• Asian Kill Zone: 23:00 to 03:55
• European Kill Zone: 07:00 to 09:55
• New York Morning Kill Zone: 14:30 to 16:55
• New York Evening Kill Zone: 19:30 to 20:55
This indicator focuses on tracking the kill zone and its range. For example, once a kill zone ends, the high and low formed during it remain unchanged.
If the price reaches the high or low of the kill zone while the session is still active, the corresponding line is not drawn any further. Based on this information, various strategies can be developed, and the most important ones are discussed below.
🟣 How to Use
There are three main ways to trade based on the kill zone :
• Kill Zone Hunt
• Breakout and Pullback to Kill Zone
• Trading in the Trend of the Kill Zone
🔵 Kill Zone Hunt
According to this strategy, once the kill zone ends and its high and low lines no longer change, if the price reaches one of these lines within the same session and is strongly rejected, a trade can be entered.
🔵 Breakout and Pullback to Kill Zone
According to this strategy, once the kill zone ends and its high and low lines no longer change, if the price breaks one of these lines strongly within the same session, a trade can be entered on the pullback to that level.
Trading in the Trend of the Kill Zone
We know that kill zones are areas where high-volume trading occurs and powerful trends form. Therefore, trades can be made in the direction of the trend. For example, when an upward trend dominates this area, you can enter a buy trade when the price reaches a demand order block.

🧠 How It Works:
The core mechanism of the indicator is based on detecting changes in candlestick size and direction to identify bullish and bearish liquidity levels from the peak & valley indicator's logic. By comparing the length of a current candle to the previous one and checking the change in direction, it pinpoints moments where market sentiment could be shifting, indicating if the liquidity at that point is bullish or bearish. The script then looks at what percentage of the past few unmitigated levels are bullish or bearish based on a customizable lookback and determines the liquidity imbalance which can then be interpreted as trend.
Empower your trading with the Unmitigated Liquidity Imbalance indicator and navigate the markets with confidence and precision. 🌟💹
Happy trading, and may your charts be ever in your favour! 🥳✨

Basic Logic Behind the Indicator:
The Smart Money Liquidity Heatmap utilizes the Smart Money Interest Index Indicator and operates by differentiating between the trading behaviors of informed (smart money) and less-informed (retail) traders. It calculates the differences between specific volume indices—Positive Volume Index (PVI) for retail investors and Negative Volume Index (NVI) for institutional players—and their respective moving averages, highlighting these differences using the Relative Strength Index (RSI) over user-specified periods. This calculation generates a ratio that is then normalized and compared against a threshold to identify areas of high institutional trading interest, visually representing these zones on your chart as vibrant heatmaps. This enables traders to visually identify where significant trading activities among smart money are occurring, potentially signalling important buying or selling opportunities.

🛠️ How It Works:
The Rolling POC indicator dynamically calculates the Point of Control either based on volume or price within a user-defined lookback period. It plots a histogram (profile) that highlights the level at which the most trading activity has occurred, helping to identify key support and resistance levels.
Basic Logic Overview:
- Data Compilation: Gathers high, low, and volume (if volume profile selected) data within the lookback period.
- Histogram Calculation: Divides the price range into bins (as specified by resolution), counting hits in each bin to find the most frequented price level.
- POC Identification: The price level with the highest concentration of hits (or volume) is marked as the POC.
- Trend MA (Optional): If enabled, the indicator plots a moving average of the POC for trend analysis.
By integrating the Rolling Point of Control into your charting toolkit, you can significantly enhance your market analysis and potentially increase the accuracy of your trading decisions. Whether you're day trading or looking at longer time frames, this indicator offers a detailed, customizable perspective on market dynamics. 🌍💹
First In, First Out Moving AverageThis script is a tool designed to calculate a First In, First Out (FIFO) Moving Average (MA) using traded prices and volumes. Additionally, it computes the Point of Control (PoC) from, which identifies the price levels (developing POC) with the maximum volume. The script is built to provide traders with a comprehensive analysis of price movements and volume dynamics, enhancing their understanding of market trends and potential entry/exit points.
Understanding the Mechanics:
The script maintains arrays for prices and volumes, where hypothetical trades are added.
For long trades (identified by red candles/bars), traded prices and volumes are appended to the respective arrays.
Short trades (identified by green candles/bars) trigger the removal of volumes from the arrays following the FIFO principle.
This process ensures the adjustment of partial or complete removal of oldest entries based on traded volume.
Analyzing Profit and Loss (PnL):
The script also tracks a hypothetical Profit and Loss (PnL) to understand whether the outcome is in red (negative) or green (positive) - color of the FIFO MA.
Interpreting the Results:
Once the script is applied to the chart, traders can observe the FIFO Moving Average (MA) and Point of Control (PoC) lines plotted.
By analyzing these lines and the associated colors (indicating positive or negative PnL), traders can make informed decisions regarding market trends, support/resistance levels and potential trading opportunities.
Sequencer [LuxAlgo]The Sequencer indicator is a tool that is able to highlight sequences of prices based on their relative position to past prices, which allows a high degree of customization from the user.
Two phases are included in this script, a "Preparation" phase and a "Lead-Up" phase, each with a customizable amount of steps, as well as other characteristics.
Users can also highlight the last step leading to each phase completion with a level, this level can eventually be used as a key price point.
🔶 USAGE
The script highlights two phases, each being based on a sequence of events requiring prices to be higher/lower than prices various bars ago.
The completion of the preparation phase will lead to the evaluation of the lead-up phase, however, it isn't uncommon to see a reversal occurring after the completion of a preparation phase. In the script, bullish preparations are highlighted in green, while bearish preparations are highlighted in red.
Completion of a "Lead-Up" phase is indicative of a potential reversal, with a bullish reversal for the completion of a bullish lead-up (in blue), and a bearish reversal for the completion of a bearish lead-up (in orange).
Using a higher length for the preparation/lead-up phases can allow the detection of longer-term reversals.
Users wishing to display levels based on specific phases completion can do so from the settings in the "Preparation/Lead-Up Completion Levels" settings group.
The "Show Last" settings determine the amount of respective levels to display on the chart.
🔶 PREPARATION PHASE
The "Preparation" phase precedes the "Lead-Up" phase. The completion of this phase requires N successive prices to be lower than the closing price P bars ago for a bullish phase, and for prices to be higher than the closing price P bars ago for a bearish phase, where N is the user set "Preparation Phase Length" and P the user set "Comparison Period".
🔹 Refined Preparations
Sequences of the preparation phase can either be "Standard" or "Refined". Unlike the standard preparation previously described a refined preparation requires the low prices from the user-specified steps in "Refined Preparation Steps" to be above the low price of the last step for a bullish preparation phase, and for the high prices specified in the refined preparation steps to be below the high price of the last step for a bearish preparation phase.
🔶 LEAD-UP PHASE
The "Lead-Up" phase is initiated by the completion of the "Preparation" phase.
Completion of this phase requires the price to be lower than the low price P bars ago N times for a bullish phase, and for prices to be higher than the high price P bars ago N times for a bearish phase, where N is the user set "Lead-Up Phase Length" and P the user set "Comparison Period".
Unlike with the "Preparation" phase these conditions don't need to be successive for them to be valid and can occur at any time.
🔹 Lead-Up Cancellation
Incomplete "Lead-Up" phases can be canceled and removed from the chart once a preparation of the opposite sentiment is completed, avoiding lead-ups to be evaluated after completion of complete preparations.
This can be disabled by toggling off "Apply Cancellation".
🔹 Lead-Up Suspension
Like with refined preparations, we can require specific steps from the lead-up phase to be higher/lower than the price on the last step. This can be particularly important since we do not require lead-up steps to be successive.
For a bullish lead-up, the low of the last step must be lower than the minimum closing prices of the user-specified steps for it to be valid, while for a bearish lead-up, the high of the last step must be higher than the maximum closing prices of the user-specified steps for it to be valid.
This effectively allows for eliminating lead-up phases getting completed on opposite trends.
