Bitcoin Cost Per Transaction (QUANDL:BCHAIN/CPTRA)Simple script that graphically represents the Bitcoin Cost Per Transaction.
Blockchain data made available at QUANDL.
Its logic is simple, search the data in the QUANDL database and plot it on the chart.
Transaction
BTC Transaction/On-Chain Volume (Basic)Description:
Whale: Whale utilizing discounted prices (increasing on-chain volume & decreasing price)
Recovering: Positive momentum in price after potential whale activity
Cycle Volume Support: The transaction volume support during a cycle
What’s the best time to invest?
After institutions make up their mind at low price levels.
How’s on-chain volume related to whales or institutional money?
On-chain volume is contributed not only by using BTC as payment methods, but more importantly by large custodians using the BTC chain to settle internal whale trades. When OTC volume is estimated 2-3 times of exchange volume, and when total on-chain volume is only a small fraction of the exchange volume, the OTC settlement plays a big factor in moving the on-chain volume around.
Why does the price drop further after spotting whale money?
Does new money equal higher true value? Yes.
Does new money equal higher price? No.
Whales could not only ladder in when they see the price on discount, but also push the price further down to accumulate at better price levels. However, either route chosen, it’s most likely for the price to rise to a higher level compared to the level when the whales enter. Whales are here to make money after all.

Link to Instructions Page / Idea will be linked below.
Q: Why are we separating instructions from the indicator page?
A: Well Tradingview recently instituted a change that only open source script authors can gain rep for their efforts. Any script that is protected or invite only no longer gets points, even if its still free for anyone to use.
We (respectfully) disagree and feel that it is unfair. We ask everyone to like the IDEA (linked below) for this script if you want to support our efforts to keep releasing free (but protected source) indicators.
Bitcoin Number of TransactionsThe Bitcoin Number of Transactions plots the amount of transactions registered on-chain on a daily basis.
Bitcoin On-Chain VolumeThe Bitcoin On-Chain Volume is a reflection of the transactional volume registered in the blockchain.
The indicator can show the value either in BTC or USD.
Bitcoin Transaction FeesThe Bitcoin Transaction Fees is the fee value that miners earn on a daily basis.
The indicator can show the value either in BTC or USD.
Bitcoin Cost of Transaction (%)The Bitcoin Relative Cost of Transaction shows the miners' revenue as a percentage of the transaction volume registered in the block.
Bitcoin Cost per Transaction (USD)The Bitcoin Cost per Transaction (USD) is the result of dividing the miners' revenue (Block Reward + Transaction Fees) between the number of transactions per block.
Here is an example with made up numbers:
Block reward is 12.5 BTC + 0.5 BTC in transaction fees.
There are 2700 transactions in the block.
Current exchange rate is 5700 USD/BTC.
(12.5 BTC + 0.5 BTC) / 2700 transactions = 0.00481481 BTC per transaction
5700 USD/BTC * 0.00481481 BTC per transaction = $27.44 per transaction
Hope that helps!
Block Sale Transaction Alert!Understanding Block Transactions
Block transactions are transactions that are of a significantly high value. This can be a transaction of any
security that is large enough to have an impact on the market price and cause a flow-on effect of
investment that will ensue.
Block transactions are significant because the party who initiated the transaction is likely to be more
confident than the retail investor. Confidence can be assumed by the value of the transaction and the
source can be either,
a) an institutional fund with access to detailed and reliable information
or
b) a party with secret, insider knowledge that is currently undisclosed to the market.
For these reasons, being aware of block transactions is extremely important for anyone looking for a
new investment opportunity or risk management of current holdings.
Block Transaction Utility
This indicator is compatible with instant E-mail and SMS notifications so that the investor will be well
informed of institutional activity and make trading decisions quickly.
If a block transaction occurs, the user will be able to visualize whether it was a purchase or sale as it will
be textualized above or below the current bar if used with the Block Transaction Buy Alert found here:
Input Values
The visual representation of the transactions are customizable as you can adjust the shape, color, and
location by clicking “ Format ” at the top left of your chart, next to the indicator label.

UCSgears_Transaction Valuation IndexThis is an indicator, That works great in a wip-saw market range. Would not use this to trade in a breakout.
I am calling it the "Transaction Value Index (UCS_TVI)", The reason is because, it measure where the price currently from the mean trade value.
The cross represents the highest trade value on that day, circle represents the lowest trade value.
In other words, Top and bottom of the candle wicks, in relation to the mean trade value (MTV).
Watchout for Further Updates on Optimizing this indicator.
DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH FUNDAMENTAL VALUATION, THIS IS PURELY TECHNICAL VALUATION TECHNIQUE
As Usual, Good Luck
