The Squared Weighted Moving Average is similar to the classic Weighted Moving Average but the difference is that it squares the weights instead of the classic weight values. This is work in progress - but i wanted to see if there's interest to use or test it - or if someone finds it useful. there's already a crowd of great moving averages out there :) This is a different type of zero-lag weighted moving average - and it's a concept that i have been working on for a while now. Given that this is WIP, i decided to keep the code...
In this indicator you can use 5 moving averages in a single indicator. You can also adjust the moving averages time period and color code. Turning on/off is also available as per your convenience.
Here are my Bollinger Bands that come with 2 std dev bands and a variety of moving averages. The bands can have shading between the bands and the middle section can be shaded. Moving Averages include: SMA EMA Weighted Hull Symmetrical Volume Weighted Wilder Right now my 2 favorites are the Hull with a std dev of .5 and the Wilder with a std dev of 1.7 and 2.0....
Here's my Rainbow Moving Average indicator. There are 41 MAs. I also have cross over signals based on 2 separate MAs. I like to use 20 ahd 50 Hull MAs for the signals but you can set those up independently.
I am a big fan of Fibonacci EMAs, however I added the ability to look at multiple moving average types. Having the Fibonacci Moving Averages grouped together like this will make them much easier to manage with the object tree as well. Something I plan on using myself to remove clutter on my charts!
