"Am I on mute?" That was one of the key phrases of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic as the world shifted online amid global lockdowns to fight the virus. Now, as Planet Earth opens back up, the question on everyone's lips is: will those companies that benefited most from our "new normal" keep all their stellar gains in the long run?

This is a curated list based on non-clinical and vaccine-producing companies boosted by lockdown restrictions during the pandemic, such as technology-focused and delivery firms. This doesn't include companies that grew despite the pandemic, rather it focuses on businesses that indirectly or directly benefitted from a society turned inside out. 'Cos while we don't have a crystal ball, something tells us Apple and Microsoft still would've done just as well without a global pandemic. Just because it's in a list doesn't mean this is trading advice – you should always do your own research before placing a trade.
