Price Range


Application

This tool allows user to place points vertically on two different prices. A shaded box will then appear between the chosen points showing the range of the prices. Text will also appear along the box displaying the total size of the price moving in terms of actual share price, percentage and pips (ticks).

Style

In Style property dialog it is possible to change the appearance of the price range drawing tool:

Line

Sets the color, thickness and opacity level of the top and bottom lines of a price range.

Background

Toggles the visibility, color and opacity level of the space between the lines.

Extend Left/Extend Right

Use these checkboxes to extend the price range drawing horizontally through all the chart.

Label

Sets the color, opacity level, font type and size of the text on the label.

Label Background

Toggles visibility, color and opacity level of the label background.

Coordinates

In Coordinates properties dialog you can set precisely the position of the price range points on the price scale (by setting the price) and the time axis (by setting the bar number):

Price 1

Allows for the precise placement of the price range's first point (Price 1) using the price value and the number of bar.

Price 2

Allows for the precise placement of the price range's second point (Price 2) using the price value and the number of bar.

In the Visibility properties dialog, you can switch the Price Range tool displaying on charts of different timeframes:
