What does SG&A mean?

Selling, General & Administrative Expenses represent the expenses that are not directly related to a company’s production process. Instead, they represent the costs related to sales, general, and administrative functions that keep the company running internally. Total SG&A also includes research and development costs.

Why do other sources show different numbers for SG&A?

Due to different calculation methods, SG&A may differ depending on the source. Some sources do not include Research & Development costs into their SG&A calculation. On TradingView, you decide on the SG&A you want to look at - with or without R&D costs. Look for Selling, General & Administrative Expenses, Others and Selling, General & Administrative Expenses, Total.
