Exchange
Stock Exchange
A Stock Exchange is a centralized and regulated platform for trading securities (stocks, bonds, funds). It acts as an intermediary between investors and issuers, ensuring transparency, liquidity, and fair pricing.
The Stock, ETFs, and Bond screeners have a column and a filter that searches for specific stock exchanges in the selected market. Please note that this filter in the list of options displays only the list of exchanges available for this market. To select a different exchange, change the market.

CEX exchange
Centralized exchanges (CEX) are trading platforms that act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers of crypto assets. Transactions on CEX are carried out through the intermediary of the exchange, rather than directly from one user to another. Market liquidity is provided by market makers who place their buy and sell orders in the order book. As such exchanges are regulated, registration on most of them requires a KYC identity verification process. Crypto assets from CEX exchanges are located on the CEX Screener.

DEX exchange
Decentralized exchanges (DEX) allow users to interact directly in the peer-to-peer format, without the involvement of a centralized intermediary, through smart contracts that perform trading operations. Liquidity on DEX platforms is maintained by users themselves by depositing funds into liquidity pools managed by automated market makers (AMM). Crypto assets from DEX exchanges are located on the DEX Screener.
