An Idea for a New Direction!Looking at the two channels I’ve drawn here with a long position already in play at 33.03.
The Battle of the VIX 7/11/2020This is the VXX (ETF for VIX Futures) at the 4 hour view. The green line acted as support back in February when the crash happened. The top two candles then formed a resistance line ever since. I have the end of this triangle in the middle of next week. This battle isn't over yet. If the wedge breaks to the upside, then volatility may be back in the market.
As soon as I connected these dots, I saw a correlation of why Credit Suisse decided to delist TVIX. If this breaks to the upside, Credit Suisse would be paying so much money for TVIX...
VXX (VIX Futures ETF) 7/9/2020This is the VXX at the hourly. The VIX has been stuck between a downtrend resistance and an uptrend support. This wedge may end either tomorrow afternoon or Monday.
VIX is setting up a pattern for a possible breakout. I am saying that because I see a bull flag pattern at the hourly now.
VXX - Possible Falling Wedge Target for the end of the range marked. Looking for a bounce around 23-25 area. Once the wedge breaks, confirm the back test, then I’d short the market. Not until then though.
VXX - LongLong into close at 33.87 for me.
SL - Give it a little room, have a little patience, will post SL shortly. Might have liked to short IWM but none available to short into the close.
LONG VXXExpecting bounce from extremely oversold weekly and daily levels. If stop breached, be prepared to catch new daily reversal on lower levels with a tight stop.

VXX - Volatility Returning?Looks like it to me. After the huge spike VXX has consolidated in a flag pattern at the golden pocket that looks ready to go higher. This could be the week that things start to reverse course for the overall market. MACD and RSI looking favorable. Watching this very carefully.
VIX ReaderBreaking a Fib upwards indicates a momentum move on intense emotional trading - usually rainfall selling. Using this fib level on VXX will assist in decision to short, or long the market along SPY Fib indicators.
VXX to $80, iH&S formingWith Coronavirus cases surging, the global economy on the brink and a nice technical IH&S pattern forming I imagine we will go to $80 on the VXX. the confirmation of this is a breakout of the $42 area.

Will VXX take off?This seems like a wedge/channel breakout, and that VXX is going to 55. We can see a breakout then retest of upper trend line. In terms of Elliott Wave, this could be a breakout from a corrective Wave B triangle, into a Wave C. Technical analysis isn't about being certain of events, it's just insight to it's playbook.
I threw this chart out to a guy on Twitter, so it's fairly light and face value- I didnt' goo in depth. We'll see how it goes!
vxx looks ready fora small leg up atleastim bullish on equities but you'd be a fool not to buy this, on a fib, TD9.. lets se a 20% run this week!
