INDL provides an aggressive, daily 2x leveraged bet on the MSCI India Index. Anyone holding INDL for longer than a single trading day will be exposed to the effects of compounding, which means that the 2x multiple may not be achieved. Prior to January 3, 2017, INDL tracked the Indus India Index, and prior to October 30, 2020, the fund's leverage factor was daily 3x exposure. Its current index, the MSCI India Index, broadened INDLs exposure to cover approximately 85% of companies by market capitalization. The index is also rebalanced semi-annually.
