The fund holds USD-denominated, fixed rate and nonconvertible corporate issues, with 1 to 3 years remaining to maturity. The sectors included are Industrial, Utility, and Financial Institutions, which include both U.S. and non-US corporations. SPSB excludes structured notes with special features, private placements, floating rate securities, and Eurobonds. The underlying index is reconstituted monthly.
