Alibaba's revenue increased by 8% year-over-year to $38.4 billion, surpassing expectations by $130 million, marking its fastest growth since 2023. The company's cloud revenue growth picked up pace, rising 13% year-over-year (compared to 7% in the previous quarter), driven by six consecutive quarters of strong AI growth. Alibaba is heavily investing in AI, with CEO Eddie Wu stating that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is the company's "primary objective."

E-commerce also saw a recovery, with Taobao and Tmall revenue growing by 5%, including a 9% increase in customer management revenue, indicating stronger monetization. International commerce experienced a 32% jump, led by AliExpress and Trendyol.

Alibaba’s renewed focus on AI and infrastructure, along with a partnership with Apple to integrate its AI into iPhones in China, has contributed to a $100 billion rise in market capitalization in 2025. Despite intense competition from PDD and ByteDance, Alibaba’s strategy is proving successful.

Just opened a Robinhood account in the UK today cos my broker SaxoBank auto-closes 0DTEs 2hrs before close, whereas Robby closes 30mins before close. But i cant find SPY options. Only SPX and XSP. Its saying there is no early assignment risk, and that its european style options. Hows that gonna work if i dont have the collateral to exercise the options. Does anyone have any idea?

sitting on my calls I bought right at closing friday, jmo I think it will run in morning then sell off as usual ATM in time.
Once WS realizes companies have no choice but to build in the US it will run up as why I have long term calls months out waiting :).

This aint no fun. Am at work looking at minds now and again when free, and no-one posts nothing, not even no jokes. Guess i am the only trading freak on the SPY board. Force of nature - Livermore 2.0. Gonna unleash the venom on these MMs. They aint gonna know what hit them when Livermore 2.0 lands.
