GileadGILD- If you didn't hear the news, yesterday Gilead labs were accredited with a drug that has been positively treating COVID19 patients. I checked the price and it is very expensive already. I had a look at the chart today and noticed that the last time this stock crossed golden (50/200 MA) on the weekly, it skyrocketed. On top of that, it held support like a champ. That moment is about to happen yet again. It is high risk due to price, you have to allocate less shares to spare your capital and an appropriate stop loss is at the weekly 200 MA. You must be ok to lose about $12 a share if the trade goes south but I see a massive opportunity in the works.

Trade Journal: Long $GILD - 3/12/2020This is not my typical type of setup, however the prospects of GILD look very inciting. GILD is currently working on a coronavirus vaccine and is the closest to having a FDA approved vaccine in the future. Any positive announcements could cause GILD to spike in price as coronavirus fears continue. On the weekly chart, there is clear bottoming price action followed by accumulation recently due to the coronavirus news. The past few days, GILD has retraced back to it's breakout level due to the overall market weakness. On the daily chart, GILD retraced to and rejected the high volume node in the 62-68 area. Since this trade is outside of my usual timeframe, I am using 1/3rd risk on this trade. Entry - 68.86 Stop loss - 61.90 Target - 80-90 This is considered a long term trade. I will exit depending on the trend on the daily chart rather than the 30m chart.

Easy Swing?GILD is moving with the news these days but the risk vs. reward is looking good, even after coming of the Double Top. I would love to see it bounce of the trend line and buy around $71 for a easy swing to an $80 target. Any good news can make this happen sooner than later. Regardless of the outcome of the trials, big pharma is one of the safest spots to invest right now in my opinion. Take this all with a grain of salt and do your own homework. I honestly have no idea what I'm talking about but just throwing up some ideas to look back at later.
