COPEC fundamentals

Empresas Copec SA is a financial holding company, which engages in the investments on energy and natural resources; and distribution of liquid fuels, liquefied gas, and natural gas, and in electricity generation. It operates through the following segments: Arauco, Copec, Abastible, Igemar, Sonacol, and Others. The Arauco segment includes plantations, manufacture of market kraft pulp, and production of sawn timber and panels. The Copec segment involves in the distribution and marketing of fuels for domestic and industrial use. The Abastible segment comprises commercialization of liquefied gas. The company was founded on October 31, 1934 and is headquartered in Las Condes, Chile.
