BEAMUSDT Beam Foundation has introduced Beam NodesWith the Horizon upgrade, the Beam Network transitions to a permissionless, proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
Node Token Mint opens next week.
Initial Node Token Mint
▫️Mint fee: $1,250 during week 1, then $3,750.
▫️Payment in BEAM, USDC, ETH, or AVAX (week 1).
▫️After week 1, BEAM only.
▫️Mint fees paid in BEAM will be autonomously burned. USDC ETH, and AVAX will be autonomously swapped to BEAM and burned.
Validators and delegators earn two types of rewards:
1. Primary Rewards: Gas fees paid in BEAM.
2. Secondary Rewards: Protocol fees from BeamSwap, Beam Bridge & Sphere. Validator incentive grant tokens like ATH, SAGA, ZENT and many more.
After the Horizon upgrade (targeted by the end of January 2025), you’ll need at least the following to run a validator node:
1. 20,000 BEAM.
2. 1 Node Token.
3. Hardware requirements (More on Medium).
4. Fee paid to the Avalanche P-Chain (approx. 1.33 AVAX a month).
Beam Node Delegation
