TSLA If you wondering why he is picking fight with Trump, this is my analysis: It is based on his psychology (conscious or subconscious); we all humans have a hard time acknowledging our mistakes; this is specially more difficult for big figures. Deep down he knows joining Trump was a mistake. He was in denial in the first quarter and now he moved to the anger stage. He is angry because he wants to be in control. In other words, he rather be in the crisis he created than look at the numbers. See it as a distraction. He also feels used by Trump and not happy with seeing him as more powerful. You can also see his anger at firing one his loyal employee Omid Afshar. On the intellectual level, he also needs to repaint himself, redeem himself, in this case with distancing from Trump, getting close to Democratic Party, or creating a new party altogether. He needs to do that if he wants his empire to survive long term, but it also cost a lot to piss Trump, so he doesn’t know what to do. Probably nagging overtime to minimize the risk of vindictive Trump, and wait for a better time to go big in rebranding himself. These are foundation work. Later on he can also say I sacrificed my money to tell the truth, he wants to see the dip as the consequence of him being great not failed business strategy and bad numbers
TSLA for the new comers, my understanding of Tesla is : Elon has created an ecosystem or empire. One is he created super loyal fanboy supporter base group. These are usually the people who are either not that smart or think the world doesn’t appreciate their IQ. For this group it doesn’t matter, if Elon says something that’s it. He tapped to their psyche by marketing himself as outcast genius. Two is group of online influencer whom get the benefits from praising him. These are in X, Reddit, even here to take control of the narrative. Three is the passive investors whom he convinced Tesla is a long term winner, so they wouldn’t sell or abandon their position until it gets crazy. Four is he paid analysts directly or indirectly to amplify false narratives. Five is he has scared the shit of short sellers in Wall Street with many smart techniques, so these folks wouldn’t get involved unless they see the blood due to high risks Six is he is genius in marketing and manipulation, sometimes it seems he doesn’t do anything except strategizing his marketing. I can give specific examples and detail for my reasoning for each group but that would be very long. So overall it’s a foundation-less ecosystem that can sustain itself, but it is shaky these days. It can crumble with enough force or it will win and survive
TSLA The feverish cheering and desperation from politically stunted individuals is all I need to know it won’t go down much further than this. Buy for easy countertrade.
