NVDA trade ideas

Rising channel NVDA NVDA looks to be range bound within a rising channel since November 2023. Bounced off the channel top on June 18th and has been heading downwards for the past 10 days. A break of this channel to the upside or downside would indicate significant bullish or bearish momentum. I'll keep on eye on this channel and update as it progresses.

NVDA April 26, 2024: An Attempt to Resume the Uptrend On April 26, 2024, The weekly chart of NASDAQ:NDX shows a weekly recovery from the MA-30 week. NASDAQ:NDX closed near the weekly high which is encouraging. The current close is right near the resistance 17,780 which was broken during the week April 15-19. Looking closer at the daily chart we can see that the resistance is at the same level with both MA-20, MA-50, therefore this is a key level challenging the market next week. I started to buy a pilot position in NASDAQ:NVDA around the close of April 26. Reasons: Crossed up MA-20 Crossed up MA-50 Crossed up the small trendline (yellow line on the chart) This happened before the NASDAQ:NDX did so as described above.

Exhausted In this year we have risen by almost 150 %. Since May alone we've gained over 40 %. In my taste this is to fast and needs a correction in the next time. One friend had claimed recently that the marked will not follow my taste. He is right. But the market will not follow the chart as well. That's why we work with stop loss orders. Taste or feeling is a matter of experience as like the interpretation of charts.

A few decisions based on the shadow of the 116 The pivot points from support & resistance have been bouncing off these clear areas for a while since the split, but I do see something exciting and that is the Bollinger band being on the last cycle on 111 if 116 breaks, this could be the next test unless 116 doesn't crack and 130 is still on the cards.

Identical Move To March/April 2024 The chart and price action speak for themselves. The current move looks almost identical to the move from March/April after Q1 earnings. Both times we had a gap up on earnings and NVDA has been exhibiting the EXACT same path forward. Gap up on earnings --> peak twice --> break trend --> test and bounce off demand --> attempt to retest broken trend --> further weakness --> break lower. If this continues, price should reach lower bound of the channel in the next two weeks (108-110), which coincidentally fills the gap from May, before another run up into earnings. It can't be that easy, can it? We'll see.

NVDA Megaphone NVDA has been unstoppable, it is the last ticker I would short personally. It's an important watch though, it can single handedly move NQ around as we've seen lately. NVDA recovered on Friday with the rest of the mag 7, but it has weakened significantly since topping out near $140. My first downside target is $117, followed by $95-$100. To the upside, first target is ATH and then it is blue skies from there.

NVDA Short There is bearish divergence on the weekly time frame, on the monthly time frame RSI has not been this over extended since November of 2021. NVDA is long overdue for a pullback, i think the risk to reward buying at this point is not worth it.

NVDA is in correction territory Might have pullback to upwards $122-25 level because daily and 1H stochastic shows bullish cross and signs oversold.
