AMD I was bullish on AMD at $135 and frankly surprised to see weak sales. Doesn't feel like the bottom either. Would be targeting $93-95 as a key entry opportunity.
AMD – Remember the good old days when AMD was soaring above the clouds? Feels like forever since this stock was solidly in the green. Despite being the closest competitor to the giant NVDA, it’s getting treated worse than Intel—almost like a penny stock on the brink of bankruptcy.
Still, I’ll keep buying, even if it’s a falling knife. I see this dropping to the $95-$100 range before any potential turnaround—if that even happens.
AMD Potential Scenarios A possible outcome is a channel breakout, indicated by a decisive weekly close above the channel’s upper trendline on above-average volume, which could signal a trend shift—especially if the price then reclaims the 21-week or 50-week moving average. On the other hand, if the stock fails to hold the lower boundary and stays under key moving averages, it may continue drifting lower until it finds a stronger support level. There is also the chance of sideways consolidation within the channel, where the stock coils up before either breaking higher or extending the downtrend; in this case, keep an eye on the slope of the moving averages and volume clues to anticipate the direction. Overall, even though the weekly Stoch RSI oversold reading suggests a short-term bounce, the broader trend remains down until proven otherwise. Long-term holders may wait for a meaningful shift in the moving averages or a definitive breakout from the descending channel to confirm a more sustained uptrend.
