AMBA breaking out from 3 year baseNot too long ago AMBA was a Wall Street darling until Citron sniped them (one of their few good short calls). After three years of price action purgatory, AMBA looks ready to rock again. I"ll be watching for some red-to-green price action for an entry. I'd like a retest of the previous highs (~$65) but it doesn't look like it wants to get there.

Ambarella (The Worst is Over?)Ambarella used to be the darling few years ago.
So, is the worst over now?
Do your own Fundamental research.
But the charts are telling us that it is prime for a move to the upside and begins a new bull market rally.
But there are plenty of resistance and things will be more clear after breaking up the all time high.
Can Ambarella breaks that and go higher? It all depends on Fundamentals.
That's why I used technical and fundamental in my analysis.
Ambarella is a small cap stock, so the risk reward ratio is high here.

AMBARELLA shakes of the Go-Pro Ghost. Not many seen that coming especially the 13% short interest, rough day for them tomorrow. Not alone did ambarella easily beat the consensus earnings estimate, but they have now also increased their outlook
for the remainder for the rest of 2019.
After a 18% move it probably isn't a great idea to go chasing this, if you've missed it, wait to see what happens, it has hit resistance after hours and despite the move, it is still 56% of ots all time highs.

AMBA day trade earningsAMBA's direction is confused right now, it has gaped up after positive earnings reports. I would keep a non-biased approach to it depending on how it goes premarket and at the market open, if it fades i would go short to fill the gap 44.07 until 40.55. If it goes further up could go long (depending on market direction) until the trendlines indicated in the drawing. Main thing is good volume, at least 500,000 shares trades in the first 5 minutes of market open.
Ambarella Skyrockets on a Surprise Earnings BeatWow what a bounce! Surprise earnings for Ambarella, I like the name :D:D:D
Reminds me of Italy <3
An important note is regarding the share float of only 32.73 Millions. Not what we would prefer to trade safely. Price action could jump wildly stopping us out. Therefore be careful!!
I have marked the next pivots and level of support/resistance that might be tested in 06/05/2019 trading session (Tomorrow).
If there is no change I won't be surprise to see the stock keeping testing next higher levels. Though is getting quiet overextended thus a fade testing 100sMA at 42.54 could be a possibility that could vanish perhaps by lunch time when the stock could take back the main up trend impulse. The stock definitely could run next days if stabilize at new high levels.
A nice long above pm levels is my main idea on it but I repeat I would not discard a possible fade to 43sh zone.
As usual:
1) minimum vol 50K at the open
2) Rvol above 2
3) pm pattern does not change
4) 100k per minute for the first minutes!
Have a nice trading session!!
$AMBA Earnings should be ok, but China is the problem. On the 22nd may shares of NASDAQ:AMBA fell 12% following reports that its chinese customer HIK would be added to the banned list. Possibly a knee jerk reaction as this is purely speculation and AMBA is not actually registered in the USA. The earnings call might shed some light on the issue. On a more positive issue AMBA recently announced a exciting partnership with Baolong Technology to develop a advanced AI driver monitoring platform. Buyers have returned to the name in the last few days running into earnings which is encouraging and AMBA is expected to meet or beat expectations. This is a risky sector to be getting into in the current market but has a high RR and the short interest could help propel the stock on any rally.

$AMBA Ambarella deserves consideration. There is light at the end of the very dark tunnel at long last for AMBA investors, 2015 highs of $115 are still a long way ahead. In our opinion the stock has found a bottom and is on the crest of a innovation wave. New product launches and partnerships have provided optimism with a more diversified revenue stream. Currently Analysts have a average Overweight rating on the stock but as earnings approach this could very well change.

AMBA: Earning play at your own risk. High reward play. They have gotten away from consumer electronic and involved in computer vision market. This is what everyone is getting into looks like. All the self driving cars need this tech. Future is bright. Key things to remember is that they still have tons of shorts and the expectancy is low for this qtr. Slight better numbers or guidance will send this 10% higher.
I will be waiting for this this to come down to 39.75 or so on Monday and open some LOTTO calls. Prices marked. If this goes past 43.xx strongly then hits 44.xx
