LAZR looking future proofYesterday I added Luminar Technologies NASDAQ:LAZR to my portfolio.
I had this stock on my watch for a couple of months, right after the merger with the SPAC and the share price took off.
Yesterday LAZR published their first Quarterly earnings and provided a business update. In my opinion there were not really shocking information.
On the other hand LAZR also announced a strategic partnership with the largest Chinese automaker SSE:600104 . SAIC said about this deal: “The only autonomous vehicle company we seriously considered was Luminar - they are in a league of their own in lidar technology and software, uniquely enabling us to achieve our vision in series production.”
To me this is a confirmation that LAZR has a clear advantage over their competitors in what I believe is a booming market for the next 5-10 years. The automobile landscape is changing with the broader adoption of EV's, but I believe the biggest change will be autonomous driving and LAZR is currently well positioned to be a market leader in that market.

LAZR has recently pulled back to the IPO price or in this scenario the support zone. If LAZR makes recovery to its previous high it offers a little bit over 65% ROI

I recommend selling at its previous high which offers a 65% ROI.
Fundamentals: LAZR engages in making autonomous driving safe and has been backed by top-tier investors. I believe this company is set to grow since they occupy a sector that is greatly going to be needed in the next decade. Their fundamentals are messy and not great however they are a relatively new company.

LAZR Back in Buy Zone, Potential Swing up to $40Luminar Tech shares have broken their support levels but have now found an old important buy zone. This tells me that it is time to get in on this and swing it back up to $40. Risk should be relatively low, and I think the company has a lot of room to grow fundamentally as well. Good Luck!

LAZR (was GMHI Pre-SPAC) *BIG GAMBLE*Rumors of Apple using Luminar hardware, even if Apple ultimately settles on licensing some tech and building its own sensors, will likely send this one higher on speculation.
I also like the coincidental timing with the current Symmetrical Triangle.
Will we see it break up? I think so but I also detailed the chart with technical levels to be aware of.

LAZR Breaks Bottom of Bullish Flag, Finds SupportLuminar Tech shares broke the bottom of the wedge they have been forming today, falling over 7%. In doing this, they found support. They also are resting on the bottom of the RSI, another bullish sign. Expect a bounce soon as they rise back up into the wedge. I still think a breakout is coming, maybe around the 5th or so. $LAZR 2/22$LAZR took a hit with the rest of the market, but still barely holding on. Broke trendline support but closed right at the 50EMA. Looking for a bounce from here tomorrow or it could break down further to (at least) the bottom of the channel.
$LAZR 2/22$LAZR Held up much better in the market sell-off today than $VLDR. Drpped below the trendline, but stopped right at 50EMA. Could be ready to bounce off this, but if this support is breached this could begin to breakdown.
$LAZR 2/21$LAZR at support of channel and RSI. Apple rumors with LiDAR supplier for self-driving cars could could cause some hype here. Along with $VLDR. Large 1.5M volume Friday at 11am when the rumors hit the news that sent this up 7% but relaxed later on. Could be gearing up for a breakout, or at least back up to resistance.
LUMINAR - Lets Fly ✈️Luminar is one of the top Lidar Technology companies that been applied for an IPO. Recently they closed a deal with Daimler Truck (The parent company of the Mercedes-Benz). What is more attractive is that their Income statement grew by 24,862.07% from 2018 to 2019 and their Cash Flow went from -122.51K in 2018 to +6.76 million (5,620.22% increase) in 2019. Looks very bullish! We have added more shares today to our LAZR portfolio. Let's wait and see!

$LAZR - 50MA bounceAnother one we were in last week and sold once it breakout of the range it was in. As you guys know I like the bounces off the 20man after pullbacks, but this one, just like BLNK bounced right off the 50MA today. Worth keeping an eye on as the market rotates back to momentum stocks.
LAZR WEEKLY PRICE TARGET.Last weeks prediction was right. This one might be too. It looks like it created a new higher support. This is my price prediction for this or the next week.
LAZR- Increasingly crowded LiDAR spaceWhile VLDR focuses more on LiDAR's robotics and industrial application, LAZR is solely focusing on LiDAR's application in the automobile sector.
According to Orlando news, LAZR has rapidly gained 50 industry partners, including 7 of the top 10 global automotive OEMs, and has received minority investments from the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Daimler Truck AG and Volvo, a global leader in automotive safety, to bring autonomous trucks and cars to highways, respectively.
MobileEye's potential plan to build its own LiDAR, along with LAZR's lofty valuation compared to its peers, may negatively affect LAZR's price in the short run. However, Volvo's plan to roll out a level 3 car in 2022 using Luminar's LiDAR, Mercedes's partnership and LAZR's singular focus to build LiDAR that is commercially viable for mass-produced consumer cars should keep LAZR's share price afloat in the foreseeable future.
In the short-term, I expect some lvl of price uncertainty as Innoviz has already gone public and so will Aeva in the near future in this increasingly crowded LiDAR space.
Why I have a position in LAZRThere's a lot to love when looking at this chart.
The first thing to notice is the huge triangle we are in, the expansion is only as big as the contraction. So we should see a lot of upside on this breakout.
Now notice how the volume has finally begun to pick up after declining for roughly 2 months of declining volume.
The red candle today still stayed above the 8 ema, looking at the OBV (On-Balance-Indicator) we are still on an uptrend, RSI needs to break above that resistance an more than likely that indicates the start of the breakout
Targets and Levels:
Need to hold $35 to continue on an uptrend
Break of $38 and we can test our green box target
Green box target is $40-$41.5
Final price projection is $45
