Pull Back Fishing Earnings 10-20VZ pays almost a 5% dividend so I am wondering when someone will pick this up? 3 year low is 48.84 so perhaps a place for a stop is you wanted to be on the really safe side or under most recent low somewhere which is 50.86 which is the yearly low as of yesterday. VZ fell past immediate support and that support can become resistance. Price is outside the lower band and has stayed below it for longer than many dwell down there. 3 big red ones which looks very bearish but can flush panicky sellers out as well. Negative moving average crossovers. It looks like VZ paid dividends recently on 10-7-21. There are people who buy before dividends then sell after they collect it. I do not do this but I know people who do. I suppose it is a hazard that comes with paying a high dividend. This possibly contributed to the recent downtrend. Just guessing. Negative volume is high. Short interest less than 1%. The moving averages need a lot of work. No recommendation.

VZ short put, Nov 19VZ is into a level of tested demand Sold 42 DTE, Nov 19, 11.59% AROI, 4.24% from underlying price Yield at strike is a decent 4.78% which is way over the US10Y hurdle rate by 3x It's pushing below the Feb 2021 spike low, but it seems to be very passive selling to me the past 6 months. Lots of back filling and retracing to push lower. Like a robot is just refreshing the offer lower. Trend on the daily is absolutely Down. But it's into Previous demand and 53.40 level is where I see -1 sigma value where algos could step in to buy. I don't mind being long VZ outright, but I like the idea of bidding for 52.50 even better. Because if it goes to 51.55 I split the difference. It's a down day into new lows and that's the best time to sell put premium, so I did.

Falling Wedge- BullishBeen watching VZ for a while now and has been holding this wedge for quite some time, with quadruple witching coming up on the 17th and September being historically a bad time for equities, a low beta stock like VZ should theoretically outperform the broader markets. (VZ Beta = 0.45). From a technical standpoint, VZ is also looking quite nice, closed yesterday sitting right on its 20-day SMA (not pictured), falling wedge on the 4hour and daily timeframes, Bollinger bands are also squeezing, with volume- should pop. Just some FIB levels & RSI-based supply and demand zones to keep an eye on- Bullish and looking for a breakout. PT1- $55.70 PT2- $56.33 PT3- $57.82+

VZ $65 PT printing ascending channel Verizon is well-positioned for the increasing consumer demand for better networks and services as the company continues implementing its 5G technology, which could be a catalyst putting the company back on the growth path.5G subscriptions are expected to reach 3 billion subscriptions worldwide by 2025. Moreover, the fifth-generation connectivity is expected to drive the market growth of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT). Internet connectivity is expected to show a fast speed with very low latency.A recent study expects explosive growth in 5G wireless subscriptions in the U.S. over the coming years. The study reads The number of US 5G mobile service subscriptions will increase 161.4% to 41.3 million in 2021, with growth expected to continue at tremendous rates for several years. Great time to get in technically as the VZ is in a clear ascending triangle within a larger ascending channel which has been in play for over a year. Given we are at the lower range of this channel I believe its a great time to pick up some VZ which has proven to be a safe stock that does well in times of uncertainty relative to the market as a whole, and can help bring your portfolio's beta or volatility down.

Verizon WirelessLooks like the XLC is down today when compared to yesterday. Went from a 90% stochastic to currently 79% around noon today. I've been watching sector for the past couple of weeks. In my opinion, this company has reasonable financials with a quality product and consistent customer base. I noticed that price was at a support a few days ago and entered a debit spread last week. However, I want to own the company so I revisited. I saw last that the stochastic was oversold on the Daily, 4 hour, and 1 hour. Everything looks the same outside of the 4 hour. I'm giving this the benefit of doubt because of the way the market opened today. Price is still at support or close by and I have used the Fibonacci tool to retrace the previous high up to 38-61%. What do you think?
