$DPZ short ideaJust in line with the market $SPY $ES_F a short setup here. Chart looks really weak, indexes look weak, so going for it with a good r/r. Similar companies got some moves $PZZA $YUM $CMG but this one not even that, so someone might say that it is time for a pump -- well I'm betting the opposite, puke. Shortby PurpleGoatPublished 0

DPZ - Pizza Anyone?Hello everyone, if you like the idea, do not forget to support with a like and follow. WEEKLY: Right Chart DPZ is overall bullish trading inside the blue rising broadening wedge, and now approaching the lower blue trendline so we will be looking for trend-following buy setups on lower timeframes. DAILY: Left Chart DPZ is forming a channel in red but the upper trendline is not valid yet, so we are waiting for a new swing high to form around it to consider it our trigger swing. Trigger => Waiting for that swing high to form and then buy after a momentum candle close above it (gray zone) Meanwhile, until the buy is activated , DPZ would be overall bearish can still trade lower. Buy Domino's 🍕???Technicals We're now at the 38.2 % Fib retracement, which would be an excellent correction in a bullish trend. We have been in the big picture for over ten years in a bullish trend. So the underlying trend may continue. Concerning the last 15 years, we have a robust bullish seasonality in Domino's Pizza. From the 24th of Feb until the 12th of May, only one year returned with a negative result in the given period. All other technicals are somewhat bearish. Others? I think that even when the economy collapses - people will still eat pizza (and order them ;) ). So I'm positioned long in this stock. It's a speculative position - I don't know if the correction was big enough; otherwise, we will see 395 or even 355 USD prices before it goes up again.Longby p4917Updated 1
If DPZ doesn't hold here, pretty good chance it hits $375 areaDPZ currently at Monthly SR level, I personally feel like it's not going to hold and will drop down to the $375 area which is weekly support and also a volume area. Shortby DefiJothPublished 1
Dominos dropping more?Looking at the M shaped curve for Dominos, it seems like it is setup for a symmetrical drop down to 350$ range. Couple in inflation costs, labour shortages and supply chain issues this drop can be as fast 3 months.Shortby newtraderonPublished 0
Domino's Pizza breakout or fakeout?Domino's Pizza (DPZ) hit an all time high today $561.92, for no apparent reason I can find. The average daily volume for this stock is only around 400k, so this was a very curious move today. Anyways, it looks like a fake breakout because piRSI was showing overbought in the morning, then piRSI printed a bearish cross at 1:30pm today and the price action followed it down soon afterwards. However, net volume on Fibonacci VIP, which is a faster indicator, dropped at 1:15pm and popped at 3:15pm. The setup here looks better for a short position, but for now I'm posting this as neutral until I see wassup tomorrow / this week. Dominos - Master Splinter is fed up!-Domino’s Pizza on Thursday reported that its U.S. same-store sales climbed 3.5% in its latest quarter, despite tough comparisons to its skyrocketing sales during lockdowns last year. -Shares of the company rose more than 11% in morning trading. -Here’s what the company reported compared with what Wall Street was expecting, based on a survey of analysts by Refinitiv: Earnings per share: $3.12 adjusted vs. $2.87 expected Revenue: $1.03 billion vs. $972.3 million expected -The pizza chain reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $116.6 million, or $3.06 per share, down from $118.7 million, or $2.99 per share, a year earlier. -Currently, we have a hold position on this boy. Needs to cool down a little bit before continuing the rise. -The estimate stock price by analysts for Dominos was standing at $625 (high), $535 (median) and $410 (low). Currently Dominos is super close to the high $625 price target where a strong resistance can be found. We expect the Dominos to rise to $600-620 levels and drop from there to more reasonable levels for the later rise. Shortby caldooninvestmentPublished 12125
DPZ (Domino's Pizza) Short: Bearish divergence and upwicks #0003Weekly: Closed lower, after upwick, impulse is blue (meaning MACD-H ticking down). Latest top diverging with previous local top. Often times, the 2.5 ATR level is a turning point for tops. Daily: A nice set of divergences, on MACD lines, MACD-Histogram, and EFI. Even there is a divergence on Stochastic RSI, as well as ATR lines, showing an ATR channel divergence (see the two purple arrows). . We can also see 2 long upwicks, supporting the idea that bulls run out of steam and the selling pressure comes in, as these price levels are rejected, and end of day closes close to the open price. The entry can be either here, but I will wait the market open first, to see how it opens. I will post a chart on how I think I can enter, on a shorter Timeframe Stoploss will be place somere halfway the upwick of the previous candle, around 465,1 Entry: 457 Target 1: 444,1 Target 2: 439,1 SL: 465,1 R/R ratio: 1:1.6, 1:2.1 Shortby Tornado_TradingUpdated 0
Weekly Bearish Pinbar followed by a Shooting Star Retest2 Weeks ago DPZ tried to conquer the level of 432 and failed then tried again this week and confirmed it's failure. We now have Hidden Bearish Divergence on the MFI and we have Weekly Momentum Pointing downwards on the Momentum Indicator. I will be looking for around an 80 percent pullback towards the $330 area from here.Shortby RizeSenpaiPublished 0

Overweight DPZDPZ is in the penalty box for a profit miss on recent earnings + downward analyst price target revisions. Risings costs can comfortably be passed through to their loyal & growing (+17.5% same store sales growth) customer base. Their web & mobile UI/UX remains unparalleled and by the way, the pizza is still AMAZING. I recommend trying their pizza with the garlic parmesan white sauce instead of the default robust tomato sauce. Management has navigated this pandemic better than any of their competitors and continue to focus on gaining market share as football season and cold weather sets in. Let's talk valuation - if you think a 33 PE is expensive, look at Chipotle's (CMG) 142 multiple and tell me which has more multiple upside on any downtick in food prices? The generational buy was the 200DMA (pandemic bottom/blue squiggly line) and as tempting as it is to drop some resting bids there, I can't imagine even a partial re-shutdown takes DPZ that low as support developed above the 0.382 fibonacci retracement on the current uptrend. On a relative strength basis, DPZ appears to be close to bottoming here. I'll be averaging in from here to $380-375. I like this for the long run but shorter time horizons can look to take profit or take out their cost basis at about $420 (har har Elon) to play the range or with the house's money beyond that intermediate resistance. NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE. DYOH. Be safe, trade safe!Longby capricornicationUpdated 2
$DPZ - upgraded + revenge = success? $DPZ is the stock that has burned me the most. Hence, why I study and chart, and re-chart, this ticker. Citi analyst has upgraded the stock with a buy target of $435. Revenge trading is bad, unless it works, then it is cathartic. I will be picking up DPZ calls with a June or later expiration, should the right shoulder pull back as expected. This is high on the watch listLongby katblatPublished 1
