Let's try to anticipate the market - SWING STRATEGYHello traders. Leave a like or comment if this analysis is useful for you. NKLA shares experienced a particularly volatile semester. It is a company founded in 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona, listed on the US Stock exchange since may, which has the ambition to change the world of heavy transport, launching a range of trucks powered first by electricity, then by hydrogen from next months/years. The start was immediately astonishing: within three sessions Nikola's market capitalization exceeded the 13 billion dollar mark. However, a series of unpleasant events involving the founder both in his corporate position and in the private life have reduced the price of his shares. Yesterday, however, Nikola shares rise after company reconfirms strategy following founder Trevor Milton's resignation, with a " Bollinger rebound ". Now the biggest challenge for the NKLA price is to break the $29 threshold to hope for a lasting uptrend, otherwise a trend reversal at least up to the support at $18 remains more likely, hoping that it will remain a strong support and positive market news will push NKLA towards a turnaround.

Look for a close below the the lower trendline drawn across the handle with above average volume (50M). Unfortunately for GM & long share holders, NKLA warrants give the holder a right to buy Nikola for $11.50 a share. Not to mention all the terribly negative news over the past 2 weeks. I'm not going to re-hash it here but unless you've been living under a rock... With a net debt of -$702M & Free Cash Flow $-52M, NKLA is going to $9 per share eventually. Nikola has a 4 month high of $93.99 and a 4 month low of $10.20, that's a whole lot of volatility. If you are long NKLA shares, a word of caution here, pick up a NKLA $20 Put for insurance (9/25 $19.46 close). Because NKLA is so volatile, the only plausible options play I see here is a NKLA $20 straddle or a looser $22-$18 strangle. Happy trading and Good luck people.
