These Buyers are PUMPED!Is this an accident waiting to happen? Not a recommendation to go long. If I did the short stuff, this looks like a good one perhaps I know Vivint solar merged with SunRun..and there is a lot of enthusiasm surrounding solar as of late. (Vivint has the same pattern) This is cheaper I guess than SEDG or ENPH BUT??? I see large player interest as well which surprised me so who knows. At some point someone is going to take profit I would think..and the sea of green will drown some folks..I hope not though

RUN breaks resistance at 22.60, finds new supportRUN broke resistance today, having a high of 23.66, then dropping to find new support at 22.76 Earnings are coming up, and estimates have analysts bullish on the stock according to finance.yahoo.com It has support, potentially better-then-expected earnings ahead, and did well today in a bad market. It is competing well with $TSLA in the solar and battery department, and was on a breakout today. Maybe a rally tomorrow? 5DMA looks good and the ichimoku cloud is still in the green at close. Looks promising to me.

RUN finds support at 21.45 todayRUN came out hot at open, surging 4% an hour after the open, then pulling back to 21.60. Earnings coming on Feb 27, price looking to stay up before then. Needs to break 52w high at $22.40 tomorrow, should stay up to earnings. As a company, earnings look promising, and company is beating TSLA in battery and solar tech. Seems promising. Would be getting in at the end of the day, entry price $21.85, target price $24, stop loss $22.30. New support line today at $21.45.

It sells solar service offerings and install solar energy systems for homeowners through its direct-to-consumer channel. It also offers plans such as monthly lease, full amount lease, purchase system, and monthly loan. The company was founded by Edward H. Fenster, Robert N. Kreamer and Lynn M. Jurich in January 2007 and is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.

Price Levels using Fib.Sunrun Inc. caught my attention after being listed as a possible top stock choice for 2020. Solar energy still has some ways to go in terms of cost, efficiency and maintenance IMO. This company however, is growing so fast it can't support the expansion of new employees being trained to meet the market demand. Seems like this trade could work out long term (I'm holding for 1 year - friendly competition) so I'll be banking on those earnings to show profit soon. Trade idea is from: - Using fib retracement from Highs and Lows of July/Aug - Nov/Dec 2019 - Using fib extension from points of Dec 11 / 20 / 31, 2019 - Using Heikin Ashi for momentum - Using 50-100-200-EMAs - Using VWAP (Weekly, Offset: 2) What's happening: Resistance-turned-Support @ 14.90 ~~ Look for this area for a slight bounce. It previously acted as support before the stock drove lower. It was also a small resistance that upward momentum eventually won (Dec 18-27). Currently the stock is trading @ 200-EMA ~~ Look for a slight pullback to possibly test support either at the 100-EMA or 14.90. However, if it could push through the 200-EMA there's a higher chance to test 16.00 Above VWAP @ 15.14 ~~ Considered good momentum to more upside. If it touches the VWAP or goes under (and a candlestick is RED) then it would signal a possible move down. Look for the support if so. What's my trade: (Where I would exit if I could but I'm holding for a year) Resistance @ 16.00 ~~ First milestone to achieve. Will need to close ABOVE if it wants any chance of going higher before earnings. Resistance @ 16.50 ~~ The 1.618 exit point. Resistance @ 17.00 ~~ The 0.5 retracement point from year highs. I don't anticipate the stock soaring above 17 within the next 3 months without any catalyst events. My prediction is that it would trade sideways between 16.00 - 16.50 until earnings. $RUN Short - 1D TFI am shorting $RUN on 1D TF. Price broke DC20 downwards on daily TF. MA50 is crossing MA200 on daily downwards. Weekly closed below MA50 and may be ready to revisit weekly MA200. Daily RSI is bearish - below 40. MACD is bearish on daily. ATR is about to grow. SL if daily price closes above DC20, MA50 and MA200 and to be monitored based on price progress.
