V Bottom ScallopLooks like a pull back is coming but who knows. I plan to buy more with a pull back.
YUM is overbought with daily RSI set on 80 verses 70. It is also overbought on weekly RSI. Securities can remain overbought for an extended period of time, but I do not like buying more of this while it is overbought )o:
Long entry level can be important to your psyche to help you hang later on.
Not a recommendation.
Scallops look like cups in a way but they lack a handle. They can be ascending or descending. The trend should be upward leading to an ascending scallop. The pattern looks like the letter J. You can measure the pattern then project it up from break out level which is left lip of the pattern. Increased volume leads to better performance. I have noted these patterns often come back down to earth to form a handle.
Not a recommendation.
V BottomA V bottom waits on a the prior high for long entry level, as a rule.
There is also a cup forming. YUM appears to be trading in a horizontal channel right now. A time of consolidation.
This may be a time consuming ventrue, making it to long entry level and reaching targets. Entering close to support can make the journey less stressful if you do not want to wait for long entry evel (Like you are supposed to do)..lol I have been in this one for quite a while so I will hang

YUM Brands: Great Earnings, Long Term Hold PotentialYUM brands has been consistently beating earnings and revenue expectations in the past, and is stably growing. I recommend a long hold given support levels + stock correlations. Options are looking tempting. That said, please do your own due diligence and invest at your own risk. Everything I say is on an opinion based basis.
YUM - Monday, Nov 2 - Bounce! There aren't a lot of stocks out there I'd be comfortable holding thru a 2nd or 3rd wave of a pandemic. This one looks promising. Looking for a bounce off of last weeks lows. There's a short term on-balance volume price action divergence. Taco Bell/Pizza Hut/KFC are all doing well enough while other food venues are being forced to shut down. The 2% dividend is as good as a high yield savings, immediately prior to the pandemic.
Still have room to move UPI am bullish on this counter as I forsee more business coming as slowly, states are opening up and more people are returning to the workforce. The vaccine development is a matter of time and once that is completed along with the US election, things should get more stabilised.
YUM - 4.02% Potential Profit - Ascending TriangleAscending triangle formed after a 5-month correction. Multiple new support confirmation over the past few days.
There is a potential to aim March's high and target a $105 price mark. However, not before we break past our original target exit below.
Despite profit potential might not seem appealing, I still feel that the risk/reward ratio is acceptable. Needless to say that the price will highly be influenced by vaccine-related news, given YUM's industry.
- Target Entry $98.79

- Note that I tend to adjust stop losses in order to secure profits early and preserve capital. This means that the target price is going to be achieved as long as there are no strong pullbacks that trigger my new adjusted stop loss
