The company manufactures ferrous castings comprising stainless steel castings of various grades and carbon steel; and non-ferrous castings, including cobalt and nickel base alloy castings. Its products are used in a range of industries, such as pumps and valve industries, oil and refineries, general engineering, electrical engineering, fire control equipment, medical implants, agricultural machineries, defense industries, etc. In addition, it generates power from wind energy. It also supplies its products in the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Hungary, and France. The company was founded by Dhirubhai Haribhai Dand in 1980 and is headquartered in Junagadh, India.
