Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co. Ltd. is a holding company, which engages in diversified businesses. It operates through the following segments: Textile, Tea, Engineering, and Property. The Textile segment produces cotton and man made fiber, yarn and blends. The Engineering segment is involved in structural engineering, steel fabrication, execution of turn-key projects and other engineering work under Modern India Construction company. The Property segment owns a four-storied commercial building. The Tea segment produces Assam & Dooars quality tea. The company was founded by F. M. Gillanders and G. C. Arbuthnot on February 01, 1935 and is headquartered in Kolkata, India.
