Larsen & Toubro (LT) a buy on dips (Elliott Wave Analysis)In this article I'm doing Elliott Wave Analysis of LT .
As per the posted chart LT seems to have started the Wave 3 and currently seems to be have completed the lower degree Waves 1 and 2 , simply speaking we should be seeing a 3rd of the 3rd real soon if this analysis is correct.
Currently 2 trading strategies can be employed :
1. Traders can buy on dips in the Red Zone around 1450 to 1430 keeping strict SL below 1380.
2. A less aggressive approach would be to buy on clear break of the important Resistance of 1520.
Once the market sits above that level it would be a clear validation of the counts.
Point of Invalidation lies below 1300
I will update further if need arises.

Buy LTBuy LT near 1454 with stop loss at 1420-1421 and target at 1515 with reward to risk ratio 2:1.
LnT - Short Term BearishLnT seems forming HNS targeting 1280-1220 if breaks and sustains below 1420. One can keep stop of 1490 as stop once 1420 breaks and sustain below it.
LT - Big Big Big Cracking, Rectangle Consolidation BreakoutThe price action is been ranging from 1516-1460, about range of 60 points for a while and now I could see a cracking or breaking of it that indicates weakness and bearishness. I would suggest to short for now with a stop loss at 1485. Target 1400
L&T Ltd - Another Technically Challenged Stock - 7/28/2016Larsen & Toubro's stock has relatively easy flight from 1200 to 1600, but now next 100 / 150 something points may not come that easy. So here again, preferred strategy is to sell covered calls against the position or if you really want to short it then buy puts during the spike higher near 1700 / 1800.
You might have noticed that we seldom advise to short sell a stock because easier money can be made by buying stocks rather than shorting it. Yes, shorting can bring quick fortune but there are more factors in favor of stock price rising than for bringing it down. So for retail traders who don't have information flow and means like professional traders, it is strictly prohibited to sell stock.
Beside, large blue-chip companies are for long term holding. Trading in / out without better understanding of technicals will leave you clueless and put a dent in your equity. Nothing is wrong in buying low and holding it long term but if you have little knowledge about technical analysis then it can help you optimize the account value by very harmless strategies like covered call selling.
Also, don't forget to book profits whenever market gives you a chance like this Asian Paints trade. Here also we will be on sell the call premium mode near 1200 for partial position. These are the kind of stocks which you never leave for next 20/30/50 years but it is absolutely essential to take partial profit during big rallies so that you can use that capital to buy it again at lower levels.
Larsen & Toubro (LT) : Bearish Shark & ResistanceActually I noted this pattern when I came across a ping in my private messages..else I might have skipped this.
Here we have a bearish shark pattern ( I usually don't prefer sharks, bcos they are as dangerous as their name :) ). Its completion zone for LT is exactly in resistance zone, based on valid reversal confirmation I will initiate short positions here. If it reverses we will have double top also in LT.

L&T : Elliot wave & Simple Trendline RetestHey Guys,
We have nothing fancy here, its just simple trendline with elliot wave, so on the retest of trendline which happened yesterday we may get move upwards in LT. If trendline breaks down we may see downward move and elliot becomes invalid.
