In February 2021, Lucid Motors announced a deal valued at US$11.75 billion to merge with Churchill Capital Corp IV, a publicly traded special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC). CEO Rawlinson announced Lucid's intention to produce its Project Gravity SUV by 2023, then offer a competitor to Tesla's Model 3 by 2024 or 2025.
In July 2021, The Wall Street Journal reported that the Public Investment Fund will own over 60 percent of Lucid when the company goes public. The fund will record a profit of nearly US$20 billion from its investment in Lucid in 2018.
Lucid began building its first all-electric Air sedans in Arizona in September 2021 and started delivering them to customers in late October
Lucid Bullish push out of consilidation. Created a great base in what was previous resiatnce. Could be gearing up in a contiuation pattern here. Ascending triangle. Next push up with a target of 47$. If we lost this uptrending support. I’d be looking at high 42.30s to 43 as a backtest of that consildation resiatnce

LCIDsince the double bottom entry LCID ran up filled the gap and showed a decent profit taking level. i sold options at 54$. it retraced and now it seems to be consolidating on the 0.382 fib level. im invested long term and still accumulating. and selling calls for income to accumulate more. its possible to enter here but there is downside so i do not advise using leverage im still accumulating on spot. earnings are in march so feb it may start a run up into earnings so possibly another chance to sell options. still a hold this is a long term play. im willing to hold this for 4 years while taking passive income by selling calls and accumulating more.
