DJT Watching the dems freak out is such a pleasure. Payment for years of their bullshT. They think their insults have some kind of negative effect but actually it the opposite. Its hilarious 😂😂😊😊
DJT Stellantis pauses production at two plants in Canada and Mexico and lays off 900 US workers that supported those plants as a direct result of 25% tariff announcement.
DJT I'd like to know which foreign countries will be paying the increased sales taxes associated with all these tariffs? A 25% tariff adds 25% to the sales tax as well. If a $40k car becomes a $50k car, at 10% sales tax, that's an extra $ 1K in sales taxes on top of the 25% greater cost of the car. Even if you somehow pretend that tariffs don't raise prices (which they do), there's no denying that increasing the cost of goods will raise actual taxes on everyone who pays sales tax. Who was the last Republican President who raised taxes on EVERYONE?
Even if you try to avoid increased tariff costs by "buying American", don't forget that corporate CEO's in America are required by law to act in the best interests of shareholders. That means if they can raise prices to become more profitable because their competitor's goods now cost more, they not only can - they are required to if it would increase earnings and benefit shareholders. Even if it isn't for more profits, when their input costs rise, they will raise finished goods prices to stay profitable. So even American made goods will rise in price and then hit you again with the additional higher sales tax as a result of that higher price. You WILL now be paying more taxes. No way around that.
America’s New Trade Plan: The World’s Biggest ‘Protection Racket’ Goes Official. Washington, D.C. – After decades of reckless spending, the U.S. has finally realized that running a -$1.1 trillion trade deficit isn’t exactly a flex. So instead of fixing its own economy, it came up with a genius plan—make the rest of the world pay for it.
Enter “America’s Premium Subscription”, also known as ridiculously high tariffs on imports.
Regardless of perspective, one thing is clear: America has turned access to its market into a billion-dollar subscription plan—and the world has no choice but to pay.
If this is some GTA-level trade policy. “First, we give you the business. Then, we tax you for it. Then, we take it back.”
DJT Trumps stock should be $100 after that speech, just by the fact he spared us from listening to those two teleprompter reading, idiot, bureaucrats. The US now has a legitimate chance of solving its debt crisis. Bravo
